The Walking Dead on AMC

Couple of questions. A couple of episodes back when Rick was in the house and "the bad guys" show up, who was the guy in the bathroom?

Rick is sound asleep in bed and is awakened by the sounds the guys arguing downstairs. He hears boots on the stairs and scrambles under the bed. Len comes up stairs, looks around and lays down on the bed and falls asleep. Just as Rick gets ready to escape another guy comes up.

This is the guy who fights with Len and collapses in front of Rick. Len then lays back down and falls back asleep. Rick escapes and ends up in a kids room, hiding, because Joe has just came up the stairs and is getting Len to come downstairs with him.

At no time did anyone else come up the stairs. If he isn't part of the gang, who is he? Has to be part of the gang but when did he get up there? Also, he was fully clothed and sitting on a closed toilet.

Secondly, the guy that Len beat up in the bedroom, is he dead or just knocked out? The answer to this question could tell us if scene with Daryl meeting the guys in the road happens before or after the scene in the house.

I think I still have this episode on my DVR. I'm going to watch it again to see who else comes upstairs.

I think the guy that Len beat up was just knocked out. I also think that will come into play again soon as he saw Rick and will remember that when he wakes up. Maybe he will say something about it to Daryl????

On a side note, my DD has decided she wants to watch but I told her she needs to watch from the beginning. So we are going to start marathoning (hum, I think I made up a new word) the whole series tomorrow. I just have to find a way to keep DS out of the room. I think he needs a father/son day with this dad tomorrow while DD and I bond over The Walking Dead ;)

That's a great idea! I just bought them online and was going to start reading them this weekend, but now I think I'll wait until this season is over. Than at least I can get my fix during the summer hiatus.

It has been tough to wait though, LOL. Luckily things have been busy around the house or those books would be read already :lmao:

Oh, too funny. I hate to see my typos when someone else quotes me. The books are on my dresser (not dressing) ;)

The only other thing I can think of is that he was running and hiding from that group of guys. At the beginning of that scene, they are downstairs, and the leader is mad at one of the guys in their group. Saying he was a coward for something he did. They didn't allude to what it was, but it maybe it was because he let someone get away? Maybe this guy got into the house before they did, not knowing he was there and hiding upstairs in the bathroom? Could just be a plot hole though. I doubt if it matters, it was just driving me crazym:rolleyes1

I have the same problem with my 8 year old. It's hard watching it with her around the house.

I thought something like this might happen. It was fairly obvious that the girl was not right. I just thought they might have her around a little longer.

Riveting episode. Great acting. Intense.

Re: Judith. I think she was wrapped in a blanket on Tyreese's back.

I'll confess that I cheated and read the spoiler that was posted last week on this thread, but it was still gut wrenching to watch! I thought it was an excellent episode!

So do you think the fire was the shack burning? If so, and the burnt walkers show up , they were fairly close to Beth and Daryl.

I think that's exactly what it was. In my head, I picture all of them basically going in circles to some extent, having no clue how close they are to other members of the group. I don't think they had a chance to scatter very far, but I could be wrong.

Once again I can't get over how adults would leave children unattended. Reminds me of Lori. Tyrese and Carol both witnessed strange behavior from Lizzie, but did not hesitate to leave her alone with the younger kids multiple times.

It was obvious that Lizzie suffered from something long ago, but no one asked Mika, or even Lizzie about it. Who would leave a child a gun after that scary conversation that night?

Great episode. Something similar happened in the comics, which some might consider a spoiler, so please highlight to read:

In the comic a young boy murdered his brother. While the adults of the group tried to decide what to do with him, Carl kills the murderous boy.

I was wondering if we'd see that play out exactly, but wasn't so sure due to the child-on-child-on-child murdering. I like how it played out in tonight's episodes.
