Great episode, I didn't see the banishment coming at all! I have never been a huge Carol fan so it's neither here nor there BUT I am interested in the aftermath of the decision. I know she is not off the show though (IMO) so we will see her again. Can't wait to see if Rick tells the group the truth or makes something up and how Daryl and Tyrese will react.

Last night on the Talking Dead (way better than last week btw) they discussed Rick being afraid of Carol. I wouldn't call it afraid, I would say he lost the trust he had in her as being one of the few that would always have his back and keep him and the original group safe, therefore she had to go. I guess you could say he was scared of how cold she had become in a general sense because that would put him and the others at risk if she was so willing to take things into her own hands and kill Karen and the other guy.

That said....I still don't know 100% if Carol was the killer or if it was Lizzie. Something seems "off" with the little girl so I can't call it.

Wow.. this would be an interesting story arc.

I'm still having trouble believing that Carol DIDN'T kill Karen and whats-his-name. She's so disconnected. Won't say Sophia's name. Went a little bonkers when Lizzie accidentally called her "mom. " Pretty harsh to yell at a kid with no mother for calling you mom... just sayin'. Then she insisted those two young people go out and gather food when they were so ill-prepared to be out on their own. And no remorse when they realize what happened to the girl.

I do find Rick totally hypocritical. Carl did murder a young man for no reason whatsoever. But I do think he has the "right" to ban Carol - he's the only leader they have right now. Daryl is no leader. He's a warrior (and completely awesome to look at, lol). Glenn is sick, Hershel is taking care of the sick, Carol has lost her mind, Michonne wanders off in search of the governor and isn't there much of the time. Who else to take this role?

I don't think Carol is "bonkers." I think she might be the most level-headed characters right now. She didn't yell - she just quickly said, "Don't call me mom."

No remorse for the girl....

Remember that scene in the second season, I think, when they drive past the hitchhiker on the road who is begging them to stop and help? And then they drive back by and he's dead. I don't think there's really been any remorse for the loss of a stranger since then.

Rick is still the leader though, no doubt, even if he isn't acting like it. Carol even wanted him to be the leader - she told him he couldn't be just a farmer. I think the reason she left so easily might've been because she was satisfied that he was finally doing something. Finally taking control.

.

I don't think Carol is at all bonkers either. She is doing what she feels needs to be done. She has become detached, but how would any other human being behave in her shoes? Her daughter was taken from her, the best way to deal with that in the current enviroment is to shut it out. She is more levelheaded than most of them.

That scene was season 3, the episode where they found Morgan. I loved that scene when the backed up and took his bag. It was heartless, but it was such a good portrayal of how life has to be now.

I cannot wait to see how Daryl reacts to this, I think there will be people that are not happy with Ricks decision.

And the Talking Dead was soooooooooooooooooo much better this week. I really enjoyed the wrestler, I'd love to sit down and discuss the show with him LOL, he clearly loves and it and thinks it to death like we do!
And the comment about last weeks guest being Bob from Chatanooga, that was fantastic!!! I don't think Manson was probably amused, but we sure were.

I'm ready! I think this is going to be a good episode. 4 more minutes!

Holy Hannah!!! That was the most stressful 35 minutes or so! And the ending! Wasn't expecting that so soon, lots of gasping here!!!

But I really wanted to see Rick answer Daryl!

I really hope the Governor and Carol cross paths.

I really hope the Governor kills Carol and cuts off her head.

I really hope the Governor puts her head in an aquarium.

I really hope the Governor leaves the aquarium wrapped like a Christmas present outside of the prison gates for Rick and company to find.

I knew he had to come back. I wonder if he somehow was the one feeding the rats. It seemed the rat feeder was on the other side of the fence though. I really wanted to see rick tell Daryl but we will have to wait. I thought for sure Herschel was going to die in tonights episode.

I loved it when Daryl said Herschel was "one tough *******"

Something is very off with Lizzy (playing in the blood with her foot :crazy2:). I wonder if she's been talking to the Governor at the fence or something and he instructed her to do the rat thing :confused3 (maybe he pretends to be a zombie that can be normal and that would explain her confusion about how the zombies are). I was worried that Glen was going to bite it...so glad he's okay, for now.

Yeah, Lizzy is really acting nutty. Where the heck was she leading that walker? And the blood? Ick!

We are thinking Lizzy is maybe on the Governors side, like an inside mole (or rat!) So glad Glenn and Hershel are OK. Can't believe they are making us wait for Daryl to find out about Carol!

For once though, Lizzys weirdness worked in our favor, since she led the walker away from Glenn. This episode was so tense! From the minute Herschel went to help Sasha it was just constant!! Glenn, the fence coming down, walkers inside and outside, and then HIM! Yikes!!!! I really cannot believe Herschel survived this either, I really thought he was toast after his speech, and then when the doctor coughed blood all over his face. Some people must just be immune for some reason.
Playing with the blood with her foot, was so odd. I will be very interested to see how this shakes out, when they finally tell us what the heck is up with that girl. I suppose the Governer could be talking to her, the rat thing would be less malicious then, since she is a child, and can be easily swayed. I still think she is too short to have fed the walkers.
There cannot be a whole lot of people left in the prison, between Patricks attack and last night.
That was sweet when Daryl said that to Herschel, but the moment was brief since the next thing he said was "where is Carol".

Lizzy definitely doesn't appear to be sick. Everyone around her is dying, and she's cool as cucumber.

I think Daryl is going to be upset about Carol, but mostly because Rick decided to take matters into his own hands. In the end, I think he'll be ok with Rick's decision, however I think it may cause waves between Daryl and Tyreese.

Glenn is not looking to good, he's in the final stages. I would find it hard to believe that any medicine could bring someone back from near death. Don't get me wrong, I love Glenn and would hate to see him go. But realistically, he should be dead.

I liked the angle with Rick and Carl last night, bonding by fixing the fence and killing zombies, it may not have been the ideal throwing the football around in the back yard, but the relationship is adapting and growing as it should. Carl is one tough cookie.

I am still hoping Lizzy killed the first ones and Carol covered for her by burning the bodies.

I just don't see Carol doing that, but Lizzy, yeah!

I also think it was the Gov feeding Zombies to the rats. Isn't that fence closed w/ just some wire in places. I know in the past, that is how they got in. So how hard would it be for the Gov to unclip that, draw the Zombies to the fence, then slip out again.

I am hoping Daryl goes ballistic on Rick, not only forcing her out, but making that decision on his own.

Annoyed we have to wait for that. :(

Both DS and I were yelling at the tv at the end. Not the GOVERNOR!

Lizzie has issues... I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that she killed Karen and David and Carol was covering for her.

Loved Talking Dead last night - Adam from Myth Busters would be the ideal guy to have with you during a Zombie Apocalypse.

Great epi! I like those! Well, it was a nice bonding moment for Rick & Carl. Rick seemed to be looking at Carl realizing he isn't a little boy anymore. I am glad Hershel & Glenn made it through. Lizzie is twisted. She told Hershel that she thought the walker was listening to her & could understand her. She definitely doesn't understand the whole zombie thing & still wants to see them as people. Like the PP said, I also think the Governor could be influencing her thru the fence, confusing her.
Is Daryl going to leave to find Carol? Will this affect his relationship w/Rick? He always did what Rick said, that may change now.

Talking Dead was funny. I wasn't crazy about them showing the same preview of next week that we already saw from the end of the show. There are 3 tents so his 2 buddies must still be with him, unless it's a different 2 guys. One was Martinez right? He seemed like he would be a sensible guy. Maybe just hanging w/Governor for survival at this point, but when the Gov goes psycho on the group, Martinez switches sides???

Wow. This may be a thread about a zombie apocalypse show, but that might've been one of the most twisted posts I've read.

Guys, we have our own governor - watch out! :rotfl:
