SPOILERS If I remember correctly:rotfl2:

Awesome show!!!

Thank you both for the info! Looks like I'll just HAVE to go out and buy season 2 so that I can watch that last episode! :rolleyes1 ;) I figured it was a doozy since I was sooo WTH?! at the beginning of season 3.

Well, Rick figured it out, and in the end, killed with by stabbing him with a knife. Shane comes back as a walker

so THAT's how they figured out that they were all already infected but just carriers. I was wondering what Lori was talking about when she was worried about becoming a walker if she died during childbirth.

1 - why did they leave the farm?
2 - what eventually happened to the kid/hostage
3 - what happened to Shane?
4 - how did Dale die? (Nooooooo!!! he was my favorite! :sad1:)
5 - how did Andrea get separated from the rest of the group?
6 - why is Rick so cold to Lori right now?

wdwmom has it right, but for #6, that's the big question. At the end of Season 2, she was upset at him for killing Shane and wouldn't even let him touch her.

My thought, really, is that the producers realized everyone hated Lori and now they're trying to garner sympathy for her. And there's only one reason I can see for them to do that...

:scratchin She DID mention to Hershel (sp?) that she was worried about the baby dying in utero, turning zombie and ripping her apart. :crazy2: How awesome an episode would THAT be?! :lmao:

Rick already knew they were all infected. He told the rest of the group on last seasons finale. That's what the CDC doctor whispered in his ear.

She was also very upset with Rick for not telling them that they were all essentially walkers already. I'm guessing we'll see soon enough. Or maybe he has just snapped and lost his mind LOL. I can certainly see that happening to anyone!

That would certainly be . . . interesting!:crazy2:

I'm actually a little nervous about the whole baby thing. I hate violence against kids, especially babies. Sophia nearly made me a wreck. I can't take anything happening to that baby.

I thought something big must have happened during the winter to have Rick and Lori's relationship do a 180 from the end of season 2. But according to the writer of the show, nothing happened. Lori and Rick's marriage is not going well, and Season 3 is all about them working out their issues. There is supposed to be a "brutal" moment between the two in the next episode and I can't wait to see what it is. But I hope it does not involve a zombaby.

Can't wait to see what that could be!!!

Did Lori also say that Carl hated her? I wasn't sure if I heard that right or not.

Yes, I believe she told Hershel that.

Yes, I believe she told Hershel that.

Yes, she did say that to Herschel, but she didn't say why. He maybe found out about Shane? I can't imagine why Carl would hate her.

I'm thinking it's because she's trying to hold onto her pre-apocalypse "this is what a child your age should be doing/not doing" parenting. Such as not being comfortable with Carl learning how to shoot a gun (season 2). I think she thinks Carl sees her as being the "bad" parent.

Finally watched S03E01 this morning. Wow! I cannot wait for the introduction of the Governor and to get more story from Michonne. I have never liked Andrea too much. I would prefer Michonne more I think. I actually love Lori. Carl is annoying, but I will give him a pass for being a kid. Love Rick, Love Dary. Really miss dale. However, I think that Hershel can be the replacement figure for Dale. I just hope they are not going to kill him off. Dont miss Shane in the Slightest.

I do think that's part of the friction between Rick and Lori. She doesn't want her baby becoming this child soldier, and Rick sees that in order to survive in this world, that's what Carl needs to be. That's why Rick looked at Carl in a meaningful way during the campfire when he was saying something about taking the prison back from "those a-holes." He's trying to help Carl grow into this world, while she's not ready to accept that he that's what he needs to do, if he's going to stay alive. And obviously because Carl wants to grow up and take more responsibility, he's on his dad's side.

Merles story was interesting to me. They handcuffed him to the pipe at the top of the building that was being overrun by zombies because he was being belligerent and rude. When it was clear that they had to flee, they tried to let him free by tossing him the key to the cuffs as they were escaping. They key slid down the drain grate and they were forced to leave Merle chained to the pipe. They went back to look for him later and it was evident that he hacked off his hand to free himself. We never found out what happened to him.

They didn't just try to toss it to him, T-Dog was going to let him free but he tripped and the key went down the drain.

As for killing them being low on ammo, the walkers immediately go after anything alive. All they had to do was lure them toward the fence and pop them with the pole or knife or something. That would have saved on ammo, and then they could have walked into the courtyard at their leisure. But it makes for more exciting TV, I guess. :)

They kind of explained that with having to get the other gate closed so more walkers couldn't get in. Sure, they could have popped them off one at a time, but they would have just kept filling in.

I just got in to the show, and I love it! The kids I used to baby sit watched it (:confused3), so I saw the last couple of episodes of season 2 in bits and wasn't overly impressed. A week ago or so, I sat down and watched it on Netflix though, and man! It is great!

Now that would be awesome and awful at the same time. I hate the idea of a zombie baby but what a shock that would be. Even if I expected it, it would still be a shock.

As for Merle, I think that he and Daryl will be fighting rather than Daryl being influenced by Merle. I can see Merle thinking that Daryl ran out on him.

I, too, am looking forward to the Merle character coming back.

I really am wondering who they kill off this season and when it will be. I was reading an article in Entertainment Weekly and the producers states there would be multiple deaths of major characters. They said it would be inaccurate that, in this type of situation, that all the characters would stay alive. That's kind why I like Walking Dead so much, they always keep you guessing and just because someone is a major character doesn't mean they are "safe".

Like I said, I read the comic book updates so I have an idea who it might be, but they have deviated so much from that story line that I just don't know....

My take on Rick & Lori is, in the beginning he was so happy to find her & Carl, he didn't care a bout anything else. Now he's had time to digest it, see's the baby growing, know's it might be Shane's and has to live with the fact that he killed his friend for her. Never mind their marriage was shaky to begin with, that stuff will do a # on your marriage.

As for Carl, kids that age pick up on vibes from their parents, and a boy at that age is going to lean towards his father. If dad is mad at mom, son will be too. Especially if he found out why Rick & Shane had a falling out and why Shane wound up dead. Young boys do NOT like to find out their mom's have been "around".
