The walking dead amc #2

Oh good. I'm excited to think the Dwight was the one to help him. I would like to see him move to alexandrias side.

Could be Dwight as he had the key to the bike

Which was the key attached to the note

Not sure it was Jesus that helped Daryl get out of there. Wasn't there a key attached to the note? Plus how would Jesus find out where Daryl was so quick. So I'm thinking it was either Dwight or Sarah who helped Daryl out.

I think it was Sarah. I think Dwight was on a run when Daryl got the note. Either way -- I hope both Sarah and Dwight team up with Daryl and the others. That iron scene was tough -- someone that can do that to a person is just nuts!

As for the boots -- there was an article review about a new sinister character being introduced in the season finale -- so I'm thinking the boots belong to someone we haven't met yet. Maybe the boat owner, or someone completely new.

Didn't Kirkman say in The Talking Dead that we should recognize the boots from the boat? Didn't make sense to me because I didn't see any other living people on the boat.

The boats you saw the first time were the same boots shown near the end of the episode

Kirkman said the boots person will have an impact for the end of this season

We have to wait until the show returns in February for it

I think he meant that the boots you saw in the beginning, watching by the boat, were the same boots (meaning the same person) at the end.

Yes, that's what made it so obvious -- is that she had color and wasn't thin looking. I personally think it is a blooper and maybe a crew or tech person got in the shot because she hurried through that curtain opening and was definitely moving faster than a walker.

Okay, so you guys have seen her now?! I am not nuts, she didn't belong at all with the sand walkers.

Sorry, I had tried to upload the clip I took with my phone but it didn't work.

Thank goodness! I watched it over and over and couldn't figure out how no one else saw her.

Could have been a blooper but she seemed like she was kind of hurrying g Heath through that curtain thing.

I agree with whoever said she might be one of the whisperers.

Also, I FINALLY got to watch the mid-season finale (my darn dish went down about half hour before it was to start) and was really hoping that guy who was talking with Carol and Morgan would have said to them "after what Negan did to that bunch from Alexandria, it's only a matter of time until he gets us"........i just want the fire lit under Carol again!!

Why, oh why, do I sob like a baby when Daryl shows emotion, geez, think I cried more at Rick and Daryl's reunion than I did at Daryl and Carol's.

I really enjoyed this episode and loved seeing them get the desire to fight back

I have seen only two other bloopers on the show so far

Last episode showed negan with his cell phone in his pocket
Could see it in his pants pocket when he was talking to spencer on the porch

Not necessarily a blooper. Perhaps it has photos or messages stored on it from "before" that he wants to save. On the show "Revolution" where the world had regressed to pre-Industrial times (no power/electric or motorized stuff), one character had kept her cell phone for 10 years because there were pics of her kids on it that she would allow herself a few seconds of precious battery power each day to look at.

I'd think even turning on my phone for 2 to 3 seconds a day would drain it in a few months. The turning on would requires a lot more power than we'd think. I get it, it's the premise for a show but how long do you think your cell phone would work if you just powered on every day, looked at pictures for a few seconds, then powered off. I'd give me phone 3 months at best.

Generators do exist.

No but they do on TWD. All I'm suggesting is that the phone may not be a blooper.

I was thinking in the lines of Revolution, how you were saying their is no power / electrical / motorized. In that scenario I could never see my phone lasting more than 3 months. Didn't clarify that. Walking dead - absolutely would last. You have generators, car batteries, solar power, probably some other forms of power to charge electronics / machinery. Or be Dwight and watch old episodes of Who's the Boss. Totally acceptable use of limited power resources.

Yeah, Negan having a phone is plausible considering they have so many electrical sources at their disposal and gas. Of course in reality the gas would be useless after 2+ years. Alexandria is believable since it was a city built to be sustained on solar power. If they never show Negan looking at his phone, then maybe it was a blooper. I really can't remember the last time we have seen a cell phone. You never see any of them looking at one, plus wouldn't the camera in the phones still be usable without internet? Surprising you never see them taking pictures.

OK just rewatched the finale, I am now thinking 5% Dwight but 95% the Whisperers watching the groups. I don't think they reveal themselves yet but stand back & watch the other groups go to war with Negan.

I still hope they keep to the dynamic of the Whisperers - it will be badass!!
