The walking dead amc #2

I didn't love or hate last night's episode. Not every episode can be a nail biter. I did hate the dark scenes, though. I could see nothing and could only hear what was going on. Maybe the sex scene would have bothered me more if I could have seen it. I did love the water scene though. Stabbing walkers gets old. I love it when they come up with new ways to gross me out.

BTW, Lizzie was in Once Upon A Time last night. I kept thinking "Uh Oh she's going to stab her sisters so they become walkers!"
Did anyone tell her to look at the flowers? :thumbsup2

Now I can see the next 3 episodes before mid season break.

Episode 6 - Daryl and Carol follow to the hospital, Carol gets caught while Daryl finds Noah and brings him back.

Episode 7 - Abraham and group backtrack to the church and meet back up with Rick and group.

Episode 8 - All go Rickbrarol (can I trademark that?) on the hospital.

I don't think they will stay at the hospital. I think they will embark at the end of episode 8 to Richmond after Noah tells of it.

I understood why Abraham's family were afraid of him after watching him brutally kill those guys, but really...unless something else was going on with him besides killing the men who raped his wife and daughter and made his son watch, the last thing I would do is just up and leave with my two kids during the zombie apocalypse. Come on, in a situation like that it would be comforting to know that dad has got your BACK!! :confused3

Also yes, the whole time they were in the bookstore was practically just pitch BLACK except for a few barely lit parts of the screen. When Abraham and Glenn were talking I felt like I was listening to a radio program instead of watching tv, it was so dark. I find this to be a growing issue with not just TWD (although it seems to be the worst right now), but a lot of other shows as well. Not only that, but it seems like most dramas have incredibly soft dialogue that you can barely hear but you don't want to turn up the volume too high because all the background sound effects are disproportionately loud. I end up turning the closed captioning on during a lot of tv shows these days.

Seeing Lizzie on Once Upon a Time as a young Snow Queen made me laugh. I will never be able to see her as anything but Psycho Lizzie!!

Best part of last nights show was the naked seen ;)

"Maybe I'll let you shave me down all over, dolphin smooth,"

Can we all say "Dolphin Smooth" ::yes::

Me either! When I saw her on OUAT I said out loud 'oh no it's the crazy kid from the Walking Dead, run girls!'

I'm in the I didn't love or hate Sunday's episode group. I didn't mind seeing their backstory but I also felt like the episode itself should have explained it, not having to watch Talking Dead to know what is going on. :confused3

I'm more disappointed that we are back to a disjointed season of seeing only a few characters each episode

I hope they turn back now and look for Rick and Co. In theory, if Rick and the group were following the map, they should run in to them even if they left the church because they would be following the same path. But now we are left wondering if Rick and Co. are heading to the hospital instead.

DH was just irritated that they lost another vehicle. He didn't buy the hitting the other car and flipping over scene  Even with the glass in the tank, he didn't think the bus would do that (run up the back of another car and flip over). And he wants to know why they are always driving so fast when they know there is likely to be debris all over the roads. :confused3

So who do we think is in the white sheet being put in the fire by Daryl (from the trailer shown on The Talking Dead)? I think Beth is too obvious. Someone else from the hospital maybe?

I agree, they wouldn't have shown us that if it was Beth. I really have no clue. Someone Carol and Beth find in the hospital that still has their humanity left?

The episode was a little disjointed. I was thinking back to those early episodes with the WHOLE group on the lam...at Hershel's farm, at the CDC. I miss having them together.

I think the preview wants you to think it's Beth in the sheet, but I don't think it is. When Daryl puts the body in the fire, Carol says thank you to him like he's doing a favor for her. She wouldn't say that if it was Beth. Plus I would think Daryl would be more of a mess too. So I am wondering if it's someone from the hospital that Carol meets while in there. The person doesn't look very big either, maybe a child that reminds her of Sophia or a young adult?

The size made me think it was a child as well.

No, it's too small to be Beth. Something tells me that this is going to be Carol's big episode, where she breaks down and tells Daryl what she "didn't want to talk about"... how she had to kill Lizzie, despite being known as the nurturing, motherly type for so long.

The last 2 episodes have been pretty "meh" to me but I'm glad that Eugene's secret is out of the bag, it was driving me crazy. I have not read the comics but I just had an off "fraudy" feeling about him as soon as he arrived on the show, the annoying protection of him by Abraham, ugh it was just so off.

Sunday was another DARK episode, at one point I just threw my hands up and walked away because I had no idea what was going on. I get it, it's the zombie Apocalypse, there's no electricity, no lamps, no lighting at night but what the heck, I would like to see what's happening here!

The fire truck water scene was kind of cool but I kept screaming at the tv "get in that water and take a shower" oh my god, it skeeves me out seeing how dirty they are. It's understandable but wow would a shower feel great after going that long without one.

Funny you should mention the dirtiness...while generally I agree, I did take note that Abraham and Rosita appeared unusually clean the next morning in the bookstore. I kept thinking did they bathe in the toilet water or what?

How do we know that Abraham's wife and daughter were raped by those men he killed? And that she left him? Did I miss that?

We knew she left because she wrote him a note that he found when he woke up. The other part we only know if we watched the Talking Dead, or read the comics.

Did anybody watch last night's? What did you think?

I liked it better than last week's Abraham story. And it was good to see how Carol got into the hospital.

I did not watch Talking Dead so if anyone heard any good tidbits, please share! :)

I watched. For sure better than last weeks. I don't know why, but I didn't realize the kid who stole from them was the kid from the hospital. I felt like an idiot when he said something about Beth. I am looking forward to them taking down the people at the hospital!

I liked last nights alot!! But they are my two favorite characters. I have to see I did NOT see that coming. I totally thought she was planted at the hospital, as did Chris Hardwick on the Talking Dead. There was so much um, tension between them last night though, geez! I wanted her to tell him everything about Lizzie.
I don't really think there were too many tidbits on the Talking Dead last night. It was a great episode, and I love Yvette, the way she analyzes everything so deeply is awesome. Lot's of good discussions, but I don't think anything enlightening like in previous weeks. But that could be because for once everything was pretty clear this week.
