Good Morning Sunshines!!!!



I'm so glad the camper is home free now too. It is safe, just needs cleaning now as DH filled it with things we needed down here for the fall, not to mention tons of Halloween directions and blow ups for our campsite!!!! He is off today as it is supposed to be the day he travels home but he did that Saturday on his own time so will take today off, unload the camper, put things in the condo and then park the camper way back in the back of the complex and hope they will let us leave it there. It's off season now so the place is almost completely empty sans about 10 or 12 condos that are rented. So it's not in anyone's way. Just have to see if they have strict rules against parking a camper or boat or stuff like that on the property. If that is the case, we'll move it up the road to one of those self storage places and have to pay a monthly rent on it. So keep your fingers crossed.

I think Disney is really low on their usual numbers for this year at this time of year. They just sent me a pin code email for sept 28th - oct 11th...$63 a day including tickets and free dining. Wish I could take advantage of it but still too expensive for me right now to stay on property. That's the cheapest I've ever seen disney offer anything though. Hurricanes and economy must really be making attendance numbers low.

Thats a REALLY great price!! Too bad you can't use it but aren't you special just to get the offer!! We are trying to go next Aug (UGGHHH) and I can gurauntee you we won't get a price like that! i would prefer to go off season but as this is for DHs best friends wedding I don't get to pick the dates!! Bride is a teacher so the best she could do is the middle of Aug. Oh well If we can just GO I will do the happy dance!!!

yeah it does stink but I"m still excited about our trip!! It will be nice to spend all that time with james and rebecca! Can't wait!!

That is going to be so much fun!!! Being with friends always makes it better!!!!

Hey ladies! Just checking in.

So preschool starts this week and we begin with the letter "A" (of course) for show and tell. I start naming things like Apple, Acorn, Alligator, Anemone and DD says, yes, Anemone.

How does she know this word already?

C'mon all you Disney buffs out there!

Is DD excited for preschool? How old is she? Sorry I'm so full of questions but I have been thinking about preschool for next year when DD will go.

Too funny about Anemone...gotta love Nemo!!! It took me a few because I kept hearing it in my head but couldn't remember where it was from!

Well ladies it is not that late but I got woke up at 6:30 a.m. this morning and though I laid back down I couldn't really go back to sleep so I a tired and have to get up tomorrow at 6:30 so everyone have a great night, sweet dreams and hope to catch up with you later!!!!

Gnite Cheri and DMM! Sorry I missed you all here. I went down for a snack and got sucked into an awful show -- yep, stayed and watched the WHOLE thing! It was so bad I had to continue watching!!! (America's next top model)

I've watched it in the past and enjoyed it but this time, they are just too weird and everything is over the top and too scripted. For the first time I wanted to slap Tyra (and I like her!!)

I usually love that show....What episode was it? I haven't caught any of the first season yet...have they had one or two episodes? (I wanna say just one? )

hey, was tnite ANTM a new one or a repeat? I am DVRing it in the bedroom and I forgot all about it.


I watched the season premiere and yes it was pretty over the top, but amusing

Well, I am being precautionary and made a Dr's appt today at 11:45. (one hour from now) What a fun lunch break this will be!

My back is killing me today...I hope it's just cuz I slept wrong. Normally it only flares up in cold weather. (For those who don't know, I sprained my back in a car accident early last year...and it STILL haunts me)

I will see if he can give me something for it, that way if it bothers me in Disney at least I'll be able to take the meds. I'm also hoping to get some antibiotics for Mike....I don't know if this doctor will do that though. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask..

well...good news! My vacation is saved! Thanks to my boss--who is having me volunteer (well I had to agree to this) on an auxilary team for Hurricane Gustav where I'll be working with many others out of an old grocery building in my town helping sign off on payments for meals, directing people to where they need to go, basically just anything they need me to do.

The storm team has been there a while and will probably be there even longer with Ike coming. I will be working there the rest of this week, and probably when I come back as well. This will keep me as a different status than "evacuation team" and allow me to go. She is so awesome!!

I'm also getting my hair done Wednesday after work. Can't remember if I told y'all that the salon was still without power Saturday and I couldn't go. I needed to get in before the trip. So she fit me in. Wednesday is the day....whew!

I'm off to the dr. in about 30 minutes.

It's gonna be one busy week!
