So, I'm confused....Hurricane Ike is HUGE!! In clouds at least. If you look at the cloud radar it shows it just being humongus. But if you look at the rain there's only a little bit and it's not even raining over cuba where Ikes eye is right now. That is so confusing to me. I remember hurricanes in Florida when I lived there and there was always a crap load of rain. Ike doesn't seem to be carrying a lot with it right now. I don't know why but this stuff really interests me and I wanna know why it's not dumping a crap load of rain right now.

anyway I forgot to say I got a shot in my hip at the dr. and he gave me a Z-pack prescription. He also gave me some xyzal samples--which is a non-drowsy sinus pill. Hopefully that will drain my ears. The shot should jump start it though. I just don't want to fly with clogged ears...that'd be MISERABLE. I want to be HAPPY when I get to Orlando!

I hope everyone is full od spit and pixie dust today. Our trip is in two weeks from today!! WOO HOO!!! Anyway, the reason why I am weiting is to tell you all about Disneys search for new "Moms" for thier panel. Application are Sept. 8 to 16. They want 16 moms or dads who know WDW and can answer questions from folks via e-mail. The application prosses begins with a seris of questions and three brief esseays. Thanks! I couldn't be more thrilled myself! Still a little worried about the flight being messed up by the weather, but it's definitely a big ole relief to know that work is not keeping me here.

I can't say that I'm DARK but I don't think I can be called PASTY anymore.

I am feeling better already...thanks to that shot! I was SO sleepy after I got it though. Thankfully I made it through the day.
Tomorrow I will start off at my office, but I'll probably be going to the Hurricane site sometime...as soon as they call me. So I won't be able to DIS when I am over there.

I'm gonna go crazy! I need to DIS this week since Disney is coming up Saturday! OMGosh did I mention I have to wake up at like 5 am? Well...for Disney I will do anything!

I just hope I'll be near a computer Friday at 8 am so I can check in at Southwest's website.

2weeks!! Thanks for the link i'm on it now!! Not that I've been a gazillion times or anything unless you count all the TRs I've read!!! But the Disboards have made me feel pretty knowledgeable!!

I'm pretty white myself. One of the kids at school the other day was telling me i needed to get a tan. he said i was the whitest teacher in the school. i rolled up my sleeve above my elbow and said "I HAVE a tan Thank you!!! i have a MAJOR farmers tan from staying in my flower beds this summer! My neighbors best friends works at a tanning salon a few blocksover and she's told me she'll have to run a special just to get me in!!! They said I'm like a ghost. I say I have ghost like qualities!!! HMMPHHH

Good Morning Sunshines!!!!



I'm so glad the camper is home free now too. It is safe, just needs cleaning now as DH filled it with things we needed down here for the fall, not to mention tons of Halloween directions and blow ups for our campsite!!!! He is off today as it is supposed to be the day he travels home but he did that Saturday on his own time so will take today off, unload the camper, put things in the condo and then park the camper way back in the back of the complex and hope they will let us leave it there. It's off season now so the place is almost completely empty sans about 10 or 12 condos that are rented. So it's not in anyone's way. Just have to see if they have strict rules against parking a camper or boat or stuff like that on the property. If that is the case, we'll move it up the road to one of those self storage places and have to pay a monthly rent on it. So keep your fingers crossed.

Thats a REALLY great price!! Too bad you can't use it but aren't you special just to get the offer!! We are trying to go next Aug (UGGHHH) and I can gurauntee you we won't get a price like that! i would prefer to go off season but as this is for DHs best friends wedding I don't get to pick the dates!! Bride is a teacher so the best she could do is the middle of Aug. Oh well If we can just GO I will do the happy dance!!!

That is going to be so much fun!!! Being with friends always makes it better!!!!

A cardiologist died and was given an elaborate
