ANd our inspirational post for the day.......................

Last week my brother (he's our associate pastor at our church) preached about promises from God. I won't go into the whole sermon! I know some of you are relieved!!! but anyway he talked about diff promises in the Bible God made and then diff things he's done for people now. In the middle of this braeton tugged at me and said God had given him promises too. To walk and skills to ............. I couldn't understand him but I whispered yes that's great now lets listen to the rest.
At the end of the sermon my brother asked all those who wanted to that felt like God had given them a promise, whether it was a financial, salvation for loved ones or self, physical spiritual etc.... to come up front and claim that promise. While I was trying to get up to get out of the pew,Braeton again pulled at me and said "Mom God gave me a promise!" I leaned down and said
"He did?!"
He said "yeah! He promised that I would have strength and have the skills to write and jump!"

Now this just floored me. I mean would you look at that sentence!!?? He said that verbatim!! have the skills I didn't even realize he realized that he really couldn't write!
Any way i leaned over and said
"Then you hold onto that promise baby."
Which he said "Yeah and Daddy told me I could do and be ANYthing I wanted to as long as I have Faith!!!"
*choke, choke and a few tears* Yes you can!!

By then we were on our way up front and we prayed together holding hands.

Well Tues at the Neurologist I had to answer a bunch of questions about Braetons skills IN FRONT of him!!! Next time I will ask to write my answers!!! anyway one of them was could he jump with both feet off the g round. UHHH NO!!
Several times on the way home he would mutter "I CAN'T jump huh?!!! I can't jump!!"
That night he called me in the room to show me what Jesus had helped him do at his Aunts house earlier!!!

He bent his little legs held his arms out and took some DEEP breaths and summoning all his energy he................

JUMPEd almost an inch off the ground with BOTH feet and he did NOT fall down!!!

I testified tonight at church about it and I asked Braeton to tell the church what God did for him! Real loud he said I JUMPED!!! Everyone started clapping and grinning. Our church is small but we are all very close and they have watched Braeton go from being vegatative with very limited movement to a bright happy, hyper, busy busy, little boy. They have watched him go from car BED to wheelchair, to walker and now at church without ANY walking device!!!!
I believe that Braeton is going to do great things one day!!!

I'm finally feeling better. We have had a bit of drama around here but hopefully that is coming to an end.

Yes I was home earlier. I try to get on while having my cup of coffee in the morning. I am at work now.

It started thundering here and the wind was whippin up but it must have passed us over because we got no rain.

Sucks you have to work tomorrow. We are going to Gulfport Sunday and staying two nights. Try and hit the waterpark. Hopefully we won't get rained out.

Anybody else have plans for the weekend?

Tat your couch looks exactly like mine. I'll have to post a pic. Mine is a cocoa brown color which is what yours looked like in the pic. But the style everything but the remote!! looks the same! Great taste! Although I didn't pick mine out. It was given to us brand new when we moved in by one of DHs nurses!

Gotta go. B is not doing too well today. Slept till about 1 p.m. only waking up 2x for meds for headache. He's slurring really badly, can't walk and says his tounge feels funny. I've only given him motrin today so I don't know. Anyway as I'm on this just got ahold of the Dr and they say to come in so I'm off. I'ss see ya'll later!!

Ya know that stuff is supposed to go by face shape, that's all. But it's funny how it will pull up different people with different pics...guess it all depends on the angle your face is in the picture, and if your hair is up or down, etc

Hi everyone!

Sharky I hope you are o.k. now! Me and my poddy were on a first name basis Tues. I think it was nerves for me though! Whick was a little unusual but I was really wanting that kidney!!!! for Shannon not for me!

Oh man that poor little boy and the alligator! I have a friend, they used to be my neighbors, whose little girl lost her arm at 12 yrs old. She had gotten a kidney transplant and then got staff in her arm. they couldn't treat the staff inf. or they would lose the kidney. Anyway it was pretty tragic and i was with them. They ended up doing 3 surgeries where they thought they cut the staff out and graphed skin, they they amputated 3 diff times. Each time thinking they had gotten it all. She was pretty bitter and still has an attitude she didn't have before. But she also is pretty tough. A week after her amputations which was 3 weeks after transplant, she swept her hospital room and made 2 beautifull posters. All with her right hand. It is now almost 3 years later. She played basketball this year at school and won some awards. The beauty of all this is she was left handed before. She was not supposed ot havemade it but she did. I hope and pray it is the same for this little boy.

Wow! How sad...glad she is doing so well without her arm though...it's so amazing how kids bounce back from stuff like that!

Speaking of little boys we went to the Dr and found out that B was showing all the sighns of an antihistimine overdose. Yes I followed the directions on the new meds, but some people, like 1 in 20,000 are sensitive to it. B is oneof those of course. So anyway my son was basically feeling drunk!!! I couldn't help but think of Tat after she's taken her meds and is on here posting!!! B was telling the dr some interesting things too!!!

I'm glad it was nothing bad. I hope he's doing better now
