Cheri, that is way cool! Creepy a little... but still very cool!

The night that my best friend from hs died in a car crash I had a dream about her... she was telling me not to worry, that she was okay and not in pain but she did break her nose. The next day I found out that indeed she had hit the steering wheel in the crash, crushing her nose. I didn't know that before the dream.

I've had a few other experiences too.... makes ya wonder!

p.s. Evan wants to give y'all a banana~

glad everyone though it was cool...I'll tell another one here in a bit.

That is totally crazy! My Grandma's husband also had a dream in which she came to him and said he didn't have to worry, that between his family and her family, he'd be taken care of (he has trouble getting around and stuff so she always took care of him)

Hey Sharky, I forgot to say YAY!!! For PM kindergarten! :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

Nope, I didn't have any. We had burgers for dinner and I'm still full. Plus they ate all the cookies and cream and all that is left is caramel tracks and I'm just not feelin that.

It is only 8:40 but I am exhausted! Tomato got up at 3 am to go potty and he woke up Tank and then Tank decided he'd like to go out only Tomato was back asleep already so I had to get up and let him out. Grrr. :headache: Then I couldn't get back to sleep. Double grrrr. :headache: :headache: THEN... just when I fell asleep somewhere around 5 ish Abby came in our room and said she heard something outside. :headache: :headache: :headache: I wasn't very nice, I'm afraid, and I sent her back to bed by herself. Normally I'd get up and take her back and assure that there was no boogie man or anything but I was just so tired. And then the next thing I knew it was 6 and time to get her back up for school. So...............

GOOD NIGHT! :cloud9:

What a night!

They put her in the wrong band class. Second year in a row.

that's bull :sad2:

Her band teacher is going to take care of it because I guess a lot of kids have the wrong class.

Well I sure hope they do...that's ridiculous

Here's something else that happened.

My mom got a few things from my Grandma's apartment....one being a beautiful angel clock to put in her curio. John told her he wasn't sure if it even worked. My mom put in a new battery, and it still wasn't working. So she flipped the battery around thinking she had it in the wrong way. Still nothing. She tried another battery, flipped it around too. Nothing. She messed with it for 10 minutes trying to get it to work and it just wasn't doing a thing. So she said "Well, I guess I'm gonna have to get rid of it." Immediately after she spoke those words, it started ticking. :goodvibes

I WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE FOR SENDING GOOD VIBES AND THOUGHT TO US FOR DS AND GETTING THE CLASS THAT WE NEEDED FOR PRE-K

WE RECEIVED THE LETTER IN THE MAIL TODAY FROM THE SCHOOL AND...................

HE IS IN PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: Glad to hear that you guys got the pm class :dance3:

Hi Love, Carla, Cheri and Tink :wave2:

We have a picnic today at 1 so I'm bumming around until I have to get ready for that.

Have a great Sunday!

 Hi right back to you Betsy. How's DD's chin?

oh my...who ever heard of a child not wanting to color? :rotfl:

No kidding. I have to pry crayons out of DD's hand to get her to do anything. When Walmart had those notebooks on sale for 5 cents I grabbed a handfull cause she will tear thru them in a week coloring pictures all day long.

okay....so my mom told me a couple of things that happened since Grandma passed, and here is one of them:

Her husband, John (she remarried for the 3rd time a couple years ago) awoke to find something interesting the other morning.

First of all, you have to know a couple things about my Grandma. She LOVED her fish tank, it was her pride and joy. She was always talking to her fish, cleaning the tank, and just watching them.
She also used to write poems. She wrote many poems in her lifetime, and she'd share them with the family during certain functions. She wrote a poem entitled "Death of a Loved One" when my uncle died 20 years ago.

Well, no one knew where that very poem was. But when John awoke a few days ago, the fish tank light was on and there the poem laid on the floor in the middle of the room.

Wow. I agree alittle eerie but cool also :goodvibes

I need ice cream.:confused3

I have some ice cream I can share

You have to sneak over after the kids are asleep though. Don't want them to see that I have any.

I'm okay...dealing with friend problems and it's stressing me out

Just thinking about going to bed and being done with it!

Whew!!! Finally caught up.
Busy weekend here with more house stuff, taking the kids to the crappy (don't ask :headache: ) carnival that was in town for the week and having #1DS's friend sleep over.
Took #1DS to the doctor yesterday (he had been complaining about headaches, eyes being sore & then, at practice friday, feeling dizzy and seeing black spots). Guess we are gonna be going to an eye doctor cause it looks like he might need glasses. Shouldn't be much of a surprise with us since everyone on both sides of the family, except for me, wears or wore glasses.

Time for me to get back to the fun house stuff :laundy: :laundy:
Hope everyone has a good day

Yeah Kacy is pretty ticked off. It happened last year and she was in the wrong band class for almost a month and the councelor kept giving her the run around. Finally the band teacher sent her with a couple of other bigger male band members to see the councelor and the class was immediately changed.

Here's something else that happened.

Poor Luv,

It is so hard to catch up here when everybody gets going on here isn't it. My DS 12 started having migraines recently, I have had him to the DR. And they prescribed Tylenol with Coedine and he is allergic. So we ar eback to the drawing board. I am hoping the migraines are because of puberty. It's not his eyes either we checked. Good luck with DS.:goodvibes

 Poor kiddo. I get migraines every two weeks (hormonal) so I know how awful they are. Hopefully they can find something to help him with the pain.

I get migraines too so that is part of why I think he gets them. And mine are hormonal so that's why I think his are puberty related. And as far as his allergy to Coedine it also comes from Mom. Poor thing I think I have cursed him.

So are you done with your unpacking and organizing yet? That is always such an endless chore and when you have kids it just makes i that much harder.

I think one of my kiddos will probably have to suffer along with me. My mom has them too and she and I are so much alike.
Is he too young to try any of the migraine meds or are they doing the testing of trying certain meds to see what works. They did that with me in the begining found out alot like cafergot (sp) didn't do jack for me.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm sorry what was the question?

J/K It's slooooooowly coming along. Going basically room by room cleaning and unpacking, then the unplanned repairs (new fridge, toilet, patch leak in ceiling) get thrown in.

That's me. I basically have to hide or get knocked out to get rid of a migraine. They just are trying the different shots right now woth him because they just started. His DR did check to make sure there were no underlying problems causing it. Thank goodness he has a careful Dr I trust.

I think going slowly instead of just rushing in and just willy nilly unpacking is much better. This way everything is done your way and you are happy woth where everything is. You have had all the unplanned things thankfully they haven't been really major.

Now he has better things to do, like playing trains and watching you tube videos on the computer

Sorry about your son. Hope all is okay:goodvibes

Chele: Hi!!!!

migraines are the worst! :headache: I never got one until adulthood. They sure are hard to shake! I took some Tylenol rapid release Saturday when I had one...though I'll just call that one a VERY BAD headache.

Hi Sharky!

How are you guy's today?

Hey Chele

Sorry I did not get back to you before you logged off.

I was off talking to DH while he got ready for work

We are good. We just had dinner and are watching tv now :happytv:

Aww...sorry you were not feeling well. Hope it has gone away by now

So, I stopped at Walgreens on the way home to get a few things and as I am walking down one of the aisles, I look up and what do I see....

HALLOWEEN CANDY, DECORATIONS, CANDY BUCKETS

School has not even started here yet, we have not hit labor day and holiday season has already begun

Bad headaches are bad enough without even being migraines.

Isn't it funny but times like when DH is getting ready for work can be your only alone time when you have kids. When the kids were little I used to take advantage of moments like that for that precious alone time.
