Bad headaches are bad enough without even being migraines.

Isn't it funny but times like when DH is getting ready for work can be your only alone time when you have kids. When the kids were little I used to take advantage of moments like that for that precious alone time.

It really is nice:goodvibes

Yes and just think on November 1 the Christmas stuff will go up.

If we make it that long this year...I think last year, Christmas stuff was up a few days before halloween:sad2:

I don't know if you guys have Michael's Arts and Crafts but they are amongst the worst for that here. I cannot get in the mood for a holiday until the month that it is in and that isn't going to change now. Except I am thinking about making a scarecrow for a Halloween scarecrow contest and the scarercrow has to be set up the first week of October. It is for a pumpkin patch I made one in October of 2006 and I won an honorable mention so I am shooting for the money this year.

I have some ice cream I can share

You have to sneak over after the kids are asleep though. Don't want them to see that I have any.

Whew!!! Finally caught up.
Busy weekend here with more house stuff, taking the kids to the crappy (don't ask :headache: ) carnival that was in town for the week and having #1DS's friend sleep over.
Took #1DS to the doctor yesterday (he had been complaining about headaches, eyes being sore & then, at practice friday, feeling dizzy and seeing black spots). Guess we are gonna be going to an eye doctor cause it looks like he might need glasses. Shouldn't be much of a surprise with us since everyone on both sides of the family, except for me, wears or wore glasses.

Time for me to get back to the fun house stuff :laundy: :laundy:
Hope everyone has a good day
My kids aren't here. Just me and the computer. So let me know when your kiddos are asleep, and we'll have ice cream time.;)

Eww, having glasses so young sucks!
Poor Luv,

It is so hard to catch up here when everybody gets going on here isn't it. My DS 12 started having migraines recently, I have had him to the DR. And they prescribed Tylenol with Coedine and he is allergic. So we ar eback to the drawing board. I am hoping the migraines are because of puberty. It's not his eyes either we checked. Good luck with DS.:goodvibes
Aww, I feel for the poor kid. Wonder if he could take toradol or something.:confused3

The problem with prescribing for Loren is he is screwed Dad has drug allergies and I have them too. So it's a crap shoot for the kids. Loren has my Coedine allergy and Kacy has my Pennicillion allergy. Scotty my DH is allegic to sulfur antibiotics and so is Loren. So far Kody shows no signs of drug allergies. One out of three.

yeah, we have that store.

I can get into mood early. I am not a big Thanksgiving person, so by November 1st, I am ready for Christmas festivities :santa:

Aww man, that stinks:goodvibes

I know. You want to give your children things but not things like this.:goodvibes

Our story is in reverse

I have never had allergies my entire life

When I was about 5 months pregnant with DS, I had pleasure of getting asthmatic allergies and still have it now.

DS has it, too :sad2:

I know what you mean

When he gets a bad cold, then his asthma is triggered badly

I am worried a bout when he starts school and all those new germs :sad2:

School was abig fear for me at first especially with Kacy. She was a regular nebulizer user at the age of four. But you know school was the best thing for her asthma. We made sure the PE teacher knew she was asthamatic and the PE teacher watched her. Because of doing PE and then later band her asthma has improved greatly. So it may just be the same way for Huey.:goodvibes

Yeah, he was a regular nebulizer user from age 2-3

Now he uses it every few months and when he has a bad cold

I already told the nurse about his condition and she has a nebulizer in the office. I Just need to supply an extra tube and his medicine with instructions from the doctor.

I hope so...Thanks:goodvibes

I'll think happy thoughts for you.

Good Morning! I can't believe I am the first one on here this morning. I hope everybody is okay.:grouphug:

don't know how y'all feel about this type of stuff but....some interesting things have been happening at my Mom's house and at Grandma's late husband's apartment since Grandma passed.

I can share a few things if anyone is interested. Just don't want anyone to get creeped out. I personally just think it's so cool. I told her to come visit me, too. :)

Oh I'd love to read about it!! Love that kind of stuff. :goodvibes Do tell!! :listen:

Good Afternoon :sunny:

It's another beautiful day here today :cool1: We just got done using the new Nemo Slip n Slide that I bought DD. It was marked down to 11.99 and I had a 30% off coupon :woohoo: Well worth the money! I went down it in a pair of shorts and tshirt. I didn't feel like giving the neighbors something to talk about :rotfl2:

Hope everyone is doing well :goodvibes

Hiya betsy! Sounds like money well spent for sure! :thumbsup2 Glad y'all had fun

I am happy for you that you are switching. Should be great :cool1:

Thanks, We're happy/excited too. I'm gonna be hooking up my DSL when I get home this afternoon. I hope it goes smooth and I don't have to call tech support.

okay....so my mom told me a couple of things that happened since Grandma passed, and here is one of them:

Her husband, John (she remarried for the 3rd time a couple years ago) awoke to find something interesting the other morning.

First of all, you have to know a couple things about my Grandma. She LOVED her fish tank, it was her pride and joy. She was always talking to her fish, cleaning the tank, and just watching them.
She also used to write poems. She wrote many poems in her lifetime, and she'd share them with the family during certain functions. She wrote a poem entitled "Death of a Loved One" when my uncle died 20 years ago.

Well, no one knew where that very poem was. But when John awoke a few days ago, the fish tank light was on and there the poem laid on the floor in the middle of the room.

Wow that is so awesome! :goodvibes Gives me goosebumps!!

hope so...good luck with that!

isn't it crazy? I'll let y'all know if I hear of anything else...

Yeah, I kinda told them I had already gone.

You BAD girl!! :sad2:

What the heck? I lost half my replies?:confused3

I forget what all was in there, just wanted to let Carla know that it took me less than two weeks to get my gift card.:goodvibes

Oh okay. Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully I'll get it some time this week. :thumbsup2

It is only 8:40 but I am exhausted! Tomato got up at 3 am to go potty and he woke up Tank and then Tank decided he'd like to go out only Tomato was back asleep already so I had to get up and let him out. Grrr. :headache: Then I couldn't get back to sleep. Double grrrr. :headache: :headache: THEN... just when I fell asleep somewhere around 5 ish Abby came in our room and said she heard something outside. :headache: :headache: :headache: I wasn't very nice, I'm afraid, and I sent her back to bed by herself. Normally I'd get up and take her back and assure that there was no boogie man or anything but I was just so tired. And then the next thing I knew it was 6 and time to get her back up for school. So...............

GOOD NIGHT! :cloud9:

I'm sorry you had a rough night Love. Hate when things like that keep me awake. Although I don't have children....I have experienced the dog thing. Many Many times. Hope you got some good rest the following night. :goodvibes

They put her in the wrong band class. Second year in a row.

Oh man, I had that happen to me when I was in high school too a couple of times. Was always a pain! Hope they get it straightened out. :thumbsup2

Awww...don't feel that way  Is everything ok?

I'm okay...dealing with friend problems and it's stressing me out

Just thinking about going to bed and being done with it!

I'm sorry you're still dealing with friend issues Betsy

Michele - I just watched the video in your siggy. How beautiful and peaceful is that :faint: I loved seeing the rainbow that was in the lower right hand corner. I wish I could be there right now!

I remember the day we brought DD home from the hospital there was a double rainbow. I had never seen one until that day and it is something I will never forget it!

wow you had never seen a rainbow until you brought your DD home from the hospital? That must be a very cool memory for sure :goodvibes

I know. I feel the same way. Sorry I disappeared lastnight, I was having trouble with my internet connection. :confused3

Oh I feel your pain on internet issues. Hope you got it resolved.

glad everyone though it was cool...I'll tell another one here in a bit.

That is totally crazy! My Grandma's husband also had a dream in which she came to him and said he didn't have to worry, that between his family and her family, he'd be taken care of (he has trouble getting around and stuff so she always took care of him)

awww, that is nice that he had that dream. And I'm sure everyone is and will take care of him with how loved your grandmother seems to have been. :goodvibes

Here's something else that happened.

My mom got a few things from my Grandma's apartment....one being a beautiful angel clock to put in her curio. John told her he wasn't sure if it even worked. My mom put in a new battery, and it still wasn't working. So she flipped the battery around thinking she had it in the wrong way. Still nothing. She tried another battery, flipped it around too. Nothing. She messed with it for 10 minutes trying to get it to work and it just wasn't doing a thing. So she said "Well, I guess I'm gonna have to get rid of it." Immediately after she spoke those words, it started ticking. :goodvibes

Wow!! That's so freaking awesome!! Go Grandma power making the clock work!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Yeah Kacy is pretty ticked off. It happened last year and she was in the wrong band class for almost a month and the councelor kept giving her the run around. Finally the band teacher sent her with a couple of other bigger male band members to see the councelor and the class was immediately changed.

oh man! I'm sure she was so angry last year too. Go band teacher though for being smart and sending those other band students to help Kacy get the problem fixed. Hopefully this year it doesn't take that long
