I'm amazed at how much I'm enjoying this show compared to Idol

Me too, I wish I gave The Voice a chance last year.

I agree with everyone else about Raelynn. I don't know anything about Blake and what kind of singers he prefers, but even if he likes the quirky, doesn't he want someone on his team that can actually sing well? Isn't the point at the end to have a winner? I felt so bad for Adley. I think of the night she was in the top 3 with Jessie and Anthony. Everyone else could have gone home

The winner in the second group (Ray---leen, Ray----lynn, Ray-----whatever) could not hit a note with a stick.

How could you put that through when the other girl (I am terrible at remembering names) sounded great and could even stay on key despite the other girl starting - and made their harmonies sound good.
WTH?

WHY?????? Why do I have that stupid "Ironic" song stuck in my head today?????? I don't care that much for Alanis and of all the songs they sang last night I keep hearing "isn't it ironic" over and over in my head.

he was just completely enamored with Xenia last year and i thought she was terrible.

I absolutely detest that song! Why? Because nothing she lists is "Ironic" it really is just bad timing and bad luck.

I felt bad for Jordis because I know from Rock Star INXS that she is an amazing singer. That song didn't do her justice, and it also threw her off when they dropped the song down a key ( if that's what it's called) for the guy who she was singing with...

So far, not that impressed. And I don't agree with some of the eliminations -- I thought Adley should have stayed, not Rae Lynn (who does she remind me of? Not sure if it's Miranda Lambert, but somebody).

Maybe they saved the best duets for last?

I forgot about her. But really, it will be fun to watch her get blown out of the water. Then again, they'll probably put her through.

Makes me miss Elenowen. I honestly believe they were stoned the entire time.

i want to see Juliet Sims (team Cee Lo) and Lindsey Pavao (team Christina) make it to the live shows. I love them both, even though they are both so different. I downloaded Lindsey's audition song from itunes, and while I don't particularly like the song I love to hear her sing it because her voice is so beautiful.

I have a question for anyone who may know. My family did not watch last season so we are new to the show. How do the battle rounds work with the "duo" teams? Do they always compete as a duo? Is the battle then 2 against 1? I seem to remember at least 2 duos making it through the first round. The country guy/girl and then the 2 guy rock band.

Thanks to anyone who knows. I know I could wait and find out next week, but I am not a patient person.

Last season, the duos competed as duos. It was 2-against-one, but it didn't really matter. As I remember, one duo got through (Tory and Taylor -- two sisters) and one did not (Elenowen -- husband and wife).

I will agree with you on RaeLynn. But I think that she brought more originality to the song than Miss Stump who just sang the song as written and I felt didn't connect with the song. Also, last year one of Blake's final singers was the youngest on the show. So maybe he is going for the youngest again. And she really does have the farthest to come.

I will have to disagree with you on Chris vs. Tony. I think vocally they were a fair match, but the faces Chris kept making were driving me nuts. Not even while he was singing- the faces he kept making at the audience when Tony was singing was just kind of weird. i would love to see Tony do well- just to prove that someone NORMAL could come from being a teenage Disney star. They don't have a very good track record thus far- Xtina, Britney, Miley.
