US Only.A 10k Disney pass…. Wow…. #goals

I mean if the a both coasts pass is $3500 by itself, how much is unlimited Multipass & Singlepass worth?

We have been doing WDW and DL in the same trip for the last decade+ and have never bought the dual WDW&DL annual pass, ever. It was always cheaper to buy tickets or the WDW AP and DL tickets separately. I don't think the pass is missed. For it to work out you really needed to frequent Disneyland a lot.I wish they still sold a bi-coastal one. It's something I'd consider, depending upon the price. In 2025, we'll be doing 6 park days at WDW and 5 park days at DLR. It gets expensive.
Yeah, I remember that pass and discussions around it, and it seemed like it worked best for very frequent DL visitors who also wanted a week at WDWWe have been doing WDW and DL in the same trip for the last decade+ and have never bought the dual WDW&DL annual pass, ever. At 6 and 5 days respectively you would have paid more for that pass.

NM, I reread it. $10k AFTER the buy in. As in the c33 dues are $10k.Well club33 is llpp. That's $10k after initial buyin

Maybe because Sundays are Oogie-Boogie nights? Is there a reason studios are all booked on Sundays in September?
I really hate the Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday thing…. can they PLEASE do something on a non-school night!Maybe because Sundays are Oogie-Boogie nights?
I once went to OBB on a Saturday night. Though it was a special one as part of a D23 Expo. But yes, Saturday night would be nice because sometimes we go for just a long weekend (believe it or not, given we live in NCI really hate the Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday thing…. can they PLEASE do something on a non-school night!
Someone left the left side of the calendar blank so they could get a Tetris if an 'I' piece showed up.Is there a reason studios are all booked on Sundays in September?
TBH it's likely people who rent out confirmed reservations snagging all the Sundays to rent out due to oogie boogie. Is there a reason studios are all booked on Sundays in September?
Yeah, there is a west coast DVC properties Facebook rental group that does a lot of this garbage—the admins of the group are clearly all mini commercial renters and post in lots of rental groups.TBH it's likely people who rent out confirmed reservations snagging all the Sundays to rent out due to oogie boogie.
Commercial use of DVC is supposed to be prohibited. Really wish they would enforce this. I have rented points I cannot use, but in no way is it a business. Seems like a FB group that caters to commercial renters would be a good place to start cleaning this mess up. I just don't think DVC has the stomach for imposing stiff rules or pissing off commercial owners of thousands of points and the resources to tie up all the highly desirable reservations.Yeah, there is a west coast DVC properties Facebook rental group that does a lot of this garbage—the admins of the group are clearly all mini commercial renters and post in lots of rental groups.
Edit: There are also probably some legit owners using the reservations for themselves but booking multiple days since it’s hard to get Oogie Boogie tickets.
My theory is that they are interested in cleaning it up as resort bookings weaken (I think this is more true at WDW), but they want to try to sell as much VDH, RIV, and especially PVB, before the risk tanking the resale market by cracking down on commercial renters. I would love to see a strict crackdown on commercial renters, but I would settle for rules that make it very hard to rent reservations made outside the 7m window.Commercial use of DVC is supposed to be prohibited. I would settle for a rule where you cannot modify a reservation. You have to cancel it and then reserve it again, after waitlist people have a chance. Would only effect a very small number of non commercial renters and not cause a hardship on the rest of us. I agree with your theory, however, I do not think DVC is all that interested in the resale market, but could be wrong there. My theory is that they are interested in cleaning it up as resort bookings weaken (I think this is more true at WDW), but they want to try to sell as much VDH, RIV, and especially PVB, before the risk tanking the resale market by cracking down on commercial renters. Exactly - as long as hotel occupancy remains high; Disney will have no interest in policing DVC activities. They know that renting out happens and very much okay with it as renters probably have a much higher spend rate compared to long term DVCers -- especially those weeklong stays at WDW.My theory is that they are interested in cleaning it up as resort bookings weaken (I think this is more true at WDW), but they want to try to sell as much VDH, RIV, and especially PVB, before the risk tanking the resale market by cracking down on commercial renters. I found getting oogie boogie tickets for the date I wanted to be very easy.Edit: There are also probably some legit owners using the reservations for themselves but booking multiple days since it’s hard to get Oogie Boogie tickets.
