I finally got through to add my cc onto my automated reservation and the confirmation # didn't change. Hopefully it's all good. They did have to run the cc through for $.01~ ridiculous.
What a mess. I hope that everyone still trying can get through without any further problems, and to anyone spending a lot of time and not be able to get a reservation.

i've been trying since 6am with 3 alarm clocks set and 2 cell phones calling repeatedly till we got an agent who told us about 30 minutes ago that BOG is completely booked through the end of December!!!!!

Totally agree with you! Beyond frustrated. Have been trying all morning and all I could get was "all circuits are busy" or a busy signal. Now I find out everything for my December week is booked! Guess I'll be watching online for cancellations.... Disney has to realize how disappointing this is for us. It takes a lot to get me upset with Disney.

Just called back on using the US Guest Information line (407 939 6244) and got straight through, no busy signal. On hold now, of course, waiting for an agent to add my CC#.

If you're STILL trying to get through, maybe try that number?

It has to go to the dining number...because only a dining/guest services supervisor can actually fix it the right way.

Just got off the phone with a very nice Guest Services CM. I called back b/c mine had no credit card and was on hold for about 1/2 hour for regular dining. She knew exactly what I was talking about and said Guest Services had to do it so she would get me on the line with them. Had to wait quite a while for Guest Services and she took care of it. I was issued a new confirmation number.

I asked if adding the credit card was required and she said yes and that the system will automatically do a report and cxl all without credit cards. I asked what about all those poor people that don't know and she said they are compiling a list and will be trying to get in touch with everyone b/f they are cxld. Good luck everyone!

Finally!! I waited for 30 minutes and got a super sweet CM, but she couldn't get my cc# to attach. So I waited again and spoke to another awesome CM and he had to cancel my reservation and rebook it. I asked if that was ok since there were no times left that day and he said he absolutely wouldn't let me lose my ADR. So I have a new ADR with a new confirmation for the same date. Whew!! What a morning!!!!

I got a nice CM named "Errol". He said there's two ways to fix it:

Guest Services/Dining Supervisors can do it "the right way". This results in a new confirmation number (it is NOT a cancel and rebook, FYI...you can't LOSE your ressie..but it works pretty much the same way) begin generated.

CM's have been putting a minimal charge through on your CC, which "attaches" it to the ADR. This is a work around, and not all CM's are willing (or know how) to do it. This would result in your Confirmation number staying the same.

I can't edit my previous post since I am on my phone, but the second CM was from guest services, so maybe the people still trying can try ti bypass and ask for guest services?

Also, I asked and he did say that everyone without a cc guarantee would be cancelled tonight. He said they were working to fix it. That is just horrible!

How are you guys even getting into the queue to make a reservation. HOURS of nothing but busy signals or 'all circuits are busy.'

My dates are early on. I'm sure they are gone.

They're just putting you through to guest services, as far as the front line DVC CM's know.

I JUST talked to a CM at DVC (about something else) and asked. That's the plan to fix it (which is what most of the front line dining folks are doing, too) for those calling the DVC member number.

It probably WILL help with the initial 25 minute hold, though...you'll only be waiting for a guest services supervisor.

She said they started doing that about 30 min ago.
