Finally got through using the disabilities line, of course, I have to get the person who cannot do anything, and I mean nothing. Not one date I have would come up and I had her check, Nov 27- Dec 7. This stinks!! Very disappointed in Disney for not opening up online booking, but, congrats to all that actually got a reservation.

Know people don't want to hear it, but I was also told that reservations without a cc# attached will be automatically dropped in the system. I booked mine through the automated system, too. Didn't feel complete to me, though. When I finally got an agent, she put me on hold to double check, said, yes, she needed a credit card to hold it. Told me it would be automatically cancelled in their system with no credit card. When she attached my credit card to the reservation, it produced a new 12 digit confirmation number. I told her that Disney needs to know about this is happening with the automated system and since they have contact info, they need to contact people before canceling reservations with no cc#. Who knows that they'll listen to me, though. With all the time everyone has put into this, if there is anyway to make certain you have a complete reservation I would.

I am very jealous of those of you who can stay on hold indefinitely. Unfortunately, after over 2.5 hours of "All circuits are busy now, please try again" I now must go to work or it won't matter if I get a reservation because I won't have a salary to pay for my trip. Wonder how long it will take for all available slots to completely book up?

To be fair...that's probably Standard Operating Procedure (to cancel CC hold ressies without a CC# attached).

That being said...I'm sure SOMEONE around there has realized that the automated system isn't asking for a CC# and there are a LOT of folks using it to make their ressies.

So they'll probably run a quick query on the DB, get a list of names and phone numbers on ressies without CC#'s, and initiate some robo phone calls (likely automated, stay on the line to speak to an agent, type calls). It's not hard to do.

And NOT doing it would be a CS nightmare, I think.

If you're worried, be proactive and call THEM later today (mid-afternoon). I'm sure they can help out.

I'm planning on calling once the chaos end and give them my number, I don't want ANYTHING to happen to that reservation!

OK, so as far as we know....

Nov 19th, and 25th are completely booked.
And possibly Nov 29th thru Dec. 7th...except for Dec. 3rd

Keep in mind that on mvmcp dates, they are not accepting ADR's after 5:30 so be prepared to accept an earlier time. Wonder what time they open for dinner? Anyone know?

My ADR is for 4:05 pm. I asked for the earliest time available.

I had to give a cc#. It was required for my reservation. I spoke with dining reservations not the auto dial.

I didn't give a cc# via the automated system, so I'm going to wait until this afternoon and try to call them and add it. December 2nd and 5th are all booked up. The only thing we could find is 4:15 on the 9th and we can't eat that early. What a waste of almost 3 hours

After waiting an hour on hold I had to hang up to go drive my kids to camp. I couldn't get through on the main number when I got back, so I tried DVC and got through that way. I got the date and time I wanted. Party of 10 for dinner on Jan 3. The DVC hold time was about 10 minutes.
