The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

:rotfl2:

I can honestly tell you that I will be sound asleep no matter what day it is. If we are lucky enough to have it open for our Oct/Nov dates, we would do lunch. ADRs are a waste for us. We can eat steak anytime, we can only ride PoTC 9 days a year. :rotfl:

Ditto for us! And if we don't fit it in to our Nov trip, they will still be serving meals there when we go in the winter... :thumbsup2

Please!!!!! I hope his information was accurate! I am so hoping for a ressie for my birthday!!! (November 10) I will try to not get my hopes up BUT that is now like impossible!!!

Thanks for sharing!

We will be eating at Boma the night of Nov 10! I will send you pixiedust: and Happy Birthday wishes that day!

Just read on the food blog about the opening....."For Disney World, the 'holiday season' means anywhere between mid-November to the end of December". But you never know, if they're ready early I'm sure they'll open early.

They also showed a photo of the cast member's costumes at Gaston's!:thumbsup2 http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2012/...restaurant-gastons-tavern-in-new-fantasyland/

Loved the story and seeing the awesome dessert in MK near the new section too! Thanks for posting!

Hello all. I have been searching the internet for info on when the new FLE will be opening, including BOG. This site keeps popping up, and it seems most everyone on here is just as excited and impatiently waiting as I am. I just wanted to tell everyone that I spoke to Disney Dining this morning, and the woman there told me that they were told that BOG would be opening at the very latest by the beginning of November. Here's to praying she is right, as that will give us a chance to go. Hope this helps some people who are going after that date as well.

I'm waiting too anxiously too. My DD7 will be dancing in the taped version of the holiday parade:cool1: Would love for this to be our last meal in the world on Dec 2nd since we really cant make ressies the whole trip due to her rehersal schedule.

I just spoke with reservations and was told that they will start taking reservations on 8/28.:hourglass

Oh cool! Congrats. My DD just made the 8yr age limit by 6 weeks! We have booked Rainforest for our first Day but have no idea what our schedule will be like to book any more. Have you heard anything or know what the parents time off will be? I would love to schedule a lunch w DH but have no clue when to do so :(. We figure after 5 on sunday is a safe bet for ressie as we were told we had to remain at WDW til 4 that day in case it rains Sat. If you book Sunday night we might see you @ BOG!

Walt Disney World annual passholders will be among the first to see the latest attractions as part of a special preview event for New Fantasyland. Though Disney previously indicated the Be Our Guest restaurant and The Little Mermaid ride would open in time for “holidays 2012,” the passholder web site now reveals a limited-attendance preview will take place in November.

Though specifics of this special preview have not yet been revealed, it does establish a firmer timeline as to when sections of New Fantasyland will be opening. Disney Cast Member previews are also scheduled for late November.

From the Walt Disney World passholder web site:

Be among the first to experience the enchantment of New Fantasyland during a special Passholder Preview in November 2012! Upon completion, Fantasyland will nearly double in size – for the largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom Park.

Registration details are coming soon and will be communicated via email and here on the Passholder website. Event capacity is limited, so be sure to watch for these updates! Valid Magic Kingdom Theme Park admission is required to attend this event.

Only passholders can log in to access that section of the Walt Disney World web site.

It’s likely (though not announced or guaranteed) that public soft openings for New Fantasyland will also take place in November, with a full opening arriving just in time for the Christmas season.

The rest of the New Fantasyland expansion, including Princess Fairytale Hall and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster, won’t open until 2013 and 2014, respectively.

Nice to have something concrete! Thanks for posting. November? Maybe there will be a soft opening before the preview for those of you going earlier.

As a passholder that was disappointed in the way they did the AP preview for Carsland I am going to assume my husband who doesn't have a pass wouldn't be able to go with me even though I do... :sad1: I think we have a 10% shot at getting to see this on our trip since we leave on the 11th so next time. :)

Both great news! I know it's still not concrete, just because a phone CM said it ;) , but the last official Disney post did say late Aug for ressies. :thumbsup2

Interesting news:

Looks like a passholder preview of the area some time in November...which means I would guess BOG would officially open either very late in November or very early in December.

Well, I know the first day (Thursday) the girls will have rehearsal from 8:30-1:30 (which I believe includes a luncheon for them). That might be a good day, go to an early lunch then snag her after! I'm told the actual full MK parade (not taping) will take place that day starting at 2:30.

The other days we won't know times until 2 weeks out! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Booking for April in October. Glad I know I'll get in, but feel so bad for all of you on the edge of your seats! Good luck to all.
