Ditto, for us, for the past 2 trips we've taken.

5:56 for our first trip.

6:02 for this upcoming trip (in December).

For this trip, our only challenge was that they were holding tables at Epcot restaurants for CP. You couldn't get any availability...but it would do the search for us 180 (+10) out.

I didn't think you could make ADRs online 180 +10. I thought you had to call to do the +10. How did you do it?

You just have to make sure to link your reservation number to the online system. As long as it recognizes you as a resort guest online, you can book the 180 + 10.

Let's say your first day of say is December 15. 180 days out you could make reservations for December 15 - but not the 16th. Which means you would have to get up every single day to make reservations for your trip. But, if you are a resort guest, then 180 days prior to your FIRST day, you can make reservations for your WHOLE trip (up to 10 days of it). Does that make more sense?

If you are staying more than 10 days, you can book 180+10 on day 180. You can book your 11th day the following day (179) the 12th day the next day..... and so on.

Barring doing that before hand, the first time you TRY to make a 180 + 10 ADR (ex: A ressie that's 181 days past your check in date), it asks you for a ressie number. Input it, click OK, and you're set.

It means you can make your ADR's 180 days from your check in date, for up to 10 days of your vacation.

Just took a picture of your post on my phone so I would remember how you said to do it. I usually link my reservation to my account online just for my own gratification. Love to see it. I've just never used it to do the 180+10 before.

Yup- I've also had very good luck w/180+10. I know not everyone has been so fortunate and I recall hearing that some of the glitches are often associated with DVC reservations.

I guess I'll at least be well within 180 days should BoG be open for any of our dates. Unfortunately, that's the key reason why I think the system is going to crash...you've got a heavily anticipated restaurant opening during the busiest time of year well inside the 180 mark. So, assuming (wishful thinking ) it opens in the week leading up to Thanksgiving to hit the first of the big crowds...the system will have to handle everyone and their mother who is going from then until spring break. Not trying to be alarmist- just thinking about the logisitics of it all.

Of course- I'm trying to use a sports perspective on trying to get ADRs come the time..."you can't win if you don't play the game."

I mean, it isn't as if I was up all night at our Relay For Life Event and got home at 2 am and set my alarm for 6 am just to try to make reservations.....no, that would be a silly thing to do......just sayin'

CM said end of August but I'm sure to be checking at least every other day via website. Don't you think it would be available on the website the same time it's available via phone? While I was on the phone the sweet CM transferred me to reservations where I added the park hopper back on to my package. We'll need it for the Dessrt Wishes package I'll want to add on once December packages are available. Oh, and while I had her on the phone I inquired about free dining starting on dec. 9th (sure would make my life easier)

We are DVC members..and 180+10 has worked for us, on line, for every trip we've taken since on-line booking launched.

There was a bug at launch that caused issues (and maybe there have been more that we've not run into) but they fixed it RIGHT before our first 180 day mark post launch.

That's good to know. My friend was looking and was getting scared b/c of the booking issues. Glad to hear it's been resolved.

As for checking the website each day...considering the sheer magnitude of the FLE and the mega press event this is going to become (and already is), I truly doubt ADRs for BoG would magically appear on the site w/o some formal notification at least a few days in advance.

Think about it this way...giving opening ADR dates for BoG is essentially telling the public when this phase of FLE is set to open to the public. Quietly adding ADRs to the site would essentially be a leak of this info. With the $$$$ spent, it would be a major marking blunder to just allow ADRs for this to quietly show up online.

I'm sure that when they're ready to let us know-the reputable sources will post that there is a big FLE announcement at whatever time on whatever date... and then, and only then will we know for certain. So, I'm guessing at some point within the next 3 or so weeks- we'll get some more definitive answers.

What this also says to me is that they really aren't 100% on an opening date for the public. The passholder invitation just says November - so that says to me that they still have a number of things up in the air and they aren't really set yet on the true opening date.
