According to a comment on the blog, it appears this will not require a CC hold. I guess I'm really surprised by this. I know the demand is there, but with so many people wanting these spots, you'd think they'd really want to be sure that everyone shows up.

Yeah- I'm pretty shocked about this. I'm wondering if they'll revisit that.

As for 90 vs 180...I don't really think they're looking at any of that. It just seems to logical. Seriously though, I think they're just going to open things up when they're ready to make a formal annoucement. I guess at least August 4th is a Saturday...I can wake up bright and early and then crawl back into bed...hopefully happy! Now if only they'd release room discounts for our dates...then I'd be really happy!!!

Well, it's not a character experience, dinner show or signature dining either. I think from a systems crashing view this makes the most sense. Less info to gather plus less pages for people to click on. Quicker experience on the site for it should help, plus less frustrated customers if it times out while they are putting their info in!

Yeah, but it's their rule, so I figured they could play fast and loose with it if they want. And honestly, I don't think they care one whit how hard it is to put our info in. If they cared, they woudln't announce a date ahead of time. They'd just quietly open it up one day when nobody's looking....... the spots will fill, whether it takes 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days.

OK, I totally see now how lunch is going to work.

We ate at our local Applebees for lunch today. We walked in and.......voila.......... a small computer kiosk was sitting on each table. It had touchpad with full menu, order screen, game screen to occupy the kids, a server call button and a slot to slide your card to pay, complete with roll of paper to print receipts.

The timing on this was funny because we had just been speculating about how BOG would operate. This seems very well suited to what they have in mind.

My family wasn't quite as fascinated with it all as I was......and I wouldn't have cared one whit if I hadn't been reading about BOG this past week.

This is how me and my mom think they will do it also! I have never seen this before but am exicted however they do it. I just hope we can get into it.

Subbing to get all the latest info! Don't know if anyone has seen yet, but the Disney Parks Blog has been updated with some pictures of the mosaics that are in BOG, and they look awesome! No more info about opening dates or ADR's though...just thought you guys might like to know (I'm using the iPad app so I'm not sure how to post a link using this, otherwise I would have)

I was at the doctor today and we discussed scheduling a c-section for my baby who is due to arrive at the end of the month. The doctor mentioned scheduling for August 4 and I thought oh no, I won't get a BoG reservation for our December trip!

BTW, not sure if this 100% correct, but I just got off the phone with a CM to make a reservation for a larger group and he told me that ADRs will be on Aug 4th and the opening date is in September.

I know the TS dinner is ONE credit using the DDP.....does anyone know of menu prices for BOG? I don't want to cancel any of my TS meal ADRs but I know I want to have both the CS and TS meals I'm just trying to figure out which of my TS meals will be the least expensive (counting BOG I will have 2 TS meals to pay out of pocket).

I heard Aug for ADRs as well, but I had not heard the opening for September yet! I hope this is true, I would love to eat there on our Oct trip!!!
