Thanks! I definitely have a backup plan or two. However, I think the whole phone system/hold problem will be worse than actually getting a reservation. Anytime online is not available an hour early is gonna be ugly.

I called earlier to get a reservation for Kona Cafe and to try the system out, and I kept getting, "That's Maya Grill, correct?"

I tried it out yesterday and I don't even remember the restaurant I requested but it asked about Maya Grill as well. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!

Here's the debate... Do you try for an agent or automated? Haha, seriously though. Part of me says automated, because then you don't deal with a hold... BUT, the cons of that are it may not be in the automated system yet, AND, if it is but your time is already taken, it'd be way more efficient to talk to an agent and let them know, okay, well, I'll take any of these days.

Cons of an agent are basically you'll be on hold forever, and potentially missing out on a reservation that could be done through the automated system.

Ohhhh boy, this should be very interesting!

Do you guys think that is the best route to go? When you talk to the automated system you key in information that links to your account so when the CM comes on she has your information in front of her and is ready to make the dining ressie. If we speak directly to a CM right from the beginning we still need to give that information before she can make the reservation.......

I wonder which will get us the reservations we want the fastest???
