I got 2 days of vacation approved! I'm so excited because my bf will be off for a whole week during that time. We plan to go to DL to celebrate my b-day early. I'm not sure what else we will do but we'll figure something out.

I went to 2 stores today to pay my bills in person. It was really easy and fast. I've never done that before and am so used to automated bill pay or writing checks. I stopped by the Disney Store and looked around. I saw that they have a talking Doug plush from the movie Up. I didn't buy anything but just browsed and then left.

On the way out of the mall, I had to use the restroom and the closest one was in Neiman Marcus. Not only was the store practically empty but I felt awkward walking around.....it was so quiet. I'm not sure why but the ambiance made me feel strange.....maybe it was because of the very high end and expensive things they had....Louis Vuitton store, Gucci Store, expensive clothes......one jacket I saw was on SALE for over $1,000!!! The original price was $3,000!!

I passed by a Tiffany store in the mall (it's close to Disney Store). It was pitch dark inside and they never seem to be open. I heard that they may have changed their hours to appointment only. I wouldn't shop there anyways but it's just weird that it's always closed when I'm in that mall.

Wow, how do you go about being a hair model? Sounds neat, but I wouldn't let them cut my hair, dye would be okay. I just dyed my hair an almost black color that looks a little red in the light. It's still wet so it looks really black but I'll see how it looks when it dries.

So I finally can say that I am a Disneyland Annual Pass Holder. I look so cheesey in my picture I have this huge smile because I was so excited. DBF and I went on Saturday for my birthday and then I went for a few hours on Sunday after I dropped him and his friend off at the Cruise ship. Now my mom wants an annual pass too so I am going to go with her on Friday night after I get off work and we are going to stay the night and go on Saturday.

It's so quiet and lonely at my house. Even my dog doesn't want to come in. We usually don't let him on the bed but I can't sleep when DBF is gone so I let him up last night. I'll just have to make sure I get all the dog hair off the blankets before DBF gets home .

I just got off the phone with DBF, it was only 56 degrees today. And he thought we was going to be strollling around in his flip flops and swim shorts the whole cruise. Tomorrow they stop in Oregon.

My bf and I were just texting each other. He recently bought the 16GB iPhone 3G. Well they announced that a new iPhone is coming out on June 19th. He called AT&T and they will allow him to exchange his phone for the new one. All he has to pay is a $20 re-stocking fee.

He has a cool program on his phone called Shazam. It's free and what it does is you run the program and hold your phone next to the radio or wherever music is playing. It will tell you who sings it and the name of the song. It's really cool and he tested it last weekend when we were in Aeropostle. I thought it was really neat. I just checked if they have it for my phone (Blackberry Storm) but they said it's "coming soon." Boo that!

It worked, and then it give you the option to purchase the full song or a ringtone version. Pretty neat!

Good morning everyone. It's freezing here today! I can't believe it's June, yesterday I wore my winter coat outside. What has happened to the sun?

On another note, I had an eyebrow wax appointment at 1 today but I couldn't remember the time so I called to ask and they told my lady isn't coming until five and I"ve been moved to another girl. Normally not a big deal except this is the second time it's happened and they don't bother to call to see if I would rather reschedule. And this girl I keep getting moved to is not very good. I think I should complain so it stops happening.

Alison, I'm with you on the heat! I can not stand to be cold. I'd rather be hot than cold. Soooooooooo that leaves me to my next post to Megan.

Megan, you set your thermo at 65?? Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ours is usually set at 68-70 at least!! And even then, I usually wear a fleece around the house, and have on my good ole Uggs!

*Melody- How are you? Nice to see ya! In regards to the iPhone, I would call the store it was purchased from to check it they allow an exchange.

*Christina- You should complain and maybe ask to speak to a manager. That's really poor customer service IMO. Who wants to have lousy service performed on them when one's eyebrows or hair is at stake?

It's a bit busy today at work but not too bad at the moment. I'm eating a snack mix from Harry & David and drinking Sobe Energy. This morning I lugged a huge bag filled with VHS tapes. My co-worker only has a VHS player on her TV and no DVD player. I told her if she liked, I would give her all my VHS tapes. She was really excited when I gave it to her this morning. I just have no use for them and have tried to donate them in the past but they wouldn't accept it. I don't think anyone would buy them. I was considering taking them to Amoeba in Hollywood but it's a bit far and they don't give you much at all.

On having an AP! I have a socal one, thanks to my ID from last year I wish they had the monthly pay when we lived there darn it, smart business idea in a cruddy economy.

We are putting the final touches together for E's trip. Making sure to pack all that he needs for the two weeks for dialysis, clothes, and all the little essentials (shampoo, soap , etc) as he is staying in a dorm not a hotel.


Neither one of us will sleep for two weeks, sniffle sniffle.
The cat already sleeps, on top of me, in the bed.
Today I made the bed, noticed a lump.. poke.. mewrrrrrrrr? poke..mewwrrr?

Spent yesterday arguing with clinics and puzzling over his idiot nurse
His nurse spazzed when E told him he won't be doing his labs for the two weeks..

nurse's response "well I'm sure you can use someone's refrigerator" (to store the bloods until they get shipped).



sure, let me put it next to someone's leftover chinese food and haul a centrifuge, ice packs, mailing supplies, tubes, vacutainers, heck why don't I just move in?

We have a Neiman Marcus and a SAK's downtown, I speed thru both when walking thru the skyways in the winter time.

We valet park at the heated garage attached to Neiman Marcus, all the snow boogers fall off our car while we happily walk around without coats. Costs just the same as the other parking lots/ garages

I read somewhere that Tiffany's expanded too quickly, made some mistakes and now face big losses.

Hmmm...Tiffany & Co. expanding too quickly could possibly be the reason why the store I see is almost always closed. My bf's mom was asking about it too. Sometimes she goes to the mall just to walk around and browse and she said that she noticed it was always closed.


I hope your DH has a good trip and that Polly does not take over his side of the bed!

WOOHOO!!! I just booked Blue Bayou for me and my bf. I also called the GCH and explained that I got a $20 voucher towards meals last month and that I can't make it down until the day after it expires. They told me to just go back and give them the old one and explain that I couldn't come down earlier and they will happily issue me a new one.
