With 4 National Championships,a string of #1 recruiting classes,2 Heisman Trophy winners, etc. over the last 7 years, does the rest of the college football world absolutely HATE the Tide?

A lot of "experts" are saying the 4 NCs have clearly pushed Alabama to being the most successful football team in college football history.

What do you think?

How will you feel if they make it 5 NCs in 8 years in 2016?

The people that talk to me about it think that they cheat. So they don't seem to hate Alabama. They just want them to get caught.

For me? I really couldn't care less. And I live in Alabama.

This is coming in at around a 9.8 on a 0-10 :stir: scale.

I'm an avid Auburn fan that married into a Bama family. I don't ever remember "hating" Alabama but I know what you're talking about. I actually support Alabama as long as they're not playing AU. ;)

War Eagle and Roll Tide!:cheer2:

USC did have the best program until the NCAA handed down the second worst penalty in NCAA history for something involving one player outside of school with no involvement by the school, coaches, teachers or any booster. Meanwhile schools hire prostitutes, players from welfare families buy new cadillacs, schools offer dummy no attendance required classes, players pet paid by boosters, players sell 4000 autographs, players ask for $200,000 signing bonuses and get virtually no penalty at all. Yes we are a little bitter

That's not true. Items 3 and 4 on the list against the football program don't involve that player, and one was specifically about hiring an extra coach about the NCAA allotment. Also, an associate athletic director arranged internships and jobs at a sports marketing company for 3 players, and someone in compliance knew about that. It's a violation to arrange special treatment like that, they need to be internships that are publicly available. Didn't the other schools self-penalize? The basketball program self-imposed a 1 year post season ban and it was accepted.

Nick Saban is a great football coach.

As a loyal Georgia Bulldawg, I have a healthy level of hate for Alabama, but on the whole I am proud of the high quality of football played in our conference -- and I'll always like Bama more than Auburn or Florida, lol

I reserve my most extreme levels of football hatred for obnoxious, jealous, loudmouths like Jim Harbaugh ;p

I live in Louisiana, so of course I hate them ;) Geaux Tigers!

But seriously, for me personally, I find Nick Saban to be so arrogant that I do admit to snickering when the Tide gets rolled

Hate 'Bama? Nah. It's a pretty good state flagship school. In the SEC, we are actually very big on conference loyalty, so when your own team isn't playing, it's usual to root for everyone else in the SEC in non-conference play.

Hate Saban.? Oh, you bet. He's an arrogant, backstabbing piece of work who has never had an honest thought in his life that didn't involve self-aggrandizement.

Geaux Tigers!

Not to pick nits but NCAA recognizes Alabama with 12 championships

Fight ON!
SC in my opinion got screwed!

Don't hate Bama.
Georgia Tech fan here.

OJ Mayo, who rode a bicycle did get a color TV from a friend so he could watch the NBA games, how did Alabama self penalize for flukers and Richardsons (new) caddies, USC took a big hit for reggie bushes 10 year old chevy. And how did auburns self impose for Cam or TAM for Manziel.

And you forgot to mention the euro womens tennis player who made a long distance phone call on the office phone, that was a major part of the investigation. Why worry about 20 years of fixing exams when their is a long distance phone call to investigate

Just and update, the USC asst coach who the NCAA fabricated evidence about still has the lawsuit going thru the courts and the NCAA will be paying him some big money

That they're a 5th rate school. I mainly care about academics. Football is secondary.

USC fans have a right to be more than a little bitter. The assistant coach the NCAA burned and the supposed basis for the worst penalty since SMU is clobbering them in his lawsuit. Expect a huge push by the NCAA to settle it. The NCAA totally changed the definition of booster to get USC. Then they totally changed it again to let Auburn off the hook.

HAHA now that is the attitude LSU fans are supposed to have. Could you imagine Ohio St. fans actually rooting for Michigan? Heck no!!! Can you imagine USC fans rooting for UCLA? Heck No!!! And rightfully not.

What did the average Alabama football player get on the SAT?
Drool!
HAHA!!! ZING!! On a more serious note, there was a study on this. Alabama didn't provide data for the study. I wonder why?

I love football but I've never understood being a passionate fan of a college team that you didn't attend and yet some of these fans couldn't care less about the strides the university may be making off the field....

Well places like Alabama don't have a pro team. So Alabama and Auburn are the de-facto pro teams. Their players don't like the pay cut they have to take when they go to the NFL either.
