I'm not sure the average Alabama football player can even spell SAT....

HAHA now that is the attitude LSU fans are supposed to have. Could you imagine Ohio St. fans actually rooting for Michigan? Heck no!!! Can you imagine USC fans rooting for UCLA? Heck No!!! And rightfully not.

The SEC is an odd conference -- where they think that it's all for one and all for one....they are pretty much the only conference where most of the schools seem to root for each other to win NCs and the like.

I'm in the heart of Big 10 territory (apparently counting isn't a strength of the B10) -- and in no way would a real IU fan root for Purdue.....Ohio St for Michigan and so on. A fan of tOSU wants Michigan to go 0-12 every year.....not to win a national title.

In the last 7 years? That is quite the accomplishment.

Well if Alabama gets to count a national title from 1941 when they had two losses and were ranked #20, the NCAA gets to count 12 for the last 7 years.

I don't have a strong opinion about Alabama although if they violate NCAA rules as much as some claim they should get the same penalty as SMU. I reserve my hatred for A&M for ditching the rest of the Texas schools to join the SEC and for the drunk Oklahoma fans who keep trying to start fights when they play at our school. I consider it karma that my team is now doing better than A&M since they've always thought they were better than us.

Down in Baton Rouge, you come in from Texas via I-10. The exit for LSU is at Acadian Thruway. There used to be an Aggie joke that said that the Aggies were on their way to town for the game when they saw the sign there that said LSU LEFT ... "so they turned around and went home." Unfortunately, the joke doesn't scan that way, because the exit is a left turn only if you are coming from the direction of New Orleans. (I think it was originally meant to be an anti-Tulane joke.)
