Hey, hey, the gang's all here!

I'm off to LA (that's Los Angeles, not Louisiana... ) tomorrow, err, this morning, it's after midnight here... to see a new endocrinologist. I'm really nervous, so any good thoughts you could spare would be great.

I do think we need a Unicorn Club on facebook. Let go for it! We can work on it tomorrow... I'll be in LA around noon PST. Then I'm headed to the hotel for some much needed rest.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be hitting Disneyland. Not enough time or money. If it weren't so doggone expensive, I'd go tomorrow, but I couldn't justify $90 for one day. Sigh.

Soon, I'll be signing on from sunny LA!!!

Wow, Facebook, I had a Facebook when Facebook first came out. Haven't been on since but IF we all make one then I guess I'll have to join back up (although I really don't want to be "friends" with all the people I knew in High School and College ).

Thanks! I'm in Beverly Hills at the Crown Plaza. Not sure what I did, but I'm sure getting treated well. I'm up on the club level and got a nice fruit/cheese/cracker platter in my room this afternoon. Loving it! Loving it! The doctors office is just about a 1/2 block away. Rodeo Drive is 4-5 blocks away, so I guess I'll wander down there tomorrow. I really wanted to go to the 'Land, but it's just not cost effective. By the time I paid for the bus, park ticket w/park hopper, and rented an ECV I was going to be up to $180!!!!!!!!!!! So, I guess I'll go try on Jimmy Choo's instead.... ha ha ha ha ha At least this way I know that I won't miss my appointment. With my luck the bus would be late and I'd miss my appointment...

I'm going to go make a Unicorn Club on Facebook later tonight. Right now, I think I'll either go to Cold Stone Creamery or Pinkberry. Not sure which yet. Probably Pinkberry since we don't have those at home, but we do have a Cold Stone.

Well, we'll all come here and party when the tumor's out of my head. That way when they ask me after surgery what I'm going to do next, I can officially say I'm going to Disney World! or Disneyland!

The best news would be we're sending you to surgery, but I have a feeling he's going to say more testing, which honestly, I'm OK with since he's a new doc for me.

He is convinced that I have Cushing's Disease, but needs me to do a few more tests 'cause he can't actually diagnose me off someone else's ordered tests. It looks like, if all goes well... I'll be having brain surgery in the next 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh. I have to be up in 2.5 hours to catch a plane home. Hugs to everyone for all the good thoughts. I really think they helped!

julez and rora- Yes. This weekis much too long. On my only day off, Sunday, I get to do homework and way overdue laundry!
tigger- I wish they'd hire more people, but now a lady is going on maternity leave! I work a double today, too, 12 straight hours!

Looked in the kids' Scholastic book order form and there is a new BSC club book in there! It is the first one, but in graphic novel form. Carzy, huh? I might have to get it for dd!
