MinnieMe- Yes. I wanted to stay in bed. Yesterday was a LOOOONG day after setting the clocks back...

Syrreal- Yay! Tell us all about it when you get back. I have such bad Disney withdrawels right now....you know the kind... punching in imaginary trip dates to the Disney website in anticipation of a mystery future trip.... hating work....


So... I found out my work has a job posting for a job I want. It was posted last Thursday. It'll pay less hourly but include incentive pay- which might bring it up to par. Also, the hours are M-F, no weekends (currently every other Sat. w/Thur/Sun off) and better yet- it's the job I've always wanted to do! I ended up in my career quite on accident and I'd love to get back on track. Wish me luck everyone! Now I have to pull together a resume & put in the application. Haven't done that in over 2 years. Ugh.

Tommorow is ELECTION DAY! I'll leave out my persuasion but want to urge all our members and lurkers to get our there and VOTE! Especially if you never havve- it's an awesome feeling. I'm 31 and this is my 3rd presidential election.

I agree with Rora. Honugirl, your positive attitude is really inspiring. We need more people like you in this world.

I'm going to look for a unicorn tie tack to wear too. So if anyone knows where to get one of those, let me know...

Oh boy, I had such a good horse ride this morning. It felt sooooo good to be back on a horse. I've been offered a lease on a horse so that I can ride about 3 times a week instead of just one. I'll also be able to show the horse! Yay!!!!!!!

Thanks Julezdisney, I do believe you are correct. I think it was Elizabeth that rode in several of the books. I went to go look at the covers, it was in the Sweet Valley Twins books for sure. I didn't remember the Unicorn Club books????? Apparently there are some????? I'm going to have to go to the library now. Too bad it's election day, the auditor's office is right next to the library so maybe I'll have to wait until tomorrow... Good luck on the job hunt! I hope you get it, it sounds like a great opportunity.

Thanks Tiggerfan! You really do have to stay positive, if you don't, it makes recovery that much harder. I love the unicorn tie tack, I think I may be ordering that... After all, it's all about fashion!

Unicorn DIS meet 2010!!!!

Rora- My family and I are planning to go to a Native American championship powwow this weekend. I've been to a powwow before and I really enjoyed it, so I'm really looking forward to going to this one.

Unicorn DIS meet 2010!!!!

Rora- My family and I are planning to go to a Native American championship powwow this weekend. I've been to a powwow before and I really enjoyed it, so I'm really looking forward to going to this one.

First, a DIS meet gets like a bazillon , IMO. It'd be really cool if we actually went.. All decked out in purple and some lime green. Whew! Get ready Mickey!

Powwows are really cool. I remember going to many powwows when I was little (we are Cherokee). Have a great time!!

Thanks Tiggerfan! I'm very excited about my lessons and being able to show horses again. I think it's going to be very good for me.

I got my lavender Hockey Fights Cancer tie today. It looks so awesome! I can't wait to wear it.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend. My family and I had a great time at the powwow. Here are some pictures that I took while we were there.


Native American tacos!! When I went to my first powwow, I didn't get a chance to try this, so I was determined to get one this time! Fry bread is a beautiful thing.

The audience was invited to dance, too! It was so wonderful to watch. My family and I wanted to dance, but it would have been hard to dance with the gigantic bag of kettle corn that we had. We also didn't want to lose our great seats.

Ahh, so here it is. Sunday. I hope everyone has a good Monday and a nice week. DFiance, my parents and I are going to MVMCP on 12/5 and we are getting really excited.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I love all the siggy stuff going around! You gotta love the DIS!

Julez- I'm here! Glad you liked the pics. That Native American taco was pretty photogenic. By the way, I haven't gotten around to doing the MySpace/Facebook thing. That may soon change, though.


Rora- Glad you liked the pics! I hope they brought back fond memories of your childhood.

That's awesome that you're going to a MVMCP. Lucky you! I've haven't been to a MVMCP yet, but my family and I are planning to go to one next December.

I love all the cute holiday pictures, too. I can't wait for the Christmas ones!
