The Ultimate Walt Disney World Adventure

My quest started the week before Thankgiving, this past year. It was on a simple trip to Walt Disney World. We had traved through much of the Magic Kingdom and while wandering around ended up in the far corner of the park in Mickey's Toontown Fair. As we entered the area I saw a public restroom on the side of Pete's Garage. It was about 10am so they had not yet started serving food out in front and the area was very quiet. I wandered into the restroom which was completely spotless and was slammed by it. It was an orange-ish citrus fiesta of smells which filled the area. I had never smelled anything like it before, and so the scent was dubbed in my mind. In my mind this was the official smell of a Walt Disney World public restroom. Now trust me, i'm a normal guy. I don't go around obsessing with smells or other shananigans of the such. But for some reason this smell stayed with me, I began finding myself obsessed with trying to replicating the scent for use in my own home, to no avail. No matter where I what store I was in, I had to smell everything, looking-searching for the scent. I would smell candles, car air freshners, sprays, anything that would come close to the scent. I googled "Walt Disney World public restroom scent", but nothing came up. For months I searched and smelled, smelled and searched with no luck. I figured it was a magical smell only located in the Kingdom. I began an intense investigation into finding the smell and finally after months of searching I found it, I finally found it. With months of time, blood, sweat, tears, (ok no blood or tears but you get the point), I had finally found it. Now I have been on the boards for some time, ever since I started planning my last trip. I think you are all a great bunch of folks. But a delimma came up. If I tell the crowds about what I had found they would seek it out, steal it all, take it from me! After all this was my lost City of Atlantis. But then it came to me: maybe everyone would like a piece (or smell) of the magic in their homes. So here it is folks. The official smell of the Walt Disney world bathrooms is manufactured by a company called Kimberly-Clark. Its called the Kimcare Continuous Air Freshner, scent:citrus. Please see the attached link. Now it looks like they are only sold in cases of 12 running about $100 each, so please if anyone is willing to buy a case, please think of me and allow me to purchase a piece (or tube of Kimcare) of the magic for my home. Sadly (or maybe not), I know the exact smell you're talking about. I once took a continuing education class in a nearby suburb, in a random office building, and the bathrooms had that SAME smell... so I figured it wasn't some special Disney concoction. If it wasn't such a busy place I probably would have tried to disassemble the wall air freshener and read the label.

I'm also looking for the apple pie smell from Philharmagic!

Lots of my customers work at Kimberly Clark. There's one in my area. I think the one in my area makes toilet tissue (?)
If you have a Homegoods store in your area go sniff in the bathroom!
It "might" be the same smell.
