I hear you rinky, the weight loss is usually always a good thing. You'll probably have to have the gall bladder out in time and if your tummy problems continue you'll be glad you did. My hubby had two major attacks before he decided to go for it and get the problem removed. He had it done laproscopically, recovery time minimal and he's been great ever since. The highly unusual part was he went 3, yes 3 full yrs in between attacks!!!
I know it won't be much fun but you can probably ask for bland foods on the cruise and at the world Here's some more pixie dust for you!!

Wow, 3 years apart... that's strange. Right now, I'm just hoping mine holds off for a month! If I have to deal with it when I get back, I'll just have to do it, but I NEED it to chill out for now.

Since my last comments were less than uplifting, I decided that I just had to share my VERY good fortune with all of you. My DH was at work today, and totally out of the blue, someone he works with asked him if he could use a Disney gift card for our trip. As it was, she had a gift card that was going to expire in December and she had no interest in going back to Disney any time soon. She also didn't want to buy any Disney merchandise with it. She told my DH that if he didn't want it, she was just going to throw it away. So of course, he said we could use it on our upcoming trip. She said she couldn't remember how much was on it, so she called the number on the back of the card and there was a $400 balance remaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND SHE STILL DIDN'T WANT IT!! Needless to say, DH thanked her profusely and called me asap! I'm sure she could hear me squealing through the phone! I just can't believe that happened to us and I had to share my joy with all of you! Talk about getting a HUGE dose of pixie dust!!!

Sorry to hear about your gallbladder issues. I had mine out in 2000. If it helps at all my triggers were cheese-especially melted-pizza-grilled cheese etc, and anything fried. Dr also said that carbanation can be bad. If your "attacks" are spread out I think you are safe to vacation. Mine went from spread out to almost daily and then it had to come out. A big congrats on the Disney gift card. WOW, that was generous!

Rinky I can not believe your trip is so close I hope your feeling better I have been having stomach issues myself and trying to hold off going to see another Dr but I have thought perhaps mine' s related to my gall bladder too as any spicey foods just make me suffer now.

Rinky that is awesome!!! Your trip is just around the corner. After my return this trip (having stayed CSR and CBR this year) I have decided POR is my favorite moderate! Have a great time. Be sure to check YeeHa Bob's schedule and head into the Rooster Lounge for a show. Not to be missed. I loved the morning walk from POR to FQ. So peaceful and beautiful. And the jazz show in FQ was really great, too if you get time to listen to him.

Just wanted to mention Rinky, I've been reading through pixie vacations/lesley.. they are doing soft openings in Fantasyland,
these are not advertised so when your in the MK be sure to check.
I have seen a video of folks riding The Little Mermaid, it looks awesome.Hope ya get lucky!!! Fingers and toes are crossed for that tummy to stay quiet!!! When are you leaving???

Yes it will! I don't think we will need to come out of pocket for anything on our trip now! I had earned about $500 through my Disney Visa so between the two cards, I think we are set!!! I am so thankful for that!

Ya know, I was thinking maybe cheese was a trigger. We did have grilled cheese sandwiches that night. I still haven't figured it out for sure though. I tried eating small amounts of things that I think might be the culprit and so far none of them have caused me problems, so?????

That WAS very generous of them! They are very, very wealthy, but it was still a BIG gift!

I know! They are VERY wealthy, but it was still a major amount of money to give away (to me anyway). At the very least, she could have sold it on ebay and got some of her money back out of it but she didn't want to bother with it. Must be nice to be that well off!

I'm glad to hear you like POR so much. I hope we do too! I'm sure we will! I am so excited to try it out! I've had several people tell me that walk between the resorts is beautiful. I hope we have time to do that. And we are going to try to see Bob for sure!

That sounds awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I haven't had any DIS time lately and so I am very out of the loop with what's going on in the parks. I wouldn't have known that if you hadn't told me! I will be sure to check and see if it's open. What a treat that would be!!!

We leave on October 24th, coming home on Nov. 4th. I'm so ready to get out of here!!!

I was reading your report last night when Jill called. We both 'wowed' at your $400 gift! Very cool!

The walk between POR and POFQ is one of the most peaceful places on property. Sometimes there will be no one but you, yet you know you are in the midst of thousands and thousands of people not too far away. I hope you do get to walk that path. It's not long at all.
