I have a soft spot for the Magic Carpets as they were our very first ride at Disney.
I feel so silly because I was actually nervous beforehand

and even more silly because I didn't realise that you controlled the carpet yourself, so my boyfriend and I spent the whole ride pouting because we thought ours was broken.
Oh don't feel bad! I did the same thing the first time we rode Dumbo. I didn't realize that you could control the seat until the ride was halfway over!

But I agree, those may be very simple, old fashioned style rides but there is still something so fun about them!
Oh, come on now, not really everything and everywhere! It's the DIS influence that got me that mug for sure! I am easily influenced and all these TRs showing me cute stuff make me want to buy too! I need more will power!
I have been very blessed and fortunate to do a lot in life (mostly as an adult). I want to share that with my kids and hope that they appreciate traveling, other cultures, and also where we live. There's always more things I add to the list of places to go and things to see though. Plus I have to keep going to WDW! It's the only thing we really spend our "extra" money and splurge on now is travel.
But I never went in that shop before!!!
Sheree you know I'm just picking at you! You are my travel hero!

You really have taken a lot of cool trips. I'm just in awe, that's all. I would love to travel as much as you do and I don't blame you one bit for going all you can.

I am just like you on that. I spend every extra dime I can get my hands on on travel. Sometimes we spend a little money doing something to the house, but for the most part it all goes on travel.
We do several long weekend trips throughout the year and then do Disney in the fall. I wish we could do two big trips a year, but I know I am blessed just to get one so I won't dare complain! But I know when DD gets older, we are going to want to branch out some and take her to some other places. I actually did some traveling with my family before DH and I got married, but he hasn't really been anywhere. His parents don't like to travel so he has only been to a very few places. I've been to NYC, Washington DC, Myrtle Beach SC, Williamsburg VA, Atlanta & the Great Smokey Mountains (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Asheville) all several times, pretty much everywhere along the Viginia and North Carolina coastlines, and of course Disney and the Bahamas. So I have traveled to lots of places along the East Coast, but I'm like a crack head when it comes to travel... it's NEVER enough!

There are soooo many places that I still want to go to. The UK is at the top of my list though and I just happen to know someone heading that way in about a week!
And I totally agree with you that I want to share as much travel with my child as I can while she is still at home with me.
Awwwwwwwwwww, nothing like the magic of the kingdom, my favorite park by far. It so brings out the kid in ya and to me its what disney is all about.
Enjoying your report so much. I just wish I'd be sent reminders all the time so I know when your new posts are up, I don't always get them. It would be a sin to get behind!!

your daughter is such a cutie with the spray of freckles on her nose

, I don't think you've ever mentioned her name??
Sittin tight for the next update!!
I know, MK is pure Disney! I get goose bumps every time I walk through the gates there!
You know that happens to me to! I will subscribe to a thread and then for some reason, I quit getting email updates! I have no idea why that keeps happening. It seems like the DIS has a few bugs.
Thanks for the nice words about my baby girl. I think her freckles are pretty cute too. I just wish that other kids could appreciate children for who they are and not judge them on what they 'think' is ideal. She has been picked on for her freckles before and it makes me so mad. We told her they were angel kisses to try to make her feel better. But the latest thing is that some kid keeps telling her she has big ears. What's a parent supposed to say to something like that?

I just don't know why some children have to be so mean! None of us are perfect, especially in appearance, so why is there always one who thinks they have the right to point out the flaws of others!

My DD is such a wonderful person on the inside, sweet, compassionate, always thinking of how others feel, yet that is completely overlooked by some and it makes me so angry! I just wonder if this sort of thing is starting already, what the heck will it be like when she is older!
Gosh, I am so sorry I just unloaded all that on you... can you tell it's been a rough day?
