"YAY! We're going on Toy Story Mania, that new ride! Wait, where the heck are you going? Come ba-a-a-a-ck - or not........hey, YOUR loss..."
.....we bid
adios to TJ, thanking him for the snapshot, and, after viewing our photo on one of the close-curcuit tv screens at the end of the hall, we continued on to the gift shop, but not before stopping to purchase some skin lotion - you know, the kind they leave in all the WDW resort bathrooms, along with all those other wonderful toiletries:
[...the white stuff, in the middle...]
....we began to hurry over to RnRC, but the line had grown to a whopping 110-minute wait. It was HERE that Ron suggested we just get some Fastpasses (BRILLIANT idea - why didn't
I think of that? ) which would not be valid till sometime around 2PM...It was right about there that I casually mentioned that DHS recently acquired a new ride and that perhaps we should try it. Jesse and Alexis had already been on that ride and raved about it, so I already knew that it was going to be a "

", sure to bring out the competitiveness of both Ron and Dylan. We hurried along Sunset Blvd, again avoiding purchasing anything to eat, and completely bypassing all the wonderful shops along the way, until we finally reached the entrance to
Toy Story Mania!, whose sign prominently displayed a 85-minute wait. Across the way, it was already jammed-packed with youngsters anxiously awaiting a chance for a face-to-face with their
Toy Story heroes [and heroines]. Ron was having no part of that more-than-an-hour wait and began to walk away,
...in the direction of
The Backlot Studio Tour....
"Why are you walking away? Where are you going? You haven't been ON this yet! Come back! Where will I meet you?...." But my pleas fell on deaf ears...oh well, they don't know what they're missing...

[...I thought I could faintly hear the remark of
"We're going on the back tour..." but I could be wrong. Besides, you've been on that ride
7 times, you've been on them all...] Well, that 85-minute wait actually turned out to be a shade under 50 minutes (Confucius say:
"Good things come for those who wait..."
); I decided to capture some of the more precious 'toy-moments' (things that reminded me of my childhood), but not before clicking away at its facade and capturing a photo with a 'toy soldier'
[....Sir, yesssSIR!..."]:
...you know that you are really on 'the inside' when the wafting of cool, delicious air-contioned air comes your way; it helps to make the wait more bearable:
....I especially loved meeting that ever-lovable spud - everyone's favorite ORIGINAL Master-of-Snarky (he's my IDOL!!!

), Mr. Potato Head:
....the interaction with him is great and his snappy come-backs are crowd-pleasing....some really funny stuff, especially for the unsuspecting clods that dare to pass his way...finally beyond the Lincoln-log house, around the corner, down the stairs, and I was there, waiting for my personal chair to whisk me away [which, henceforth, shall be known as my 'practice run']:
....truly one of WDW's better attractions. The only drawback is that one experiences severe cramps in their 'pulling' forearm! You practically have to train for the Olympics in order to avoid succumbing to the muscle ache that is inevitable...well, either that, or I am REALLY OUT OF SHAPE!
[...I'll thank you to kindly keep your comments to yourself...
