The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

oh, and btw i love your reports and have been a lurker for a while. hopefully i will be making more posts in the future! :goodvibes

I'm telling you guys, EE is a smoother track. RnRC throws your head from side to side, smashing your temples like it wants to brain you. The little EE mishap was simply a fluke. It's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :rotfl2:

I wil just stick to my favorite occupation !!Picking on Marv!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
I'm guessing this is one of those occupations where job satisfaction far outweighs the pay..... :lmao:
Marv's ride sounds kind of............kinky! :rotfl:
Just a way to spice up the name so I can attract viewers to my new cooking show. :rolleyes1

That's nice!

Actually I prefer the bumpy ride where you have to fasten that seat belt really tight! :)

I completely agree with this! I didn't like Alien Encounter that much but it was so much better than Stitch's Great Escape.
Thought AE was pretty good, but definitely agree that SGE was something experiencing only once was too much!
{cough} I don't think I was alive when Disney had the lettered tickets.{cough} :rolleyes1
You've missed out on so much........ :sad2:
Darn, your old (and you can't come back and say I am--not a nice way to talk to a lady!).
:rotfl2::rotfl2:
I'm not touching this! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You're not old Kathy.......but you ARE older than me! :rotfl2:
I have never done the Hall of Presidents.....not sure if I really want to though.
Another one I haven't done since "E" ticket days......:rolleyes1

So still no word on Ana's tea party, Tim??? Can't believe that would take so long to figure out an answer. :confused3

I wil just stick to my favorite occupation !!Picking on Marv!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
This is where the benefits outweigh the pay!!!!!!! :lmao:

EDIT::: I guess Marv beat me to this response!!!! DOH!

Marv's ride sounds kind of............kinky! :rotfl:
Ummmmm I'm not going to touch this one!!! :scared1:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have seen you on other TR's and I even used your "that's nice" phrase to a little girl who was driving me crazy the other day with her non-stop talking. As soon as I said it, I thought of you and the DIS. So glad that Ana got her MAW trip. She is absolutey adorable. Sorry to hear of your loss. I will be keeping your family in my prayers.
:welcome:

Thanks for coming by!!!!!!

'that's nice' fever is sweeping the country!!!! Your story is too funny!

Thank you for your kind words. :goodvibes

i went on astro orbiter one time for the last time. it was during wishes so the view of the fireworks would have been great if i could have opened my eyes. with the height and spinning i was terrified :scared:
HA! Since it was the last time you will ever ride it, you should of at least opened your eyes for a sec or two! :lmao:

LOL Since we weren't there we will have to take your word for it... but something seems a little fishy here... :fish:

I'm guessing this is one of those occupations where job satisfaction far outweighs the pay..... :lmao:
I thought the exact same thing!:lmao:
Just a way to spice up the name so I can attract viewers to my new cooking show. :rolleyes1
The best way to attract viewers is to look like Giada!!!!!! :rolleyes1

Thought AE was pretty good, but definitely agree that SGE was something experiencing only once was too much!
Thanks goodness I haven't wasted our time seeing it.

You've missed out on so much........ :sad2:
I've also missed out on the revolutionary war and WWI.

You're not old Kathy.......but you ARE older than me! :rotfl2:
 :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

No word yet... still waiting. :scratchin

Here are a few smilies from Juliana:

Hey Tim..... just dropping in to say hi!! Oh and you MUST go on Astro Orbiter!! Its one of our favorites LOL - I don't know why really, its pretty much Dumbo but up much higher. The key is to head to tomorrowland first, grab your FP for Space or Buzz and then go right on Astro Orbiter. Otherwise the long line isnt really worth it. But if you do get on without the long line, the view is really cool from up there.

Hey Tim!

Since we seem to hang on the same threads, I tried to get on board with the birthday TR but was too far behind. I am all caught up and ready to roll with your MAW PTR!

I think I may be able to help a bit. My DD just turned 7 on 9/10 and we were just at US/IOA in May. If Juliana is familiar with Dr Seuss books, she will love Seuss Landing at IOA!!! The rides are a bit young but the level of detail was amazing and she was thrilled with it all. She loved seeing the Trufala Trees, the sign for Mulberry St, the Green Eggs and Ham restaurant, and on and on. She also liked the Curious George play area at US but that area is pretty wet which would only work depending on the weather. As for the other rides, my DD is a thrill rider who loves EE and will ride TOT but some of the US/IOA attractions were too intense for her because the images get right in your face. She did not like Spiderman at all but she did love Men in Black.

Another suggestion I thought of is you could do the Main St barber instead of BBB to save time and money if you switch to the tea. They take reservations now and she could get her hair done with colored gel and glitter for I think $15.

We just did the Ohana breakfast in May and it was slow. It took a long time to get seated and a long time for food and characters. Maybe we were there on an off day but just thought I would throw that in there.

If you don't mind me hijacking your TR, I can throw in a few photos for you tomorrow. I may start my own PTR for our January trip and do a mini-TR of May as part of the PTR but by the time I get around to it you will probably be leaving for you trip - LOL!

Made it over. Way back at the beginning but making my way through.

What a special little girl. I look forward to hearing all about it.

Hitting Astro first isnt a bad idea. I have no park touring plans as of yet.... but knowing us we won't be there at RD. Lol

I've red on a few TRs that Men in black was a good ride. I have to keep in mind that Juliana is only 4 even though sometimes she seems much older. I don't want to bring her on any ride that will scare her to try something new. The Suess landing area sounds awesome for her.

I didn't know the Main St barber takes reservations now. Thanks for the suggestion... now I have another option to throw around.:)

I don't think we are going to do 'Ohana for breakfast.... I was just looking for any character meal for us because I was having a hard time finding one.

Mind?????? Mind?!?!?!?! It is accepted and encouraged that you hi-jack when ever possible!! Lololol

I'd love to see your pictures.:)

Thanks for joining. I've been trying to keep up with my links so it is easy to catch up if you miss a few days, although over the last few days it has been pretty quiet in here.

Coming by to say . I have been :surfweb: reading all your other trips. Love looking at all the yummy food you posted. The tonga toast looks so yummy.

Thanks for reading them. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth keeping those links in my signature.

Tonga is like having dessert for breakfast. It is so good! :goodvibes

Once again my update isn't much of an update. :sad2:

We still haven't heard back from MAW regarding the tea party. I guess this might be a good thing since they haven't called me back saying they couldn't book it or them asking us what we would want to do instead of the tea party. :confused3

I primed & painted Juliana's room last week. It took me a few days since I had to patch holes, prime, paint the ceiling, and do 2 coats on the walls. We also bought Juliana new furniture so she finally has a big girl bed. She is so excited every night to sleep in it. :goodvibes

I also bought tickets to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. I was able to find a code online to get the tickets at 1/2 price! So we are going to go in November to see the show. :woohoo:

My question (What ride/attraction in the MK have you always wanted to ride/see but never had the chance?) turned unofficial poll was great! Thanks for responding! The results were as follows...

1) River Boat- 6 votes
2) COP- 5 votes
3) Haunted Mansion- 2 votes
3) Laugh Floor- 2 votes
3) Astro Orbiter- 2 votes (including mine)
4) Space Mountain, Railroad, TTA, Snow White, HOP, Tom Sayer's Island- 1 vote

Also included was 3 people telling me NEVER to see Stitch! :lmao::lmao:

So lets have another go at it...

1)What ride/attraction in DHS have you always wanted to ride/see but never had the chance?

I guess it would have to be the Great Movie Ride or Fansasmic! I don't know if the movie ride or Fantasmic would be too scary for Juliana. I think she is getting to the age now where she could handle it without a problem. Fantasmic is out for December I don't think it will fir into our days but I think I'd like to give the movie ride a try.

What colors did you paint her room? for her big girl bed! I hope when Madie gets old enough she'll want to sleep in her own bed. She sleeps in her crib great, I've just heard horror stories of how hard it is to get some kids to sleep in their own beds at night...:confused3

[/SIZE]

That's a hard one for me. I've never seen the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" movie set adventure, and I've always heard how neat it is. We'll definitely have to take a look at it next October when we go because Madie is sure to want to explore it.

Even tougher for me !!I think I've done all I want to !!Some I loved and some never again !!!Drew Carey and Narnia ..Never again !! Ya'll know I haven't done ToT or RnR and have NO desire too!!!!Oh thought of one Star Tours I just MAY try that!!!!

I love HS!! A trick I have learned riding the GMR with little kids is to distract them at the alien part - give them a light up thingy or drop something at your feet and have them pick it up - lol - worked like a charm!! haha!! you could always see how your day is going before trying fantasmic - if she is rested and still wide awake she might be okay - but if she is tired out, might be too intense!!! Have so much fun though!!!!

i've never been on the studio backlot tour due to time restraints/rehab but it sounds like fun to me! i also haven't seen the playhouse disney show or animation show/drawing. star tours isn't something that i care for, but the may be because i'm not much of a star wars fan :confused3

i also want to go eat at sci-fi dine-in, which i totally consider an attraction :lmao:

(Maroo will love this one..... LOLOL)

I painted one wall purple and the other 3 PINK! We bought white furniture and it does look very nice. Juliana's crib convered into a day bed but she was getting too big for it. She looked so cramped in it. It was time for her to move, and she was and still is excited about being in a big bed. :goodvibes

Juliana remembers this playground and HAS to go play in it. First thing she wants to do in DHS is goto this playground. Word of advice- keep a close tab on your kid in here. There are so many little paths that you end up losing sight of them. We couldn't find Juliana in March for about 2 minutes and we were freaking out!:scared1:
