The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

I just discovered this PTR from your Magical Birthday TR (which I loved!). Your little girl (and you and your wife) have truly have gone through so much in the past few years with her health but so glad that she is still cancer-free - bless her heart! Somehow I missed when you are going on this next trip :confused3 Is it in December 2010?

:welcome: to my PTR!

Thank you! Juliana is doing well and every day gets a little easier. :)

I guess I didn't write when we were going in the first post because at the time we weren't sure of the dates. But since I started, we have gotten dates of December 1-7, 2010!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Cool!! We will be there 11/28-12/3/10 staying at BWV in a 2bedroom w/boardwalk view. If you happen to pass by, look for my big lime green Mickey I plan to put up in the window (and hope to decorate with small lights, if they allow it).

whew! I think I'm finally caught up. Mostly.

CONGRATS on your new bundle of joy, how exciting!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw reference to it on the TR and hopped over for the details :goodvibes

LOL sounds good!!!!

Not sure if I will be exploring the boardwalk this trip, but if we do I'll be looking for it!

We are still hoping to add 2 more days to this schedule... If that happens we will do MVMCP on Tuesday Dec 7th, have time to visit Mel's grandfather, and give us a full day at Universal.

We changed our mind and we are going to book the Wonderland Tea Party for Juliana instead of the 'other' tea party. This can change back though. :rotfl:

That is it for now. Hope everyone has a great weekend! :goodvibes

FYI: December 2nd is the night that the WDWToday crew is heading to MVMCP for Reunion. Not sure how much that'll impact the crowds, but figure it's worth knowing.

Also: the evening of the 4th we're heading over to DHS for the lights before moving to Blue Zoo for dinner :) Maybe we'll see you!

Ooo, the Wonderland Tea Party!

When I read about that, it makes me wish I had a little girl! :goodvibes

Hi Tim!! I'm fabulously behind, again! :lmao: School started this week and it's a slight adjustment to the schedule, if you know what I mean! :)

I love the plans thus far and I know you are open to changing them if needed. I can't wait to read about the Tea Party! I also like the idea of doing BBB at DD if you're not able to get the time you want in the MK. To your point, Juliana could then arrive, ready to be the star of the show! :lovestruc

How is Mel feeling these days? My sister just hit 31 weeks and she is miserable (not surprising :rotfl2:). I warned her it would "get worse" and to enjoy the moments while she had them. She's not buying it! :rotfl: I hope Mel is doing okay and not too much MS.

Have a great weekend!
Heather

I am sure I have read this before. But what is the difference between the Wonderland tea party and the other one?

Btw, don't forget my TR :P

Your plans sound great. :goodvibes

I've wondered what the tea party is like. I've heard a lot of good things.

jenseib has pics of the Wonderland tea party on her TR. She was able to pop her head in and snap some! It looks like the girls were having a great time!

OK that is good to know. I can imagine that it could be a little busier? How many people usually go to these podcast weekends?

Also: the evening of the 4th we're heading over to DHS for the lights before moving to Blue Zoo for dinner :) Maybe we'll see you!
OHHHHHH that would be cool! Who knows if we will end up here though. These plans are a changin'! :rotfl:

Well, you can always start working on child #3!!!! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Hey Heather!

Don't worry about being behind. I'm trying to link all the major news in the TOC. How are your kids liking school? Juliana starts on Tuesday. She can't wait!

I am going to keep trying to get MK BBB for the morning. If not I'm fine with the DTD one. I'm trying hard to get at least 1 character meal, which I haven't been successful yet. :headache:

Mel is feeling OK... just a little tired and nauseous from time to time.

You have a good weekend too! :goodvibes

Hope you don't mind a little copy and paste! And I subbed BTW.. I am just gonna need time to read it since I am working all day today.

Wonderland Tea Party

While not a princess experience, another fantasy meal to consider is the Wonderland Tea Party that takes place at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Alice in Wonderland, accompanied by the Mad Hatter, hosts a luncheon in a delightful tea party setting. The children create and eat their own cupcakes. Please note: parents/guardians do not participate in this event. The price is $42.60 per child (potty friendly). This is offered Monday through Friday at 1:30pm - 2:30. 24 hour cancellation policy. Advance reservations required and can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Perfectly Princess Tea Party

The ultimate experience is the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian Resort hosted at the Garden View Lounge.

Princesses’ ages 3 to 11 are invited to attend this unforgettable event that takes place every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday - Friday from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

This regal gala includes tea for two, beautifully decorated cakes, and an opportunity to meet and greet Sleeping Beauty herself, Princess Aurora. Hosted by “Rose Petal” the children will be delighted by the stories, songs and Disney Princess parade.

Each guest age 3 to 11 will receive their very own “My Disney Girl” doll that is outfitted in a Princess Aurora gown complete with accessories. The “Princess” participants also will get a silver link Princess bracelet, a princess scrapbook page, a “Best Friend” certificate and a glistening tiara.

The cuisine includes Tea for Two, Princess Cake for Two.

The cost for this event is $250.00 for one adult and one child age 3 to 11. Gratuities are included, tax is additional. Reservations can be made through 407-WDW-DINE.

Tim, the new plans sound great. I hope you get to extend the trip a couple of days so you guys have more time to get done what you want to get done. The Wonderland Party sounds great. The only time I've ever really regretted not having a daughter is with Disney and the princesses, etc. Grumpy on the other hand is thrilled we don't have a girl. They reach a certain age and he says that all that is between their ears is helium. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So I've had a goddaughter and niece to spoil and now we have Juliana to spoil. :)

I'm hoping for the extension too. But I'm not counting on it. :santa:

I'm sure that you will be a grandmother someday... then you can REALLY spoil a little one!

Mark is right.... I've dated a few girls with the helium problem! :lmao::lmao:

Ha.

Ha ha.

You're funny, you know that? ;)

Actually, I have three nieces and a fourth on the way, so it's highly possible that at some point, one of those tea parties could be in my future.

I'm not quite ready to be a grandma just yet. However, at the rate these two are going, I'll be lucky if either one of them ever even gets serious about a girl. :rotfl:

While the Princess Tea party sounds amazing, I actually like the Wonderland better. There just seems something so magical about it being adult free!

I think your plans look really good - there is a lot going on there, but not TOO much, it's a bit looser than your previous plans it seems.

The Wonderland Tea looks like so much fun! Plus just slightly cheaper. Juliana is cool with either one?

Look like good changes to me. Is your chapter still considering letting you extend, or are you still looking into the airline policy of just changing the flights?
