Danauk and RRBB, I think it's wonderful that you both have gotten to meet (in person) internet friends. The only person I've met was a brief meeting with someone I met on a Bichon Frise website. And of course there was the woman who I talked to while in line for the HM which ended being Mackey Mouse.

I think my DH thinks I'm a bit odd with the time I spend on the DIS. But with how busy people are these days (I work with just my DH all day and am home with the kids from 3:00 on) there often isn't the time to have adult conversation--not that what we have here is "adult" conversation.

Here is the deal on the magical gatherings...Since I am going DVC, it is easiest if I set it up and we link our reservations. The Magical Gathering dept has some neat (and expensive) events.

We need at least 8 adults staying on property. I think we have that covered...(adults)

so0oo0oo0o.......i believe we r now definitely staying in the Wilderness lodge. would anyone like to come on Hulk with me in US?? sadly, i am a lonerider--bro's too little, mom's motion sick, and dad's afraid of heights. oh well, single rider lines move quicker anyway. i'm afraid of heights (what is that? heightophobia? vertigo? it's the algebra i'm telling you..) actaully, but i love rollercoasters. yeah, a rollercoaster fanatic who's afraid of heights. go figure.

I'd love to do HULK with you, but I we'll be at Mickey's parks that day. (Nephosaurus really wants to try that ride - I'm sure because of its color - but he's too small to get in and has to stay in the lockers.)

That sounds like a really neat trip you made to Las Vegas and San Diego Danauk. I lived in southern Arizona for 9 years and never made it to the Grand Canyon.

No!!!! no more grounding!!!! :hides: is it safe to come out??whew, that was a close 'un.

anyway, last time i rode hulk i was on the single riders line, got into the ride in like 5minutes and got to ride in the very last car! it was awesome! give Nephosaurus my condolances (sp??). it's definitely one of the best coasters i've ever ridden (behind Top THrill Dragster and Millenium Force). anyway, soo....i will remember you all in spirit when i ride it, considering you will be only a short distance a way. i'm getting excited and there are still 79 days left until we leave. hey that's not too long. only 10 more weeks of school left and only 3 weeks until spring break!!!!!

 

[Danauk]

Arizona was great and I loved the Grand Canyon. We went twice, once by car and again by helicopter from Las Vegas. Las Vegas was great we stayed in the New York New York for 3 nights and the Venetian Hotel for 2 nights (where we were upgraded to a high roller suite!! It had 4 toilets, 2 jacuzzies (sp?) and our own sauna!!!! with a complete view both ways down the Las Vegas strip) it was a once in a life time experience!!) I loved going indoor skydiving in Las Vegas, you should try that if you go there!
