If you guys think up any other dates for vacations at WDW I'm gonna have to think of ways to come up with an AP this year. I love to drive and I can't wait to install a DVD in my '92 Ford Taurus Wagon. It's got Air, cd player, good gas mileage (at least on the highway). It's a cruisin' mobile baby!

...hmmmm, the pontoon boat for Wishes or Illuminations costs $120 ...holds 10 adults or 12 people if some are kids.
Illuminations..in your face and ears (and sometimes eyes), you are there type experience.
Wishes more laid back, sometimes can't hear the music though (but they're working on that).
Both have gotten great reviews....book 90 days out and difficult to do as there are only four pontoons plus the Brethless (I think that's the name) available each night.

What a lovely family experience that would be. WISHES might be a better choice with the little ones...Illuminations can be very loud. Just a suggestion, in case you hadn't thought of it.

Laura & FPgurl04. The only ride you mentioned that I've been on is Raptor & I loved it. Can't wait to go back to Cedar Point this summer, it has been too long....BTW FPgurl04, count me in as a roller coaster fan who doesn't like heights. I guess as long as I'm moving I am OK.

OK, regarding the October trip, more than likely, [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] & I will only be able to commit to one day with you [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color][color=00FF00]S[/color]. This will be the day we send the DH's, kids & my mom & dad to a water park. So, as far as a Magical Gathering event is concerned, I don't think it will be terribly likely that we will be able to attend. I do want to try & meet you at PI one night if you go there. Anyway, I wish we could plan on "meeting" with all of you more, but with our DH's & my parents being there, they are going to expect us to spend time with them.

I highly recommend the Illuminations cruise if you haven't done it before. We took my dad on one 2 years ago for his birthday. I think it was around $180 & that included a cake that was super-yummy.

[COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] said she is letting me pick where we stay since she goes way more often than I do. However, she gave up being over-bearing for lent, so she may take over control after Easter. Anyway, I would like to stay at WL if we can get a good AP rate. I am also leaning toward POFQ, mainly because I want to see Bichon Barb flying down the giant dragon tongue slide.

quick update on me and DBF:

Ohana : DBF and I may be in DFW for a roadtrip this summer(six flags and dinner at Pancho's) for the day.Maybe a meet if the trip happens??

Tonight's update: DBF is staying with some friends in town(I'm in Abilene and he's in Anson for those who know Texas).He's pretty sure his sister's husband is behind this somehow but things have been testy for sometime(and it's not because of me,his family likes me as well as his roomates).His parents are divorced and his dad lives near me.We've been through worse and we do have our nightly phone calls to keep each other going.Last night when we talked we both were crying and I am still worried but he's out of the house which helps my mind

Still not enough...OK Let's get a little creative (I Hope they aren't watching from the resort board) Since I think the room Occupancy is 4 (I will have to check), and I Trust HuggaBaloo and his DP (Axe Murderers that they are), we could sort of add them to our room. That would bring our total to 8....

If we can't arrange things so [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] and PixieMagic are on property, then Bichon Barb and Lewski709 might be able to add them to their room....

I am not sure if everybody (or what percentage needs to be at each event.

So before Bichon Barb and Lewski709 make their reservations, We need to decide if we want to do any of the magical gathering stuff...

For the original Idea of the Tag Meet, we could do
Tuesday at 9:30AM we could have the full meet at Tony's in MK at 9:30AM. Everybody including [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR], Her DH, Deadheadbelle, Her DH, Deadheadbelle's Parents...and the kids. We don't need the rest of their family, but the option is there...) It is less expensive (I Think) than most of the other buffets. AND TONY SINGS Belle a Note'!!!!!

I kind of would like the Safari Celebration Dinner, specifically the special Kilimanjaro Safari (30 minute extended trip, but that gets pricey...Sunday afternoon (Right After we first get there) but it is pricey...

We might also be able to get the TB/DHB clan to go in with us on a Magical Fireworks voyage and Dessert buffet...

What night would be best?

Same thing for the Intl Dinner and Illuminations dessert reception,
but I don't think the DHB/TB clan could be talked into that one...

This is probably what we would have to do if the girls are only staying for the first part of the week.....we'd want to plan something for the days they are there, which looks like it would correspond to the days we are off-site.

Just a quickie, busy day.

Just got off the phone with Daniel's school. Apparently they are NOT taking a full Fall Break, maybe a long weekend at best. I will know something for sure later in the day. This changes things some, but we will still be going, I just don't know for how long. We will still try to do our meet with you guys one morning and we are thinking now that we would like to do CP the most. We will be having Donald for breakfast another morning with the family.

I'm going shopping for my nephew's ([COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR]'s DS] birthday present. He is turning 12 this weekend!!! I can't believe little Daniel is a pre-teen.

Well, leave it to [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] to throw a wrench in the plan. JK. Actually, this may work better. If I can get DH to take off the Friday before, we could possibly leave Thursday night! That way we'd have a couple of days with the family before the DIS meet.

Deadheadbelle and [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR], are you planning/considering Mickey's Not So Scary Haloween Party? I know it's too early to know what dates are offered that week, but is this event on your itinerary? No reason we couldn't all 'accidentaly' have tickets for the same night!

We are definitely planning on the Party. Once dates are released we will put our intinerary together & make plans for which date works best.
