The Tagliarchy Mansion

Lewski709 We're in the same boat. Originally, my sister and her hubby were going to be the ones to take our boys. Then she got divorced from him and neither me or DH feel comfortable with the guy she married next. There is absolutely no one on my DH's side that he would allow to have J&J so we're left with my aunt who is 7 years younger than my mother! My oldests Godfather has since remarried (oldests Godmother died of ovarian cancer 2 yrs. ago) and hasn't retired from the army yet. We don't like the idea of A: the boys moving around alot, and B: the boys moving away from the only stability they would have if something happened to us. This is the worst thing to have to plan IMO. Good Luck and trust in your instincts to do the best you can do with what you have.

Good evening everyone. How is everyone doing at work? My day has been quite hectic. It snowed a little again this morning so the kids were a bit excited and chatty all day!! I see we have been asking questions again so I will try to answer what I can remember. My real name is Karen. The TV character I am most like is also Monica from Friends (only at work though - I had a student teacher in my class for 10 weeks. She called me Monica as every time she left something around the classroom or if the kids do not put things away I have to move them.) As for naming SO's. My DH is Pete. I don't have kids but do have 2 cats called Cheeky and Figaro and 3 bunnies called Holly, Misty and Saphire. We also have a pond full of fish in our garden (all called Bob) and some frogs have moved in their too (they are all called Boris!) We also have some tropical fish inside too.
Hopefully I should finally have been able to post a picture of me for you all to see. It was taken in August on our 5th wedding aniversary after a meal at the California Grill with our best friends.

just edited to add, sorry the picture is so big but I don't know how to make it smaller!!

Lewski709, it may not be too late, and you may have gotten a good product, but some aren't. I would PM me with what you bought, I will see if it seems bad, but I am not certified. If you bought Term Life (which is what most of them sell, it shouldn't have been a lot of money. My concerns would be with the company having an ability to pay off the claims.

I would call Primerica anyway. The company started with a mission to explain how people were being taken advantage of with many products. Most people have heard that Whole Life is not a good deal. Variable Annuity (what I have) is worse. I am stuck with mine for a lot of weird reasons. They also have legal services (to find you a cheap lawyer) and financial advice...

Again, I would call them it is free...

I would give you an internet link, but my connection is spotty right now!!!!!

Well, since llebreknit is a dead ringer for Jo from Facts of Life, looks like she's gonna be the butch one!

Hey, works for me babycakes, long as we know who's who we want have any trouble establishing who the boss is. Now we will need to work on this thing you have about slasher films. Afraid I won't be quite as tolerant as Joe about you watching them so long as I'm around. And another thing, didn't you say Bill is evil and doesn't like other doggies? Well, I have two ADORABLE (do you hear me Barb?) Puggies and I can't part with them, so Bill may have to have an attitude adjustment or he's out! I think we'll do OK otherwise, we both like Disney and you'll be the talkative one and you said you don't do laundry right? So that's not an issue. Looks like a match made in heaven!

It's a hypothetical match and look how pushy she is. Geesh!

Sounds good to me. I'm usually not much of a breakfast person, but when at Disney it's a must. So where are we going to sit and chow???

OK, again due to the fact that we have babies we were thinking a character meal would be a good idea, lots of photo op's too. Now don't get us wrong, when we say breakfast we really mean brunch, say about 10:00 - 10:30. Maybe Chef Mickey's or better yet Crystal Palace. We want to be able to walk around and do lots of rides with our fellow TAGLIKINS and there aren't that many rides at EPCOT. You guys who aren't on the low-key approach and are having a full-out DIS meet can do whatever you want on the other days. But as far as DHB and I are concerned, it will probably be a one day event. We will not only have the kids and hubbies but also the grandparents, so it's going to be a busy trip.

What say you to this?:)

Danauk I can't believe how incredibly English you look! And your hubby too! Cute couple, you guys need to make babies!;)

Lewski you guys just drive real careful, don't smoke, don't get in cars with strangers and then you'll live happily ever after. I bet your situation will change in the years to come. A few years back I didn't know what I would do with our kids. Then DHB got married to a very responsible type, and she blossomed into a terrific adult-type person. Now she's a wonderful mother and I have no worries about leaving her in charge of my kids should I have to leave here too soon.::yes::

Danauk Great photo. I just have to figure out how to get mine on here. First I have to find my big bag of Disney photos or else figure out how to download the photos off the sony or else start a web site so everyone can see. Hmmm, that sounds like an idea....

Do I really look that English?llebrekniT I spend my day with 29 7 year olds so no plans for babies of my own!!

Drat.:( I'm so disorganized right now I can't remember where I put them. My mom and I started scrapbooking so I got them all together with the albums and stuff and now I don't know where they are! Ugh! I can't even figure out how to post one I have on the 'puter.

Oh well, maybe tomorrow. I have to get everything ready for whatever the oldest is doing today after school. I'll have to check the calendar to remind of that too! Yeesh! I'm seriously thinking short term memory loss syndrome right now.

Yes, it's something about the mouth. I can see it in the lower part of your face. I can see why spending your day with 29 seven year olds could make you not want kids. I volunteer at my kid's schools alot, well I did before little Ella came along and most of the kids drive me crazy. I don't know how teachers do it. I love my kids and most of my nieces and nephews;), but I generally am not a kid-loving person, most of them irritate me.

I vote for CRYSTAL PALACE!

....back to your regularly schedule discussion...

Oh, and :wave2:

Lewski709 Problem solved......if you'll leave me your nice jewelry and a big chocolate stash, I'll be happy to take your boys....;) I only have DS9 but I swear there's never less than 4 boys running around our house so your boys would love it......I am also Godmother to three other children so potentially I could end up with a house full...... and me a single mom:eek:! Seriously though, what a tough thing to figure out....sending pixie dust your way

The TV character I am most like is definitely Julia Sugarbaker from Designing Women.....everyone says so and I'm glad the show is off the air so I don't have to hear it as often......we look nothing alike, only wish we did......I've been told I look alot like a younger Jane Pauley with longer hair..... is that good or bad I wonder.....

DanaukLove the picture...you and hubby would have beautiful kids!

....oh yeah, forgot to mention this morning when we were letting all the axe murderers know our names, the name of my DCLR (chocolate labrador retriever) is Cadbury......hence the screen name( for those who were dropped on their heads at birth) :p

......please don't let them be axe murderers.......please don't let them be axe murderers......please don't let them be axe murderers....please don't let them be axe murderers....

Danauk, what a great picture! I'm sure if you were on the fence regarding having kids before, our birth stories have helped you to make up your mind. I forgot to tell you before, your bunnies are soooo cute.

ibouncetoo, I vote for Crystal Palace too! I have only eaten there for dinner, never for breakfast. llebrekniT swears by the breakfast lasagna (sounds kinda gross to me, but whatever). What do you think RRBB, ohanafamily, Mad4Mickey, HuggaBaloo, Lewski709, Bichon Barb? Anyone else??? Oh, we have got to find a job for Lewski709!

I'm thinking if the job doesn't come about, Grandma is passing away, so I am there. Well, maybe. I don't have a roomie or plane tickets, but everything can be last minute. Isn't that how Grandma's deaths usually go?

Danauk such a cutie pie. Having your own kids is totally different, you CAN beat them secretly.

llebrekniT I feel the same way. Kids in general irritate me. That is why I got out of teaching El Ed. The student teaching was torture and I realized, not for this sista.

****Grandma went a long time ago*****

Got the internet fixed at work...

Crystal palace is OK by me, but we will have to take the kids to Breakfastosaurus some other day...After Brunch, we can all go to the Tiki Room!!!!!

We can get a Mivkey Bar (and eat it while thinking of Poor Tigger Fans!. I will even wrap it for Mad4Mickey.

When we get closer, maybe we can make a PS Reservation?
