OK, this is happening way too much and, quite frankly, I'm getting pretty sick of it. I "mentally" create my response, scroll down the page, and there it is...the response I had just visualized in my mind. And who, pray tell, has already posted said response? Why Deadheadbelle, of course!

Rick, what ever happened to your supervisor at work? I was reviewing old threads and I ran across your thread where she wanted a strange will/grace relationship...Just curious about the status/ending.

She wasn't my supervisor but my peer, however, she was the manager of the HR department. In any case, strange that you should bring that up Ohana. She was let go a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the higher ups didn't feel she was a good mix with the company culture and not professional enough. Read: she wasn't up to snuff, kinda sucked.

As for that incident some months ago, I nipped it in the bud by simply telling her to quit. She acted as if she were offended, batted her eye lashes and told me it was all in fun and that I should get a sense of humor. (I think you all know I have a very good sense of humor). So I went to her boss, the Chief Operating Officer. He and I get along great so I thought a sit-down about the situation was a good idea. Told him the scoop and that he had to chat with her about the incident. He was pretty stunned and took care of it within miliseconds after the conversation.

I think that was the beginning of the end for her.

You should have left your DH at home and gone out with Deadheadbelle for drinks, the game at Fridays and an appetizer. You could gaze at him when you got home, you'd have felt a lot better then. I say those two were GAY and I didn't even see them! I have gaydar way more than I should. Having a wine fest Friday with a few friends, one of them gay and we have such a good time together. I tend to have a lot of GAY friends. We funnies like each other.

HuggaBaloo that's right where I lived and worked. I know Valencia CC very well. First, lived at the Arbors on Kirkman, then at Twelve Oaks/Windermere Lakes off Kirkman behind the Publix and Blockbuster. I could sit on my screened in porch every night and watch the Universal Fireworks. It was great. The Metrowest area is nice. Then I moved to Winter Park, a very nice area too. Lots of us mutha's here. Did you like the food at PC?

RickinNYC there is plenty of "oh, I remember that" or "I had that" at PC. It's fun!

BTW keep your fingers crossed. Sam interviews today for Girls State. Only 12 Juniors were nominated out of 600 or so that attend the school. Wow weee. She told me not to get my hopes up b/c there were a lot of smart and well rounded girls also nominated. We shall see! And she should hear back fro Gov. School middle of April!!
