Yah, Yah, Yah... You know you like being Top Pixie!!!

Oh, I forgot, please post you picture so I can shrink it for you...

:bounce:

FYI

Yes, I hear that the 80's are coming back in. :Pinkbounc So get out your hairspray and start cutting open the necks of those sweatshirts folks. And don't forget the legwarmers.

Actually, I'm sitting here having fond memories of hanging out at the Marshall Street (Syracuse University) bars with my favorite suede Peter Pan boots. Remember those? The floors were so sticky that sometimes you'd start walking through the bar, and your Peter Pan boot would stay in place while you walked away. :teeth:

Ah yes, Thursday nights at Maggie's -- dollar import night. Sighhhhh.

Huggabaloo, what does your gaydar think about the boys I saw in the mall. They weren't holding hands, but they were very comfortable walking quite closely to each other and then the thing about the collars being up. DHB's got a gaydar and when I told her about them walking into Banana Republic with their collars up she said it went off.;)
:scratchin Hmmm....Sorry, but I'm sort of like my buddy Lego Man there. My gaydar is fairly underdeveloped on account of me being a "late bloomer." Also, it usually helps if there is some visual aid. For the future, you may want to consider obtaining a cell phone capable of taking pictures just for these types of situations.

As far as the appropriateness of their dress, as I've said before, I risk having my membership revoked because I have no fashion sense whatsoever. DP and I tend to go to the "clearance" sections of stores and have both bought clothes at Target and Wal-Mart from time to time...that's right, I said Wal-Mart. Of course, we also buy higher quality items if it is warranted. But, we're by no means hung up on labels. I honestly don't think I've ever stepped foot inside a Banana Republic, and certainly not an Abercrombie & Fitch! :crazy2:

oohhh I loved Tommy Tutone. Saw them on hs grad night at....drumroll please.....DISNEYLAND. Every year Disneyland closes the park around 10pm and lets hs seniors come w/ their schools for concerts rides etc. I think we finally got back on the bus at 5am I'm tired just thinking of it!

HuggaBaloo that's right where I lived and worked. I know Valencia CC very well. First, lived at the Arbors on Kirkman, then at Twelve Oaks/Windermere Lakes off Kirkman behind the Publix and Blockbuster. I could sit on my screened in porch every night and watch the Universal Fireworks. It was great. The Metrowest area is nice. Then I moved to Winter Park, a very nice area too. Lots of us mutha's here. Did you like the food at PC?
We really liked that area, not too touristy but still close to everything. We're not in one of the complexes on Kirkman but are just off of it. We didn't want to be on a major road like that but we'll be very close to it. We heard a lot of good stuff about Winter Park but decided it was really too far away (especially for his school).

I thought the food at PC was average to very good (for a Value resort). We both were impressed with the TV Dinner meal (turkey) and really liked some of the desserts (duh!), but we could not have eaten there every night.

I hate to admit it but I tend to be more aware of fashion trends. It's actually not in my nature, but a couple of friends of mine are in the business so they are constantly badgering me when I'm not up to date. So I guess I'm fairly representative of my people. (I love saying "my people." It always makes me snicker.)

Speaking of clothes, what's everyone wearing for today? That's the big question.

I have on Kenneth Cole patent leather loafers with a silver thingie across the top, slim cut flat front chinos, slim cut oxford (blue, gold and white) untucked. And of course, a requisite Mickey watch.

Cheeringmom, I said that I DO shop at Wal-Mart. I just have a love/hate relationship with that place. Love the prices, hate everything else. I do LOVE Target, however.

Oh, and BTW...the ultimate 80s song is "True" by Spandau Ballet! Actually, I think it's one of the best songs of all time! ::yes::

Cropped cargo pants and my new pink Tink shirt that I bought at the Disney store yesterday. It's pink (did I mention that already:teeth: ?) and it says "Tinks Pink Palace Fashion Boutique" and where ever there is an "i" there is a REAL diamond!

Uhhhhh...some khaki pants, a blue shirt and some brown shoes. You caught me on a more-boring-than-usual day.
