I can't roll my tongue when speaking, which made Spanish class kinda difficult.

llebrekniT, LOL about the picture. I guess I asked for it. Speaking of pictures, I never told you how much I like the picture in your signature. It's wonderful! I think you could win a few photo contests with that! ::yes::

Cheeringmom, good news!!

Oh, and I made a few negative comments about JD's hair last night, too. What was up with that? He looked like a "Queer Eye" episode gone horribly wrong!

Oh, and the answer to todays question...

I can do anything (I'm a guy)... Just like llebrekniT's DH!!!!!!

BTW, when my kids have ear infections the fevers have gone to 106. :scared1: We've been in the ER once. After that, I knew what to do as they did nothing special there.

Too late Lewski. I knew she was confusing us, just waiting for you to confirm it. Ok geffric, here we go. Actually, we haven't been sick since the flu in Dec., except for my freaky ear infection last week. When Ella started acting like it might be a stomach bug, not a spider bug, I warned the two older ones to steer clear of her. When the older two get sick they have to stay in their rooms until they are better. But Ella is different, of course. She has to be where ever mommy is. Her "incidents" have been confined to her room fortunately. Anyway, neither one of those knuckle-heads listened to their mama and they both played with her. They adore her so much. They don't even care if she makes them sick. I mean that. They worship that baby and she can do no wrong by them. Plus, now Daniel gets to stay home in his bed and watch DVD's all day. I'm anxiously waiting for the school to call and tell me to come get Holly. She was fine this morning........

You're right Lewski, once you've had a child with a high fever and know how to handle it, there's no use freaking out and rushing them to the doctor. We did the awful bath thing to her and started alternating Advil and Tylenol. It went from 105 to 100 in 2 hours.

'cept laundry, right?

Morning one and all. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

BichonBarb, tell your hubby that there's a 6'4" guy in NYC that's willing to fly out and nurse him back to health. He'd get tons of up close and personal attention, not to mention sponge bath after sponge bath. LOLOL!

Anyway, what did everyone do this weekend? I went out for a few drinks after work on Friday. However, becuase I had been sick a good part of the week, I had a beer, then stuck to water. Home and in bed by 12:30 that evening.

Sunday, went into lower Manhattan and had brunch with a big group of friends, most of whom I went to college. Great to see them.

Now, it's Monday. Work, work, work.

I had the Tonga Toast and Chocolate Latte. Mmmm yummy!
Bichon Barb PD for a speedy recovery. llebrekniT If I could afford them the Giro Bugaboo or Boeri Kids helmets are cool looking. Kinda like the racing helmets from the olympics.
Let's see....in answer to the latest ?? I can't sew. My mother can, in fact even my all thumbs sister can. I can't. I always end up with a big bunch of thread on the underside of my fabric. I think it has something to do with tension or maybe I just can't sew.:(
Cheeringmom;) :D :D :D

Sorry Lewski709 and llebrekniT I just cut and pasted the wrong color.. I am work and the VP was trolling the cube farm.. so i was in a hurry and not looking at what i was doing...

Oh well...She passes around a box of chocolate peanut butter girl scout cookies....

I think my question must be a little boring, so somebody else come up with something.

I'll repeat it anyway, Is there something you can't do that most other people can?

I also cannot hold my breathe under water. I have to pinch my nose like a little baby.

Hi RickinNYC! Be a good boy today, we've been in a little trouble with the mod.

OH, I saw a ring, a gold band, are you sure?

I can't sew either and I have a really difficult time losing baby weight, although my Lenten sacrifice (promise) was to get up during the week and walk a mile before heading off to the pits of h e double hockey sticks. So far, so good. Can't wait for the good weather so I can go back to walking 2 miles on my lunch hour at the park. ::yes::

DisneyDmbNut cute bday photos.

ohanafamily thanks for looking out for me, job searching and all in Fl. I am afraid the pay would not be adequate and I've never done restaurant anything (waited tables 2 nights).

HuggaBaloo don't know where you are interviewing and getting the HR job, maybe you could hook me up, depending on what the company is and what all you will be responsible for. I've applied for a few HR positions myself (don't worry, I am probably no competition). Even though I've never worked direct in HR, my hands have always been involved in it.

I just tried those Double Dutch Chocolate Chocolate Chip Girl Scout Cookies yesterday.
omg.gif
they are sooooo good.

JD doesn't want to get married until his children are old enough to take part in the ceremony and understand what is happening. (I read way too much entertainment news)

Thanks, Lewski. I'm still around. :wave2: Spending a few days in Atlanta on business, but did get in a DIS meet on Saturday. :happy1: :cool1:

Hope everyone has a great week. :sunny:

Dan

Why did I not know of this DIS meet, if it was in the windy city or did you attend in Atlanta? I could have met the infamous Dan Murphy? I guess it is as my DS #1 (age almost 5) tells me, mom you DON'T know everything, although I insist to him that MOMS do know everything and we are ALWAYS right. ;)

ohanafamily tried to PM you, but your message box is full.

Cute pics DisneyDmbNut. How old is your dd?

Re:llebrekniT's question...mmm. I can't think of anything either...wait...maybe I'm a guy too???? You all thought you knew cheeringmom. But maybe its really cheeringdad since I can do everything!!

Lewski709 they need ya over at the finish the story thread. I'm not even going there despite what RickinNYC thinks about my mind <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/17/17_1_12.gif' border=0></a>

Lewski709 I don't think that it was a Chi town DIS meet.. I have been looking for one but not seen anything since last fall.

Would you come over from South Bend??

Apart from his on-screen life Depp has dated several female celebrities off-screen, including failed engagements to Jennifer Gray, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. He was married to Lori Anderson in 1983 but then divorced in 1985. Currently Depp is living with French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis with whom he has two children; Lily-Rose Melody born in 1999 and Jack born in 2002.

BTW something that i can't do .. is work all day through without stopping by the DIS..

What can I not do, that most other folks can....hmmmm....this is so embarrassing, but if we want pancakes, we have to go to IHOP....I even have a "Perfect Pancake" pancake maker...but no perfect pancakes. I haven't given up though. I know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't stop. It's so hard to chant "DO NOT FLIP UNTIL THE BUBBLES APPEAR" while cooking....) :)

Also, some folks can do that ear-wiggling thing....not me.

Ginny
