Lewski709, I finally had a chance to return your e-mail! Sorry for the delay. It looks like you did the right thing, but it can be a little flaky if you have more than 1 copy of Internet explorer open. If you can't get it to work, drop me another e-mail with the version of Windows and IE so I can look up where the info is hidden.

RRBB and I just split a 5 for 5 from Arbeys (5 Roast Beef Sandwiches for $5. We each had 2 and the kids split 1.
At any rate, I had kind of a rough day today. I got upset that someone who should be reporting to me is reporting to someone else. This person has no computer background, but his son (in High School) knows more about computers than I ever will...You get the picture...Well, I went to him and asked him why, he said because, and tough. I asked if I should go to our mutual boss, he said yes. I waited until everyone else was gone and approached him. He called the other person who promptly told him that it was because I was lazy and all of the girls in my office said I never get any of this stuff done. I guess that he really has no clue what I do. He then said he had to get home, and ran off. I continued my discussion with my boss, and he said not to worry, and not to rock the boat. He was a little miffed at me because he owns the company and I was doing what our lawyer asked me to (which included not telling him about certain details of this lawsuit in case he gets subpoenaed ) The guy that is no longer reporting to me also ran across some of the data I was working with on this lawsuit (for our lawyer) and modified it (not intentionally) and gave them a list of some of the items that look dubious that can appear to help our case, but turn out to hurt it.
I guess the part that hurts is that I was told that all of "The Girls" in our office think I don't do anything...I do take my time and prioritize.
An example, one of the girls speakers on her computer doesn't work. All I probably have to do is to plug it back in, but she doesn't need to be listening to music anyway. (It annoys the other girls in her office, and one of them probably unplugged them)
What started the day was when I discovered one of his assistants was clearing out my cookies, temp files, and defragmenting my hard disk. OK, My computer has sensitive info on it. No, DO NOT TOUCH.
At any rate, the situation is unchanged, and I will have to find some amusing way to deal with the problem. I could turn my DW loose on him, She really would like to, but I am too nice. Actually, the one to turn loose on him is my BIL; he had some nasty thoughts that were untraceable.
Sorry for the rant. I am just a little wound up, and DW is in a frantic mood. She is trying to be consoling, but well she is nervous about CKU. I will think on what to do for a few days, and put a few roadblocks in (job security) The sad part is, If I were to throw the work at this individual, he would have no clue that it even needed to be done.
Oh well, If I loose all of my IS jobs, then I will be able to sit on the Dis all day long.....

And all of you thought I was so kind and never let anybody get under my skin... well, the more I need a vacation, the easier it is to get me riled up. Sometimes they do it just for fun...

. Don't let that guy (or the ladies in the office) get you down. I hate office politics. Have you seen Office Space? It is one of the funniest movies ever made. Whenever work drives me crazy, I always pop it in the DVD player & it cheers me up.
