The Sweet Meet - Dis'ers do Hershey

It has been almost 18 years since I was there last....I don't have any great 'plan'. I think I should defer to a local.

That's cool:thumbsup2... but I sort of figure that if we happen to past near a coaster we will be in line:scared1: Listening to hersheypark videos on facebook they do suggest to head to the back of the park and work forward... but as you mentioned someone with local knowledge will know the best way to approach it.:worship:

When are folks arriving? Where are folks eating? Details people! I need details! And no, I'm not going to go back and read this whole thread. I'm relying on the kindness of my DIS Hershey peeps to fill me in. :goodvibes

It sounds like we all have similiar agendas. We are planning to leave LI around noon on Friday afternoon, hopefully arriving around 4 or so. We are going to go to dinner around 6 at Fudruckers. Friday night the plan is Chocolate World, hanging out and catching up at the hotel with food and drink!

Saturday morning, we will be having breakfast at the hotel and hopefully getting to the park a little before opening. I guess we will have to pick a place to assemble (maybe right after park opening, at the front of the park?)

Lunch will be in the park, the jury is still out on dinner....Saturday evening, I will have the great pleasure of going to see the Jonas Brothers with my girls. I only hope the show isn't that long and I can still salvage some of the evening???

Sunday after breakfast at the hotel, we will probably leave before noon.

We'll have adult type beverages waiting for you at the hotel. Just hunt Dodie or myself down! :drinking1

My husband and I will probably join you guys for dinner on Friday and the park on Saturday. We don't have to travel anywhere, so our plan was just to join the group on whatever was going on for the weekend.

Settle down Beavis! :lmao:

Plan is to leave about 7AM and traffic willing, get into the hotel by 2PM or so on Friday. Seek out the pool, check on DIS'r whereabouts and maybe have a beer. Fuddrucker's at 6pm.

Was going to to Chocolate World but now that I'll have preview night tickets may do that.

Saturday will be ALL HERSHEY park. Plan to bring stuff for the locker so we can enjoy the water attractions. I'm just going to go with DIS'r flow.

No eating plans on Saturday other than grabbing stuff in the park and cocktails / takeout at night back at the hotel.

Sunday plan may be quick breakfast then Chocolate World and a trolley tour. My plan is to hit the road home by 1PM or so.

This is where I'll be. :cool1:

As Todd posted we are driving up from Baltimore on Friday with the goal of arriving in time for dinner.

Please send lots of pixie dust that Todd's travel for this weekend is smooth flying with no delays. There seems to be a jinx in the mix.

Yes Chevy so I guess these don't include preview. ;)

We'll be doing Choco Ville then. :)

OK, don't confuse me :laughing::laughing:....it doesn't take much

I read the back of the tickets and I don't think it includes the preview, oh well. I guess you can't be upset with free :rolleyes1

I'd like to meet up with everyone. I'm still not sure we will be able to come because it is my weekend to work. I'm trying to get it off. We may just drive in for the day.

I just found this thread today....I only live about an hour and a half from Hershey. This is so tempting........ I'm kinda new to the boards and would love to get to meet some of you! I am going to try my best to make it...if at all possible!! :thumbsup2

Woo Hoo!!! Hope you can! It'll be fun.

We'll arrive mid-afternoon on Friday. Check out Chocolate World, meet up at Fuddruckers, and then head to the preview. Saturday, we'll go with the Dis-borg mass. On Sunday, we'll head off after a leisurely rise & breakfast, and possible poke thru town. :upsidedow

Thanks,

Mark
