Most Mondays aren't a problem but I had to call out at the last minute on Friday. Then I found out that while I was out some things were said and blamed on me and I wasn't even there. I got a phone call on Friday from my director that I am to be in his office first thing on Monday morning. So yeah, nothing like starting the week with a reprimand.

I am dreading tomorrow a bit. It's my first day at my new job after being laid off for 6 months. I really got used to my routine not working. And I spent a lot more time with my 3 y.o. DS. I never used to worry too much about him being in daycare. But he's so used to being there 1/2 of each day (4 hours) and now he'll be there from 7:30 - 5:20. That's a long day for DS and it really makes me sad.

Not working isn't an option. And I think I will like this job. But it could be really tough - I am going to be an Executive Asst. for the first time ever.

Awww, I feel for you!!! I am starting a new job tomorrow as well, however my DD is 15 so you have so much more to worry about Wait shes 15

I really hate that. When they call you into an office because they need to "talk with you". Ugh. It turns out to be nothing..be confident and prepared and hope for the best!
