The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

She is so sweet too. For my brothers 50th birthday we took him and his family to see Les Miz. He is a huge Broadway fan (another favorite is Phantom) Christiana was Cosette that day, and after the show she took my brother for a backstage tour of the sets and costumes and to meet the cast. Then she bought him out to the center of the stage. We were waiting in the audience. Here is this big burly construction worker, standing on a Broadway stage just beaming! He said it was a moment he will always remember.

David Chase is a GENIUS.

Let me get this straight.

Christiana played Cosette\

Christiana is part of the cause of Christopher's death -

Christopher killed Adriana's dog (wait for it) COSETTE.

So in David Chase's mind, it came full circle

(something to think about)

Wouldn't it be a twist turn of events of Chrissy's really not dead. He was revived by the EMT's and he turned on Tony & crew. The whole funeral could've been staged with help from the Feds.

Hey, it could happen!

WOW. That's pretty cool. I was thinking that Cosette had a Sopranos ring to it, but couldn't remember the dog! I am sure David Chase knew this and thought of it too...

And James Gandolfini is a brilliant actor. The look in his eyes when he was killing Christopher was unbelievable. That was an Emmy-worthy episode for him.

One question for you guys: when Christopher was spitting up blood and he said he knew he wouldn't pass the drug test, was he ASKING Tony to kill him? I need to see it again, but he was saying help me out, I won't pass the test...what did he want Tony to do if not end it for him?

Ahh, I will miss this show a lot. Even when we say, "oh, that episode wasn't that good" it is better than anything else on TV!!!

He asked Tony to call him a cab due to the fact that he wouldn't pass a drug test.

but I saw his nose sticking out of the casket :confused3

He was asking Tony to call him a cab because he would lose his license. :lmao: :lmao:

I saw his whole face, remember? And Carm commented "they did a beautiful job with him" or something like that.

He's probably really gone, I just thought it would the ultimate revenge on Tony and crew if he faked his death (with help from the Feds).

I thought he just wanted Tony to switch places with him so that the police would believe that Tony was driving and not Chris. :confused3

On Tony's phone, he was about to dial 911 but only got to 91 before he closed his cell phone and then killed Chris. Then he called 911.

there was a re-cap in our paper today, a wire story, that said Tony killed Christopher, there asn't anything merciful or kind about it.

I originally thought that too, that Tony was going to move Chris out of the way and get in the driver's seat.

The EMT's got there awfully fast after he dialed 911. They must've already been on the way. As soon as Tony hung up you could hear the sirens in the background. Since they did get there almost immediately after Tony snuffed out Christopher, I got to thinking that maybe he wasn't really dead, or he was revived by the EMT's.

WOW!
I never would have put those together. Christopher caused Cosette the dogs death and Cosette the human contributed to Christophers death.

I think when Chris said that he wanted a cab - that is when Tony realized that Chris can't be trusted and decided to cancel the 911 call.

I guess I missed the 'call me a cab' line. I thought he just wanted Tony to switch seats with him.

Yeah, I missed the call-me-a-cab line too...I will have to re-watch it On Demand. I didn't think Tony was being merciful at all by killing him, I just didn't understand what Chris had said to him.

I think he is dead; I don't think there is enough time to bring him back from the dead in 3 more episodes. Besides, it is where the show has been heading: who will take over, who can Tony trust?

Tony realised awhile back that Christopher couldn't be counted on or trusted anymore. In fact Tony was getting quite worried about it as time went by. If Christopher tested positive for drugs, there was a chance the Feds would offer a deal to him and flip on Tony and the crew. Tony knew Christopher was weak enough and angry enough at Tony to do it. That's why he made the decision to cancel the 911 call and do what should have been done a long time ago.

If you go back to the first episode this past April, you will see Tony talking to his BIL (Bobby) about taking on more duties and by doing so, help shield the boss (Tony) from the stuff that could bring his arrest and imprisonment. Tony made references to the person that was already in line, not working out. Tony looked to Christopher years ago as heir apparent and the Son he wished he really had, instead of the way AJ has turned out. Tony himself was born to be a mobster and dropped out of collage after one semester, to join the family business and work for his father. I think you will see the end of the Soprano rule as mob boss by the last episode. There's really no one Tony can turn to and Silvie and Paulie aren't cut out to be boss and they're old anyway. I'm sure that quite a few changes and deaths are right around the corner in these last 3 episodes.

I think Tony was angry not only that Christopher had started using again but that he had the nerve to use while driving Tony and causing an accident.

That was great! I never would have thought of that. I was just so happy to see her on TV. That was really smart of you to think of that!

I'm hoping that Sylvio and Adrianna are seen telling Tony that his time has come and that they have been working for the Fed's - wouldn't that be something?

Remember, Carmela keeps bringing her up and we didnt' actually see her die and Sylvio's character has been really quiet lately and has never been anything but an advisor to Tony.

Think this scenario is possible?
