The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

I had no idea Johnny Sac was going to bite the bullet so soon.

I wonder who's body they found! I'd love it to be Adrianna's, but I don't think it'll be her.

A good bit of 'talk' of Adrianna tonight...and Johnny Sac went reaaaally fast, wasnt expecting that either!

Great acting by the actor who plays Johnny Sac. My Dad died of lung cancer and that distant look in his eyes with the mouth partly open was identical to my Dad. I'm sorry to see him go. I liked his character.

I wonder where there going with all of this. It kind of seems like they are setting it up for Christopher to back-stab Tony, doesn't it. Phil is definitely going out for blood too!

Okay, I get distracted in every scene involving Sylvio, since I start reminiscing about when he was known as Miami Steve Van Zandt in the early days of the E Street Band.....and now here he is with that crazy pompadour....well just like I'm doing right now in this post, my mind wanders.

So, I'm confused about who the guy was with him tonight that got whacked at dinner. And why? Can someone explain it all to me?

That guy was part of the New York mob and was rumored to be aiming for the boss position. Supposedly, Sylvio was set up to "distract" the guy (Sylvio didn't know this) while another potential boss whacked him to get him out of the picture.

I'll have to see where they're going with this, but I'm not too happy with that storyline. They need to be wrapping things up instead of adding new elements to the story.

With more talk of Adrianna, I wonder if the body they find will be hers, because remember Sylvio was alone in the woods with her and would never leave her there.

Also, I'm wondering if Carmela will decide to hire that P.I. she mentioned last season and if this guy locates her body...well then you know what Tony would have to do, though I can't even say it...but can you imagine that?

There have been so many hits through the years, the body could be anyones, though they are usually pretty good about getting rid of the "evidence" so to speak.

I would think Sylvio would have a tough time doing anything with Adrianna except shooting her and sloppily placing her body in a hole somewhere. So....thinking along those lines mabye it will be Adrianna. That could be the downward spiral for Carm, her reaction, what she'll do, how she'll react towards the crew, Christopher, etc.

I don't know, I just hope they don't muck it up to an unbelievable ending like they do with soap operas!

Exactly when did Meadow break up with Fin? Wasn't she moving to L.A. to be with him?:confused3

I was just wondering the same thing...I forgot what happened with him. Anybody remember?

I still remember that episode where he saw Vito at the construction site. :rotfl: He was so freaked out, but it was still pretty funny!

It was never explained what happened between Meadow and Fin. Another detail they never thought to expand on. Last thing we knew she was moving out to California to be with him while he went back to dental school.

Now she's back and in pre-med to be a pediatrician. Geez!

I had to stop watching for a few minutes when Johnny S. died. Yes, he did do a good job. Just seeing his mouth hanging upen like that was so real.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. I find myself getting angry as each episode ends because I know we are getting closer to the last episode.:rotfl:

Vito is dead, so Finn doesn't need to be with Meadow anymore. Before he saw Vito at the site he and Meadow were just living together and having a relationship. Right after Vito is caught and and subsequently hits on Finn, Meadow and Finn are up all night talking and frustrated and Finn proposes, unromantically, to Meadow....'Let's just get married.' It was tough to tell if he was really sincere or if he was doing what he could to protect himself from Vito. Unless another reason is eventually cited for the break-up, I'm sticking with my theory.

Last night's episode was pretty good. Things are definitely in motion. I thought Johnny Sac was in jail and 'out of commission' as far as running things. I don't know why they had him die.

Something else I noticed was Carmine Jr's talk with Tony. He said he dreamed of his father on what would have been his father's 100th birthday. 100? How old is Carmine Jr supposed to be? Just a thought.

And the movie screening.....:rotfl2: My father was laughing hysterically when Paulie got the phone call in the theater and didn't bother leaving or lowering his voice. Or when Ginny's brother showed up at the Bing and told the guys about John's death and Paulie starts yapping about his own battle with cancer. My Dad just loves Paulie....:)

Right after Phil talked about finally doing something about avenging his brother's murder, the next scene was the Christening of Christopher's daughter. (Does she have a name, by the way?) I remembered back when Leotardo was looking to kill Christopher right after his brother's murder. I thought....'Oh no...they're going to kill him after all....hopefully not in church'. The episode ended with no more bloodshed though.

So Chris is clean again? His relationship with that real estate agent is over?

I was also curious about all the Adrianna references.

And lastly, does anyone know what Blanca's problem was? Is she cranky because she wants AJ to propose and hints aren't penetrating?

Do you think Phil L. will kill Christopher?

I wonder if Tony wouldn't mind if Christopher is killed because Tony realized last night how Christopher really feels about him.

Do you think someone high up in the family is working with the Feds? I would laugh if it turned out to be Sylvio (sp?)

I hope this Adrianna thing goes somewhere. They start so many story lines and then don't finish them. I want to see Carmela learn more about what happened to Adrianna. Would she care? She always seems like she hates the life she has and then the next minute she's loving her life and sticking up for her husband who she badmouthed not two minutes before.

I don't know what Blanca's problem is. I think she's realizing that AJ is inmature and maybe she wants someone more manly. Do you think anything will happen between her and Tony?

I loved the Monopoly scenes from last week. We play a lot of Monopoly around here and always argue about free parking. I loved it when Tony fell on the floor and the monopoly house was stuck on his face.:rotfl:

I'll be surprised if Christopher makes it to the end. Just the way they were setting it up last night and pointing out that he was like a son to Tony... that and all the Adrianna references. Kinda makes me say hmmm.

I heard Carmella calling her Kaitlyn.

I think a good portion of the audience wants Adrianna's death avenged in some way. I have a feeling we'll all be disappointed though.

Anyone one think Tony might flip sides.
What does a Soprano do?
He sings, they couldn't have made the end that obvious could they.

Sheesh Cogswel, I hope not!

Carmella spelled Cleaver out for Tony, said it was Christopher's movie about revenge. How the guy who slept with his girlfriend ended up with a cleaver through is head. I was surprised Tony didn't pick up on it himself. Even though nothing ever went down between Tony and Adrianna, Christopher will never believe otherwise.

I just watched parts of it again. Did anyone notice the look in Christopher's eyes as he and Tony were hugging after the baby's christening? It was revenge in his eyes, plain and simple.

And the previews for next week? I think they got it in for Paulie, or they made it look like it anyway.

If anyone is talking to the Feds, I think it's Bobby or that witch Blanca.

I also thought Christopher was going to be killed in the church. I was actually sitting on the edge of my seat. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't. I do like him, but since the show is ending, I think it really needs to step up the drama.
I really hope that it is Adriana whose body is found next week, although I highly doubt it. I keep thinking they'll find it on the property where Carmela has her spec house. :scared1:

Just out of curiosity: Does anyone know if they filmed the christening scene in an actual church or was that a set? That church looked SO familiar to me.

I was kind of disappointed in last night's episode. It was too heavy on Johnny Sack's end-stage cancer and was downright depressing and hard to watch. The other story lines were handled well though.

I think it's hilarious that there is going to be an HBO documentary on "The Making of Cleaver."

Get out...really? :rotfl:
