The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

Is Blanca crazy throwing that attitude to the son of a mob boss right in front of him?!

Here's my theory. I don't think it's Adrianna that they find. I think it's someone else. But I got the feeling that Tony goes on the run for something because 1) Carmella says something about having to go "through this at our age" and 2) that Tony looked like he was hiding out in some seedy room in next week's previews.

I don't think he is hiding out. I think him and Paulie go out of town. In the previews they were saying something about testing Paulie or something.

I don't think it's Adrianna either. It's probably someone we have never heard of.

during the christening I thought something was going to happen also, this was right after Phil was shown in deep thought. I thought their was going to be a "whacking" inside or outside the church.

I thought something would happen during the Christening too. That scene reminded me of The Godfather movie when Michael Coreleone is standing up for his sisters baby, and then he whacks all the heads of the other families. I am so amazed how many actors now too that I recognize on this show. We live here in NY and my dd is an actress and we knew the girl in the opening episode (hot tub party) and then we saw 2 kids we knew last night. One was the girl that was talking to Phil at the bar, and the other girl who is talking to her dad at the rooftop party after the film is my dd's friend! My dd is going to watch the repeat tonight so she can see her friends. I really liked last nights episode, i had no idea johnny sac was going to die so fast, and i really liked sydney pollack as the janitor/wife killer/doctor. He is a good director and actor.

Does anyone else think that maybe Sydney Pollack will turn out to be a fed agent? I mean, he gained Johnny Sac's trust and Johnny told him all those stories...he just told him that he could live longer to gain his trust. He really had no point otherwise...and he is an awfully big actor/director to show up in a role like that. It's just a thought...

OMG, that makes such perfect sense I can't believe that didn't click with me when watching it. I couldn't believe the stories Sac was telling the guys and naming names. But did he tell anything of any real importance to the story from our point of view? I mean, if it was all about Carmine and some of the NY guys, does it affect the Jersey crew at all?

I was trying to think who that guy was that was the janitor. I thought it was Bernie Korpell. There were two scenes that reminded me og Godfather. The Christening scene and the set of the Mafia Wars

That is perfect! I was wondering why this guy disagreed with Dr. Rosen at first and then said he agreed with him when he was dying, of course, that was evident, but why disagree days earlier? Good call Pooh's Pixie!

I'm still holding on to my hunch that Carmela will have something to do with Adrianne's body being found and Carmela will have to join her

We'll see if my hunch is right...I can't remember if Johnny told him anything of consequence to the Jersey family. I might have to rewatch it...

I also think something will happen re: Adrianna, it's been brought up too many times. Maybe not her body found but someone finding out the truth.

It seems to me that the NY crew is falling apart and Tony may inherit it and its problems, while he still can't figure out who his heir to the throne is...

Anyone one think Tony might flip sides.
What does a Soprano do?
He sings, they couldn't have made the end that obvious could they.

The feds asked Tony (and I think Christopher last season) to let them know if they hear anything about terrorists. I wonder if that will play out by the end of the season.

I think there will be repercussions from Bobby's first "hit". What more could he have messed up?

  • The bullet went into the dryer, and he left it in there, rattling around, when he should have grabbed it and took it with him.

The victim snatched off a big chunk of Bobby's shirt, and he left it there, clutched in the guy's hand.

He just drops the gun, right outside, for the police to pick right up, and I don't think he was wearing gloves, so his fingerprints are all over it.

Man, I would make an awesome Mafia hit-woman.

The serial numbers are filed off of the guns in mob hits. It's not unheard of for the gun to be left at the scene. It's probably not traceable..

If they have DNA... from the shirt..that would be more incriminating..if Bobby has a record and has been locked up before..not sure if he has:confused3

One little tidbit that I noticed watching last night. I'm usually not one to pick up on artistic undertones, so I was proud that I think I caught one. Immediately after the janitor/orderly/oncologist told Johnny Sac "I concur with Dr. Rosen" you hear a door slam in the background. That last hope of living longer shut on Sac.

Don't know if Bobby left DNA, but I wonder if it happening in Canada helps keep him out of trouble.

The terrorist angle will definitely be an issue. They didn't bring it back up for no reason.

I'm so sad this show is ending... :sad1:

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the show, but there were too many things going on at the same time. Sydney Pollacks character seemed to ask too many questions to just be another inmate. I think you are 100% right.

I agree with you about the terrorist angle, when the feds asked Tony "doesnt your daughter go into New York to medical school and use the tunnels". That one hit a little to close to me, I live in NY and use the tunnels all the time! The look on Tonys face of disgust was great, and i still find it funny after all these years that a man with Tonys money and power has to walk down his driveway everyday to pick up the newspaper, he gets no respect!

Can someone explain the whole Adrianna and Tony thing. I don't remember them fooling around? What happened between them that Christopher wants revenge besides Tony having her whacked?

I noticed that too! I didn't pick up on it the first time I watched, but the second time I had to rewind. It sounded like a huge prison door shutting.

As far as the Sydney Pollack possible fed connection, I don't think there's anything to it. But, I could be wrong.

They didn't fool around, but the opportunity did present itself. Christopher was on the road doing business (unstamped cigarette deal from down south somewhere) and Adrianna was closing up the bar for the night. Tony was there, they did a little flirting back and forth, but it never went any further than that. Adrianna decided it was late and she needed to get back to their apt. to clean up before Chris came home. She wanted to score some coke to help get her rear in gear so to speak, so Tony decided to drive her to wherever it was they were supposed to score the coke. It was the middle of the night/early morning and there was a cat in the road that Tony swerved to avoid hitting. His SUV slid on it's side and they were both taken to the hospital.

Next thing they knew, rumors were going around that they were in the middle of doing "something" (can't say it here) while Tony was driving and that's why they got in the accident. Ofcourse, Christopher got wind of the rumor.

Adrianna tried to convince Chris that nothing happened, but he wouldn't buy it until Tony B (who was going to be a massage therapist...remember?) took Chris to the ER where Aid and Tony were taken. He got the doctor that examined Aid to explain to Chris that due to the seatbelt marks on Aid there was no way she could be doing what she was accused of doing to Tony.

Seems Christopher has been harboring resentment towards Tony all this time. He never let it go. That coupled with the fact that she ended up talking to the Feds and had to be wacked will attritube to his demise, I have no doubt about that.

Pregnant....I hadn't thought of that, but it could be. It would be her way into the family, that's for sure, much to Tony's chagrin.

Everyone ready for episode 3?

Opinions on tonight's episode?

I nearly busted a stitch when I saw how many pairs of white shoes Paulie was packing for the road trip he and Tony had taken! :lmao:
