Also, click on your sim and select "Do Yoga". You don't get nearly as overheated!!!

I keep finding new things in the game. The other week, I discovered my Sim could do Yoga on coffee tables. I think their personality has to be outgoing enough, in addition to having enough body points to do yoga.

Does anyone know if there is a way to reset all neighborhoods without having to uninstall and reinstall all the expansion packs as well as the actual Sims 2 disk? I want to start over with a clean slate but I really don't want to sit here and uninstall and reinstall everything.

The treadmill was part of the "University" expansion pack.

Yes, you can reset it without reinstalling.. HERE is the link to the instructions on how to do that.

One more note on exercising and overheating. I usually just have my Sims swim in order to work on their fitness. They don't overheat in the pool.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

The hard drive on my desktop crashed last week, and I lost ALL of my Sims stuff!

New hard drive is installed now, and I've spent hours tracking down all of my Sims cds so I can reinstall. I found them ALL... EXCEPT for the original Sims 2 dvd! Which is, of course, the first one I need to install! I'm this close to giving up the search and just going to Wal-Mart.

Just a suggestion, dear Simming friends- back up all of your downloaded custom content to a CD now and then! It's going to take me days of downloading to get things back!

Also, if anyone has done the Legacy challenge, you'll understand my anguish- I started the challenge in January 06, and FINALLY got my family to Generation 9! I just had ONE generation to go, and now they're gone! I was so attached to that family, too!

Ok so my wonderful dh, who tries really hard to get me a good gift, bought me Sims2 Life Stories the yesterday for my birthday. Is it worth keeping or should I trade it in? I've been reading alot of negative stuff about it. But after all, it is a Sims game and I'm, well, a junkie!

Since I'm on my laptop now more than my PC I got Life Stories. I really liked it. It was nice to have a goal to meet or be able to play the usual way. I've been thinking of getting the new Life Stories Pets. I rarely get to play Sims 2 anymore but I've loved all things Sims for years. I even downloaded it to my cell phone.

WDWPoly... I ended up not keeping it. For one I'm waiting on Bon Voyage and another reason is that I don't have a dvd rom drive on my pc and I wasn't sure if it was even compatable. Sooo Now just biding my time until Bon Voyage gets out!

Oh Man, I am sorry to hear about your crash. I feel your pain!! I went through the same thing at the end of May. After I got my computer back, Dh purchased me a external hard drive and I have it scheduled to back up everything once a week.
