The Silly and Mischievous Adventures of Four Crazy Canucks - FINAL THOUGHTS 2/1

Alek and Erich, you are truly warped beyond repair!!

Lessa, it was a rat!:scared1: I would have peed myself. I don't think I would be able to continue without being hugely paranoid the rest of the night. I would have gone to the first aid and had them look at it also. -and check my heart.

There was truly no need to go to First Aid, there was not a scratch on me, thankfully.

We got to "sleep in" today as our plans called for a visit to Typhoon Lagoon in the morning weather permitting.

When I woke up I was delighted to see that the sun was out and shining, it looked to be a beautiful day, FINALLY!!!

I decided to take a stroll around the resort as I went to the food court to fill our mug up with apple juice. Here are the pictures I took.

Petals Pool Bar, I was scheduled to meet a bunch of my Dis and Fairy Godmother friends here the next day.

Returning to the room we got our gear together and we were off for some water fun.

When we arrived at the park the first thing I did was buy our tickets for the day. We opted to buy one day tickets at the park as it would save $40 over adding the water park option to our tickets. So if you are only planning on one water park visit during your trip it is cheaper to buy the WP tickets separately. :teacher:

First thing we did was rent a locker for the day and shove all our gear inside. We were all ready to go but they were holding everybody at the bridge leading to the wave pool, it appears the park was still not officially open.

As soon as they let us in we grabbed our lounge chairs for the day and then we were off to our first slide

We went down all three slides at Crush N' Gusher, when you come out at the end photopass is there to take your picture.

After Crush N' Gusher we went around the park and went on every slide except for Humonga Kowabunga, we say no thank you to wedgies in our family.

Since we had eliminated all the slides we went to retrieve Mom from the chairs so that we could go on the Lazy River. Alek and Erich took off on their race around the river while Mom and I just floated along. There were a couple photopass photographers hanging around who took our picture.

We hung out in the wave pool for a while after that, I love the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon, so much fun!

We got hungry after a while so decided to go grab some lunch, Mom didn't come with us for some reason, can't remember why. :confused3

On the way to lunch we saw Stitch out taking pictures so we got in line. I apologize in advance for the scary swimsuit picture.

We ate lunch at Leaning Palms, I believe we all had burgers with ice cream for dessert. A bee started buzzing around our table which of course caused us to freak out and then Erich kept feeding the birds. :headache:

After lunch it was back to the wave pool where we stayed for pretty much the rest of the time at the water park. I got out before the others as I wanted to grab the camera from the locker and get some pictures of the park. I'll post those in a separate post as there is no room in this one.

I think we left the water park around noon, we had somewhere else to be, something Erich has been dying to do all summer.

So long Typhoon Lagoon, you were a blast!

Needless to say we were very happy that the sun had finally decided to come out for out last two days in WDW. It would have been very upsetting if we had had to cancel our water park plans.
