I love AK! I still haven't seen the parade. Will definitely catch it next time along with the bird show now that my son shows interest, too.

Africa is my favorite.

!!! Lessa are you ignoring the true facts about the parade!?!? Long story short we had a fine waiting spot when we left the bird show but lessa didn't want to wait till the parade got there so we went all the way to the tusker house area and sat down as she said it would starti around here. So we wait and while no denying it did start there it just started about 20 feet to the left and took a turn up towards the rest of the park. So we waited and we're the last to see it

We've not stayed long enough at AK to ever see the parade. Looks nice, though!

I'm glad the parade went off.

I must say one of my favorite things about the trip reports are your butt shots! Always such a ray of sunshine in the day!

UM NO Alek, totally wrong, you are remembering last years parade where we caught the tail end of the parade also in Africa. We saw the parade from its starting location (it starts near the safari) and it did not turn left it went straight over the bridge onto Discovery Island then into Asia and then into Africa again. By the time it was ending where we had been sitting we were on the safari ride so there is no possible way we waited for the parade to come back around. Geez, way to pay attention! Do I need to provide a parade map to prove it?

The parade is cute, not my favourite one but still worth seeing if you enjoy the parades.

Purple dot is where the parade comes out, pink dot is where we were. The parade then heads across the bridge onto discovery island into Asia and then back to Africa.

I just need to find the perfect song. I have a contemporary song that would fit the theme or I could go with a classic Disney tune, can't decide. Maybe I'll make it with both and see which I like best.

I dunno lessa we're gonna have to have a family vote on this one cause I remember differently and maybe I have drank to much and switched up events but so far when it came to every family vote I've been right even if you deny it on the disboards
