Where is everybody?

I think with all the kids being back in school and such everyone is just busy. It has been slow all over the boards!

I was distressed to see that they got rid of the statues of Daisy hiking with Huey, Dewey, and Louie. I wonder what happened to them, they were so cute!?

Maybe they were just taken away to be be painted. Maybe they will put them back

Turns out that what I thought was just a random breakout that would clear up quickly was actually something that would be much worse.....

Uh oh

Soon the doors for the show opened and we grabbed the seats closest to the floor that were not assigned as handicap seating, unlike this pushy woman who kept telling her sons to sit there despite the fact that the CM came over and told her they could not. The kids were so confused about who to listen to. As soon as the CM went away she was ushering them back into the handicap seats, some people!

Way to teach your kids right from wrong

Soon the show started and we discovered that we were seated in the giraffe section, the kid selected to show the audience what a giraffe sounded like was completely lost as to what sound to make, it was hilarious.

Just to let you know that I'm still reading you TR and absolutely loving it. So don't worry that you're boring anyone because that is not so. And I just love how you and your brothers get so into the Disney spirit.

Glad you are reading I was feeling like this TR was a dud and it didn't help having Alek and Erich point out how nobody was posting so people must not be liking it.

Catching up! I love the engagement picture! Are we all invited to the wedding?



I love the Festival of the Lion King but i had not read that it was indoors since we had last visited. I thought we were headed to the wrong place since we were shuffling in late. Much nicer being inside where its cool. Still a great show to watch I agree and a must do each trip to AK. Wonder where they will move it next time I go.

I agree, Erich is completely evil, I need to start editing photos of him since he seems to love doing it to me.

He told me he has something big planned for the Petals meet update. We should all be afraid very afraid.

I'm still here. I just haven't been able to get to the computer. I thought I just had a head cold, but it turns out it's bronchitis which flared up my asthma. I had to practically beg the Dr to not put me in the hospital and promised to take my breathing treatments every three hours day and night. But I feel much better now. (As long as I don't move.) More time on the DIS

Hey Lessa,

I was just at AK on Thursday and the statues of Daisy with the nephews were there. Right on the river as you enter Camp Minnie-Mickey. My girls thought it was so cute.

We had the exact same cast as you did at FOTLK. It was great but I really like the other big guy better. When we saw it a few years ago, there was a different guy with a much lower voice. He was awesome!

Honestly you can't really see it in the pictures, it just made my skin look kinda red and blotchy. Needless to say there were no good pictures of me this trip. I didn't bring any makeup on the trip either so there was no way to sort of cover it up, not that that would have worked anyways due to the rain. I religiously cleansed my face every morning and night with my Clinique face wash in the hopes that it would help but it did nothing. Oh well, you don't need to look glamorous while park touring in WDW.
