Thanks, I thought the engaged framing was too good to resist. It was so random how that came up as an option for the one Eeyore photo, I just couldn't help myself.

After watching the wonderful Festival of the Lion King we decided to catch the last show of Flights of Wonder, we didn't see this last year so we decided to give it a try. I was not expecting much, I have seen bird shows at other parks and they have failed to wow me. This show however was hilarious! We couldn't stop laughing, especially at the baby Elvis bit. Hilarious!

I won't say too much as I don't want to give anything away but definitely check this show out if you have the time.

After the show the parade was about to start so we decided to grab a seat. Originally we were going to watch from Asia but then I realized we would have to wait for it to make its way through the entire park before it reached us. I suggested we move over to Africa and see if there were any good spots there and sure enough there were. There was barely anybody around! I decided to walk around the area and take some pictures while waiting.

See, barely anybody around! Usually right before parade time people are crowded around trying to get the primo spots, not today!

I grabbed a seat with the family and waited for the parade to start. It was beginning to get quite windy and I could see some ominous clouds rolling in from the distance. Was this the end of our good weather for the day? Was Fay back to wreck havoc with our plans? Would the parade go on as scheduled?

It really is, all the Disney parks are so well themed, it is part of the magic.

I am glad my doubts were proved wrong and FOW was great. I'll never pre-judge bird shows as boring again.

Despite the wind and the ominous looking clouds rolling in the parade did in fact go on.

Of course we took video as well







Once the parade was over Mom suggested going on the safari again, we all agreed so long as there was not a long wait. Well lucky us there was not much of a wait at all. While waiting for the ride it started to rain again. So on went the ponchos, I was glad that we at least had that brief reprieve from the rain earlier in the day.
