The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

one time we were there the guy at the table next to us said no water was too big for him...when he gave him a glass that size.

so the waiter returned with a cooking pot...that was at least a 20 quart stock pot full

the guy simple said, i stand corrected.

Smart guy. Unfortunately my guy was not so smart. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Holy cow, you were an updating fiend this weekend. Too much to multi-quote...

I felt the need to catch up when I had a moment. Alsomy meet with all7 has finally happened on her thread and I amtrying to get in sync with her a bit. :goodvibes

Ah, the Wilderness Lodge. Still my happy place.
:goodvibes I still have much to experience over there.

The large soda story just feels like karma! Hilarious. And I did get to see that cupcake bit when I was there--in fact, I think the female server in your picture was our server! She was great.

I guess since I wasn't expecting her to do that it really made me laugh and took my mind off whatever was happening in the bathroom at that time. :rolleyes1

"My son is sick and I'm going to EMH...Mom of the Year." :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Let me at least add " My son is sick due to his own stupidity, and I'm going to EMH". :rotfl2::rotfl2:
In my defense, I did walk around DTD a bit before I hopped on that bus. But I know all I could do was sit in the room with him while he continued to "flush out" all that soda so I was better off at MK. :lmao:

Hmmmm, peach monorail. I would be the one calling it nekkid.

School starting has put me behind on the DIS, but just have to comment on the pic of the emergency items at Wilderness Lodge....
or maybe I won't.
I'll just sit here and giggle.

Ok, so I'm sitting her reading like 4,000 updates tonight, and the one thing that stands out (besides all the pee and barf talk) is that "FiP" is catching on!! :thumbsup2

Any kid who drinks over a liter of pop is goin' down. Hard. Feel sorry for him? No way! :lmao: I'd have been at EMH with you, had I known you were at one. You shoulda called us!

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I believe I know what you are giggling at. They do have a bit of everything don't they? :lmao:

At Disney's prices no wonder some people come home with a souvenir.

The Fip was for you. :upsidedow

I soo did not feel sorry for him. He did it to himself. :rotfl2: As long as I am not cleaning up after his poor decisions I can laugh.

As for calling you - With the initial plan of going, then getting sidelined because of stupidity, then last minute going again, I was all over the place that night and sadly calling you was not even on my radar. Looking back, I wish I had but I still had a pretty good night.

Day 3 Sept 6th Labor Day

We were up early and out the door by 7:20am. After Chris spent most of last night in the loo, he was all cleaned out and ready to go.

We pass this by the smokers bench.

Really – Isn’t the ashcan right there???

Luck on our side today, a bus arrived as soon as we did. Soon we made it to EPCOT

IMG_7474.jpg

Ahhh the wonders of an empty park. We were on the special list so we went to check in at

We had some time to kill so we sat and relaxed. I made good use of my time.

Our tour guide arrives and we begin our journey.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately! So much going on between work and life right now. Finally all caught up......well sorta! As usual enjoying the pictures and the fun you are having with your son!

Oh poor Chris! Yet...yes, hilarious! We ate at WCC during the Agent Education Program last week and one of the TA's attending drank an entire "large" Diet Coke--and quite quickly. I wonder if he had the same dilemma!

And don't feel bad about going to PM EMH, he was safe and sound - he probably enjoyed being off on his own for a bit!

Now I am kind of unprepared for that so I thanked her and called back when I got home. My next trip is NYE and NOTHING is available. Not even SSR. :sad2: This time Linda advised me to call back - daily if possible to check.

Try to just book ANY consecutive days right now, and then piece it together day by day. I've had to do this more than once and it has come through - and even had to for NYE a couple years ago. It's easier to get one day, versus multiple in a row.

Hey look, it's your son's back! :rotfl:

Looks like a nice, peaceful morning. One of these days I really want to experience an empty park. It seems like it would make you feel like you're getting away with something.

Wow, EPCOT is so very empty... I don't think I've seen it that empty. Seemed like a nice quite morning for you guys after your restless night before. :thumbsup2 Hopefully after catching up on sleep you'll be ready for your tour (: Can't wait to read all about it! :mickeyjum

GAAAAACH! I can't see any of your pix; they just won't download for me. but I'm sure all of the one's of an (apparently) empty EPCOT must be very lovely! :thumbsup2 I have a few of those myself, and love them all.

I'd love to take a tour someday- it's on my list of "haven't done that yet"s.

Pat you got some really great pictures of an empty Epcot...something I've never been able to do. Spectacular.

I do have to say my favorite pic is the one of Chris catching up on his sleep though. Amazing that our teenage sons (well, mine aren't teenagers anymore) can sleep anywhere. :lmao::lmao:

I know you have had your plate full. Glad you are caught up ....sorta. :lmao:

Things should slow down for me since school starts tomorrow!!!1 :cool1:

:scared1: For the TA. Chris did comment that it wasn't the "large" but the regular one before it that caused him to be overfull. :lmao:
It was hilarious ..... for me. :rotfl:

He went off on his own a lot this trip. This time I knew I was in the room. he would not stray too far from the bathroom. :lmao:

Thanks. I have been stalking MS. :lmao: I currently have Jan 1-3 book at AKL sav view and the 29th I grabbed today at SSR. The 30th is available at BCV. BWV, OKW. I will probably grab the 30th in the AM. Then I will keep checking and hopefully it will all work out. i don't want to change resorts eery day but I think I can probably get it to 2 resorts and be OK.

:rotfl2: We could play a game

We did feel special. Like booking that 8:05 CP at MK, doing the early Segway at EPCOT or an early breakfast in Norway makes you feel like you snuck in. :tiptoe: ( Early Breakfast at AK or DHS also allow some interesting views )

We got in around 7:50 and hung around until the guide got us at about 8:20am. Only those in the tour and people going to breakfast were allowed in.

Fun time coming up.

I hope you get to see them. Empty EPCOT is so peaceful. I finally got one of an unobstructed fountain. :thumbsup2

I have done the Bakstage safari at AK and the Segway. I did the Ak one with my DD also for her 16th. The tours were fun and offered a different spin and an educational component.
