The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

Having some down time to allow the Benadryl to kick in did the trick.

Down the streets of America

Can anyone translate?

It was a drizzly day, perfect to play in a hydrant.

In a store window.

I wanted to catch the Block Party Bash. I have not seen this parade and did not want to miss it if they ever replaced it. So I made it to the steps of American Idol.

The Benadryl kicked in and my lip was back to normal.

It was drizzly but not really raining. I thought they might cancel the parade for safety reasons but I waited anyway.
Right at 3pm they cancelled the parade. You can see that all the tape was laid down and people were waiting. Wet pavement is a safety concern and I totally understood why they cancelled it.

Would I ever catch the parade before it goes away???

I head back to One Mans Dream. Remember I have yet to see that movie?

I make it inside the theater

I remember enjoying the film and feeling satisfied that I finally watched it. Can’t remember a thing about the film however. I guess I need to see it again. :)

I make my way out of the park. Again a bus is waiting to take me back to POP.

A mid day break ( late but still a break ) and what should I do ???

By now you know I am not in for the night so where do I head tonight?

I am looking forward to seeing this method of transportation in three more weeks! :goodvibes

So glad you finally got to see the movie. Unfortunately, 'sitting' + 'dark' can often = 'zonking out', or at least fading out on a Disney trip. I'm sure you can see it again sometime, too.

Maybe you got a short nap in on your rest time at Pop?
Any food/snack pictures?

Try not to work too hard. I am tackling my attic today. I plan to have a big load for the trashmen to pick up this week. ::yes::

Just to kill a post... ;)

Right after I posted how good I felt - IT happened. the worst run I have have ever had.

Slow suggish and feeling like I am running with cement shoes. After some rest and some thinking, I believe I have it figured out. A bit of dehydration due to the extreme heat we have had lately and not giving enough time to rehydrate coupled with grass allergies which I figured out make me tired.

Benadryl and lots of water, salty items ( cravings of salty popcorn) did the trick. The last run was much better.

I just hope the extreme heat subsides by Oct in Florida. As it is now I get up to run between 7 and 8 am, sometimes earlier to beat the heat.

I'm sorry you had a bad run...but hey, a bad run is better than no run at all. I do find on morning that I only get 5-6 hours of sleep, my runs are EXTREMELY slow as a posed to just slow.:lmao: I'm sure you are just being hard on yourself.

I agree about the extreme heat. I'm running around 5:30am now, but I think now that school is out(as a tomorrow) I may try to run around 7am during the week and 9-10 on weekends to get used to the heat.

I don't remember seeing that library on the Streets of America....I'm sure I've just walked by it.

I'm curious what that sign says, so I hope someone chimes in. It must be "curb your dog" or something, judging by the way that dog looks.

I've yet to catch "One Man's Dream". Maybe someday when we decide to slow down a little.

I have got to find that key in Muppets this time. Jeremy fell in love with that show this past summer. We had never seen it before. I also need to look up at the Jello.

Really hope you got to see Block Party Bash. I really liked it. Not sure if I will like the new one.

I need to pay closer attention on the Streets of America! :confused3 I don't think I had ever seen any of your pictures. I was probably not paying attention.

i think im all caught up and thanks for all the sign pics in the muppets i have not taken the time to see them all before.
:thumbsup2

I know I saw it but it did not "stick" :rotfl: Benadryl and a hot Disney day can lead to some disengaging when seated.

Work has been a bear last week and this week. Not enough hours to get done what needs to be done.
I had a load from the garage for the trash men and I will have another load this week. Once I feel the garage is done I can get back to some of the rooms in the house. Sort, trash or give away. Long time overdue in my house.

You are making the rounds. :) The signs are in the dump shop but the movie does not dump you there, you need to walk over. ;)

Finally all caught up again!

Wow, that is one huge list of foods you're allergic to!!!

I have only seen Streetmosphere out at DHS one time, and was in too much of a hurry to stop. I have GOT to take the time next trip to check the times and catch some of them!!! :goodvibes

With all your pictures you posted in the last few updates you BETTER get way more than one question correct in the next round of my contest!!! :rolleyes1

I love the muppets but I hope this show does get some sort of update soon. Just to freshen it up a bit.
We all love that show, especially the boys, and we try to catch it at least once on our trips, but I definitely agree - I would love to see it updated so it is something new!!! :rolleyes1 We always still laugh at Waldorf and Statler though....

Considering I never knew ... it is.

You do have to be in the mood and they have to be around but it is worth it. Too hot or too cold and standing outside takes a bit away but if you stop yourself from rushing onto the next big thing, do it. :woohoo:

:teacher:
Lesson learned. I really blew the last round. :rotfl2:

I do like the show and a new one would be fab but the muppets have not really done anything "new" lately. It was on my must see list as a kid.

Add me to the "love the muppets" crowd! But I am usually so intent on watching the pre-show (even though Ive seen it a million times) I forget to really explore the holding area to enjoy their plays on words and other funnies! Muppets was my middle boy's (Ryne-20) go-to attraction. Before the other boys forced him to ride Star Tours & ToT & RnR & Little Mermaid (:rolleyes1) and all those other scary rides...you could always count on keeping him entertained by watching the Muppets! This went well into his teens. And - yes - Little Mermaid is scary...its dark, and there is that scary Sea Witch :rolleyes1 and you get a little wet - and well, it's just terrifying

The first thing I noticed was how in the world did they make the library look so HUGE!? I"m sure it's a forced perspective sort of thing - the windows being tiny on top, but WOW, it looks so big!

Oh, I"d love a translation too! Fun stuff!

Glad you didn't give them any lip about the parade being cancelled. Someday, you'll get to see it. Just as you got to see the OMD movie. Odd that you can't remember any of it though. Must have been a real snoozer. :confused3

Glad the Benadryl did the trick and your lip was as good as new.

Love the Streets of America pictures. I am very proud and can say I've noticed most of those buildings.

I'm going to guess you stopped to pick up a snack and then you hit up Epcot.

My DS will not go on ToT but loves EE and RnR. :confused3 It is the dropping but I think he is holding a grudge.
When he was 39.5 inches tall he could not go on and i think that really is part of the reason. Hopefully I can get him to try again soon.

Sorry I missed thie earlier- I have been having the issue of posting and then it not showing up for a while. :confused3

I actually keep track so when I have a good or bad run I can prove it. :lmao:
I have the Cardio trainer app on my phone so when I comapred numbers... yup it was bad but thankfully short lived.

Rehydration worked wonders. Now I just need to quit working so much so I can run. :rotfl2: I was in at 7 am this morning so no run. :headache: I will try to run both Sat and Sun but my muscles call the shots.

I don't remember seeing that library on the Streets of America....I'm sure I've just walked by it.

Oh yeah, you just walked by it. :lmao: A gray nondescript building but it is big as day. :rotfl2:

I'm curious what that sign says, so I hope someone chimes in. It must be "curb your dog" or something, judging by the way that dog looks.

I don't think I can put that into Google translate. :lmao:

I've yet to catch "One Man's Dream". Maybe someday when we decide to slow down a little.

I need to see the refurbed version. I also need to see that movie again. I am sure I was entertained and captivated at the time but I cannot for the life of me rememeber the movie.

I'm using C25K. I do like that it keeps track of everything for me. I just have to get up and do it. This AM was not so good tho. I did get up , only to find my iphone dead. I charged it for about 30 minutes only to find DD( she's 1 1/2 ) hid my iphone icon when she got hold of my phone yesterday. I need my tunes when I run. I gave up and did laundry :laundy: instead. Tomorrow is another day.

It is right when you walk in to the right. It is so easy to walk on by and veering off to the right takes some planning so you don't use your family while you do it. ;)

Really hope you got to see Block Party Bash. I really liked it. Not sure if I will like the new one.

Remember I had a couple of trips before it went away.

Since it is "city street" I think most of us just walk straight through. There are cute touches everywhere.

Being alone I could take my time and not be rushed. :cloud9:
