QOTD: What is your next goal race?
Ironman Florida in November. It's my only goal race this year.

So - not *technically* running related, but in a roundabout way it ultimately is.
I've got an interview for a job tomorrow. That's right, I may leave the ranks of the retired!
If y'all can keep your fingers crossed that I can actually remember how to interview, that would be great ...

My goal in every race is to finish!! That being said I would love to finish the Wineglass Half in under an 3 hours. According to my 10mi time and McMillan running I should be able to do in in 2:46:50 but it will be the first half marathon I've run alone and it will also be the first I've run the entire thing (at Disney I run with my friends who are run-walk-runners) so the run will be very different from previous halfs. I'm also going to be driving to the Corning area in the middle of the night to get to the race on time (though I'll be switching off with another driver) due to a family event so I'm not certain how that will affect me. I think it will depend partly on the course so we'll see how it goes.QOTD: What is your next goal race?

Mickey Mouse...well maybe Walt...to let him see how "his" races have inspired so many people to start running and get on the path to healthy living.QOTD: If you could go out for a run (distance not important here) with anyone dead or alive who would it be and why?
