I can't remember the room number but we were in the far wing, 5th floor. View from the Dolphin in the early a.m.

Grand Floridian 2nd floor back side of Sago Cay garden view room...great view of the monorail (which thrilled my sons so it was perfect for us!). We could hear the train from the MK if we had the balcony door open. :)

AKL 5th floor deluxe savannah view room (or concierge room) don't recall the room # but it was in the next to the last section of Kudu trail overlooking the Arusha savannah (it was very cold and rainy our first few days and we didn't see many animals at all those days. we saw plenty once the weather was nicer).

How about some pictures from the Yacht Club. We are going in January and this will be our first time staying on resort. And any pics of the rooms, especially ground floor. Thanks KFree :bounce:

Okay, probably no one cares about the view at a moderate since you don't have a balcony, but here's our view from a standard room (1616) at Port Orleans Riverside:

This is considered a "woods view" at WL. I needed a roll in shower and was given room 6098, a woods view. But sitting out on the balcony I had a view of the parking lot, some green roofs, some cement? roofs and the bus stops. Off beyond all of these were trees but no trees were really close.

Personally I was disapointed in the view. I would have been ok with this as a standard view but don't feel like I got my monies worth as a woods view.

I know people are more interested in the deluxe views, but I loved our view at CSR and wanted to share. :)
This is from room 7240 in Ranchos 7A.

Not me! I don't mind seeing all of them!

The only one I have on the computer now is from the most recent trip to Pop Century 9/05. This is '50s section building C 3rd floor standard room early in the morning, view of the bowling pin pool:

That is BEAUTIFUL!!! Making a note of that! Is it a preferred location? How close was in to transportation, pool and food?

Once again, someone has shown me that staying at WL, view-wise, is an absolute crap shoot. IMO, your view (especially having paid for it) is unacceptable. From what I've read (from many, many posts here on the DIS), it is just too possible to get a comparable view at this resort (having paid for a more preferable one) to make it worth my while to even contemplate staying here.
